1Now these are the names of the tribes: From the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath, Hazar Enan at the border of Damascus, northward beside Hamath, (and they shall have their sides east and west), Dan, one portion.
1Perbatasan tanah di sebelah utara memanjang ke timur, mulai dari Laut Tengah ke arah kota Hetlon, jalan masuk ke Hamat, kota Hazar-Enan, sampai ke perbatasan di antara kota Damsyik dan kota Hamat. Suku-suku berikut ini masing-masing harus mendapat satu bagian dari tanah yang meluas dari perbatasan timur menuju ke barat sampai ke Laut Tengah, dalam urutan sebagai berikut dari utara ke selatan: Dan, Asyer, Naftali, Manasye, Efraim, Ruben, Yehuda.

8By the border of Judah, from the east side to the west side, shall be the offering which you shall offer, twenty-five thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the portions, from the east side to the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in its midst.

9Sebagian dari daerah itu dikhususkan bagi TUHAN, yaitu sebidang tanah di bagian pusat, panjangnya 12,5 kilometer dan lebarnya 10 kilometer.
10For these, even for the priests, shall be the holy offering: toward the north twenty-five thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south twenty-five thousand in length: and the sanctuary of Yahweh shall be in its midst.
10Di bagian tengah tanah itu akan didirikan Rumah TUHAN. Para imam harus mendapat bagian dari daerah yang suci itu. Bagian mereka ialah 12,5 kilometer dari sisi timur ke barat, dan lima kilometer dari sisi utara ke selatan.
11 It shall be for the priests who are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, who have kept my instruction, who didn’t go astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.
11Daerah yang khusus itu akan menjadi milik imam-imam keturunan Zadok. Mereka telah melayani TUHAN dengan setia dan tidak seperti orang Lewi yang sesuku dengan mereka, yang turut berbuat dosa bersama dengan orang-orang Israel lainnya.
12It shall be to them an offering from the offering of the land, a thing most holy, by the border of the Levites.
12Sebab itu kepada keturunan Zadok itu harus diberikan tanah khusus di samping tanah yang akan diberikan kepada orang Lewi. Dan tanah khusus itu sangat suci.
13Answerable to the border of the priests, the Levites shall have twenty-five thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: all the length shall be twenty-five thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.
13Tanah orang-orang Lewi itu panjangnya 12,5 kilometer dari timur ke barat, dan lebarnya 5 kilometer dari utara ke selatan dan letaknya sejajar dengan tanah para imam.
14They shall sell none of it, nor exchange it, nor shall the first fruits of the land be alienated; for it is holy to Yahweh.
14Sejengkal pun dari tanah itu tak boleh mereka jual atau mereka tukarkan; bagian yang paling baik dari tanah Israel tidak boleh pindah ke tangan orang lain, sebab tanah itu sudah dikhususkan bagi TUHAN dan menjadi milik-Nya.
15The five thousand that are left in the breadth, in front of the twenty-five thousand, shall be for common use, for the city, for dwelling and for suburbs; and the city shall be in its midst.
15Di sebelah selatan dari tanah khusus itu, masih ada sisa yang panjangnya 12,5 kilometer, dan lebarnya dua setengah kilometer. Bagian itu tidak suci dan boleh dipakai rakyat untuk tempat tinggal dan untuk padang rumput, di bagian tengahnya harus dibangun sebuah kota.
16These shall be its measures: the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.
16Kota itu harus berbentuk persegi empat, setiap sisinya berukuran dua seperempat kilometer.
17The city shall have suburbs: toward the north two hundred fifty, and toward the south two hundred fifty, and toward the east two hundred fifty, and toward the west two hundred fifty.
17Di sekeliling seluruh kota itu harus ada tanah lapang yang lebarnya 125 meter.
18The remainder in the length, answerable to the holy offering, shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten thousand westward; and it shall be answerable to the holy offering; and its increase shall be for food to those who labor in the city.
18Di sebelah timur dan barat kota itu ada tanah lapang yang masing-masing berukuran lima kali dua setengah kilometer. Kedua tanah lapang itu harus dipakai untuk tanah pertanian oleh penduduk kota.
19Those who labor in the city, out of all the tribes of Israel, shall cultivate it.
19Orang-orang dari semua suku Israel yang mendiami kota itu boleh mengerjakan tanah itu.
20All the offering shall be twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand: you shall offer the holy offering foursquare, with the possession of the city.
20Jadi, seluruh daerah itu, termasuk tanah yang khusus dan tanah untuk kota, berbentuk persegi empat berukuran 12,5 kilometer pada setiap sisinya.
21The residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy offering and of the possession of the city; in front of the twenty-five thousand of the offering toward the east border, and westward in front of the twenty-five thousand toward the west border, answerable to the portions, it shall be for the prince: and the holy offering and the sanctuary of the house shall be in its midst.
21Tanah di sebelah barat dan timur dari daerah khusus yang disediakan untuk Rumah TUHAN, para imam, orang Lewi dan kota itu, adalah untuk penguasa yang memerintah. Di sebelah timur tanah itu meluas sampai ke perbatasan timur, dan di sebelah barat sampai ke Laut Tengah, dan terletak di antara tanah Yehuda dan tanah Benyamin.
22Moreover from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the prince’s, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, it shall be for the prince.

23As for the rest of the tribes: from the east side to the west side, Benjamin, one portion.
23Tanah yang ada di sebelah selatan dari daerah khusus itu, adalah untuk suku-suku yang lainnya. Luas tanah itu mulai dari perbatasan timur ke arah barat sampai ke Laut Tengah, dan dibagi menurut susunan ini dari utara ke selatan: Benyamin, Simeon, Isakhar, Zebulon, Gad.

29This is the land which you shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their several portions, says the Lord Yahweh.
29TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi berkata, "Begitulah tanah itu harus dibagi-bagi kepada suku-suku Israel."
30These are the exits of the city: On the north side four thousand and five hundred reeds by measure;
30Pintu masuk ke kota Yerusalem semuanya ada dua belas. Keempat temboknya masing-masing berukuran dua seperempat kilometer, dan mempunyai tiga gerbang. Tiap-tiap gerbang dinamakan menurut nama salah satu suku Israel. Gerbang-gerbang di utara dinamakan Ruben, Yehuda dan Lewi; gerbang-gerbang di tembok timur dinamakan Yusuf, Benyamin, serta Dan; yang ada di tembok selatan terdapat nama-nama Simeon, Isakhar dan Zebulon; sedangkan yang di tembok barat diberi nama Gad, Asyer, dan Naftali.
31and the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel, three gates northward: the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one.

35It shall be eighteen thousand reeds around: and the name of the city from that day shall be, Yahweh is there.
35Seluruh tembok itu panjangnya sembilan kilometer. Dan mulai saat ini orang menamakan kota itu: "TUHAN ADA DI SITU!"
