1Awake, awake, put on your strength, Zion; put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean.
1Bangunlah, hai Yerusalem, bangunlah! Kuatkanlah hatimu! Kenakanlah pakaian kebesaranmu! Hai Yerusalem, kota yang suci, orang najis takkan lagi masuk lewat gerbangmu.
2Shake yourself from the dust! Arise, sit up, Jerusalem! Release yourself from the bonds of your neck, captive daughter of Zion!
2Bangkitlah dari debu, hai Yerusalem, kebaskanlah abu yang melekat padamu. Lepaskanlah rantai yang mengikat lehermu, hai penduduk Sion yang tertawan!
3For thus says Yahweh, “You were sold for nothing; and you shall be redeemed without money.”
3TUHAN berkata kepada umat-Nya, "Kamu dijual dengan cuma-cuma, jadi sekarang dibebaskan dengan cuma-cuma juga.
4For thus says the Lord Yahweh, “My people went down at the first into Egypt to live there: and the Assyrian has oppressed them without cause.
4Dahulu kamu pergi ke Mesir dan tinggal di situ sebagai orang asing. Kemudian Asyur memeras kamu tanpa alasan.
5“Now therefore, what do I do here,” says Yahweh, “seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them mock,” says Yahweh, “and my name continually all the day is blasphemed.
5Sekarang apa urusan-Ku di sini? Orang Babel menawan kamu dengan begitu saja. Mereka yang menindas kamu menyombong dan terus-menerus menghina Aku.
6Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks; behold, it is I.”
6Sebab itu kamu akan mengakui bahwa Aku Allah, dan pada waktu itu kamu akan tahu bahwa Akulah yang berbicara kepadamu."
7How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
7Alangkah senangnya melihat kedatangan utusan; ia berjalan melintasi pegunungan dan membawa kabar baik, kabar sejahtera, berita keselamatan bagi Sion; katanya, "Allahmu Raja!"
8The voice of your watchmen! they lift up the voice, together do they sing; for they shall see eye to eye, when Yahweh returns to Zion.
8Dengarlah pekik gembira pengawal kota, mereka bersorak-sorak bersama! Sebab dengan mata kepala sendiri mereka melihat TUHAN kembali ke Sion.
9Break forth into joy, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem; for Yahweh has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.
9Bersoraksorailah, hai puing-puing Yerusalem, sebab TUHAN menghibur umat-Nya dan membebaskan Yerusalem.
10Yahweh has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
10TUHAN menunjukkan kekuasaan-Nya di depan mata segala bangsa. Maka seluruh bumi akan menyaksikan keselamatan dari Allah kita.
11Depart, depart, go out from there, touch no unclean thing! Go out of the midst of her! Cleanse yourselves, you who bear the vessels of Yahweh.
11Pergilah! Tinggalkanlah kota Babel, hai kamu yang membawa perkakas rumah Allah! Janganlah menyentuh barang yang najis: sucikanlah dirimu sebelum berangkat.
12For you shall not go out in haste, neither shall you go by flight: for Yahweh will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
12Kamu tidak akan terburu-buru pergi, dan tidak seperti orang yang melarikan diri. Sebab TUHAN akan membimbing kamu; Allah Israel melindungi kamu dari segala penjuru.
13Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.
13TUHAN berkata, "Sesungguhnya, hamba-Ku akan berhasil; ia akan disanjung dan ditinggikan.
14Like as many were astonished at you (his appearance was marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men),
14Dahulu banyak orang terkejut melihat dia, rupanya dirusak sehingga tidak seperti manusia lagi.
15so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they understand.
15Tapi sekarang banyak bangsa dibuatnya heran, raja-raja membisu karena tercengang. Mereka akan melihat dan mengerti, yang sebelumnya tidak mereka ketahui."
