¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹主はまたモーセに言われた、

²“Tell Aaron and his sons to separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, which they make holy to me, and that they not profane my holy name. I am Yahweh.

²「アロンとその子たちに告げて、イスラエルの人々の聖なる物、すなわち、彼らがわたしにささげる物をみだりに用いて、わたしの聖なる名を汚さないようにさせなさい。わたしは主である。

³“Tell them, ‘If anyone of all your seed throughout your generations approaches the holy things, which the children of Israel make holy to Yahweh, having his uncleanness on him, that soul shall be cut off from before me. I am Yahweh.

³彼らに言いなさい、『あなたがたの代々の子孫のうち、だれでも、イスラエルの人々が主にささげる聖なる物に、汚れた身をもって近づく者があれば、その人はわたしの前から断たれるであろう。わたしは主である。

⁴“‘Whoever of the seed of Aaron is a leper or has an issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he is clean. Whoever touches anything that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goes from him;

⁴アロンの子孫のうち、だれでも、らい病の者、また流出ある者は清くなるまで、聖なる物を食べてはならない。また、すべて死体によって汚れた物に触れた者、精を漏らした者、

⁵or whoever touches any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatever uncleanness he has;

⁵または、すべて人を汚す這うものに触れた者、または、どのような汚れにせよ、人を汚れさせる人に触れた者、

⁶the person that touches any such shall be unclean until the evening, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he bathe his body in water.

⁶このようなものに触れた人は夕まで汚れるであろう。彼はその身を水にすすがないならば、聖なる物を食べてはならない。

⁷When the sun is down, he shall be clean; and afterward he shall eat of the holy things, because it is his bread.

⁷日が入れば、彼は清くなるであろう。そののち、聖なる物を食べることができる。それは彼の食物だからである。

⁸That which dies of itself, or is torn by animals, he shall not eat, defiling himself by it. I am Yahweh.

⁸自然に死んだもの、または裂き殺されたものを食べ、それによって身を汚してはならない。わたしは主である。

⁹“‘They shall therefore follow my requirements, lest they bear sin for it, and die therein, if they profane it. I am Yahweh who sanctifies them.

⁹それゆえに、彼らはわたしの言いつけを守らなければならない。彼らがこれを汚し、これがために、罪を獲て死ぬことのないためである。わたしは彼らを聖別する主である。

¹⁰“‘No stranger shall eat of the holy thing: a foreigner living with the priests, or a hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.

¹⁰すべて一般の人は聖なる物を食べてはならない。祭司の同居人や雇人も聖なる物を食べてはならない。

¹¹But if a priest buys a slave, purchased by his money, he shall eat of it; and such as are born in his house, they shall eat of his bread.

¹¹しかし、祭司が金をもって人を買った時は、その者はこれを食べることができる。またその家に生れた者も祭司の食物を食べることができる。

¹²If a priest’s daughter is married to an outsider, she shall not eat of the heave offering of the holy things.

¹²もし祭司の娘が一般の人にとついだならば、彼女は聖なる供え物を食べてはならない。

¹³But if a priest’s daughter is a widow, or divorced, and has no child, and has returned to her father’s house, as in her youth, she may eat of her father’s bread: but no stranger shall eat any of it.

¹³もし祭司の娘が、寡婦となり、または出されて、子供もなく、その父の家に帰り、娘の時のようであれば、その父の食物を食べることができる。ただし、一般の人は、すべてこれを食べてはならない。

¹⁴“‘If a man eats something holy unwittingly, then he shall add the fifth part of its value to it, and shall give the holy thing to the priest.

¹⁵The priests shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer to Yahweh,

¹⁶and so cause them to bear the iniquity that brings guilt, when they eat their holy things: for I am Yahweh who sanctifies them.’”

¹⁶人々が聖なる物を食べて、その罪のとがを負わないようにさせなければならない。わたしは彼らを聖別する主である』」。

¹⁷Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁸“Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘Whoever is of the house of Israel, or of the foreigners in Israel, who offers his offering, whether it be any of their vows, or any of their freewill offerings, which they offer to Yahweh for a burnt offering;

¹⁸「アロンとその子たち、およびイスラエルのすべての人々に言いなさい、『イスラエルの家の者、またはイスラエルにおる他国人のうちのだれでも、誓願の供え物、または自発の供え物を燔祭として主にささげようとするならば、

¹⁹that you may be accepted, you shall offer a male without blemish, of the bulls, of the sheep, or of the goats.

¹⁹あなたがたの受け入れられるように牛、羊、あるいはやぎの雄の全きものをささげなければならない。

²⁰But whatever has a blemish, that you shall not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.

²⁰すべてきずのあるものはささげてはならない。それはあなたがたのために、受け入れられないからである。

²¹Whoever offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh to accomplish a vow, or for a freewill offering, of the herd or of the flock, it shall be perfect to be accepted; no blemish shall be therein.

²¹もし人が特別の誓願をなすため、または自発の供え物のために、牛または羊を酬恩祭の犠牲として、主にささげようとするならば、その受け入れられるために、それは全きものでなければならない。それには、どんなきずもあってはならない。

²²Blind, injured, maimed, having a wart, festering, or having a running sore, you shall not offer these to Yahweh, nor make an offering by fire of them on the altar to Yahweh.

²²すなわち獣のうちで、めくらのもの、折れた所のあるもの、切り取った所のあるもの、うみの出る者、かいせんの者、かさぶたのある者など、あなたがたは、このようなものを主にささげてはならない。また祭壇の上に、これらを火祭として、主にささげてはならない。

²³Either a bull or a lamb that has any deformity or lacking in his parts, that you may offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

²³牛あるいは羊で、足の長すぎる者、または短すぎる者は、あなたがたが自発の供え物とすることはできるが、誓願の供え物としては受け入れられないであろう。

²⁴That which has its testicles bruised, crushed, broken, or cut, you shall not offer to Yahweh; neither shall you do thus in your land.

²⁴あなたがたは、こうがんの破れたもの、つぶれたもの、裂けたもの、または切り取られたものを、主にささげてはならない。またあなたがたの国のうちで、このようなことを、行ってはならない。

²⁵Neither shall you offer the bread of your God from the hand of a foreigner of any of these; because their corruption is in them. There is a blemish in them. They shall not be accepted for you.’”

²⁵また、あなたがたは異邦人の手からこれらのものを受けて、あなたがたの神の食物としてささげてはならない。これらのものには欠点があり、きずがあって、あなたがたのために受け入れられないからである』」。

²⁶Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²⁶主はまたモーセに言われた、

²⁷“When a bull, or a sheep, or a goat, is born, then it shall remain seven days with its mother; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for the offering of an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

²⁷「牛、または羊、またはやぎが生れたならば、これを七日の間その母親のもとに置かなければならない。八日目からは主にささげる火祭として受け入れられるであろう。

²⁸Whether it is a cow or ewe, you shall not kill it and its young both in one day.

²⁸あなたがたは雌牛または雌羊をその子と同じ日にほふってはならない。

²⁹“When you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to Yahweh, you shall sacrifice it so that you may be accepted.

²⁹あなたがたが感謝の犠牲を主にささげるときは、あなたがたの受け入れられるようにささげなければならない。

³⁰It shall be eaten on the same day; you shall leave none of it until the morning. I am Yahweh.

³⁰これはその日のうちに食べなければならない。明くる日まで残しておいてはならない。わたしは主である。

³¹“Therefore you shall keep my commandments, and do them. I am Yahweh.

³¹あなたがたはわたしの戒めを守り、これを行わなければならない。わたしは主である。

³²You shall not profane my holy name, but I will be made holy among the children of Israel. I am Yahweh who makes you holy,

³²あなたがたはわたしの聖なる名を汚してはならない。かえって、わたしはイスラエルの人々のうちに聖とされなければならない。わたしはあなたがたを聖別する主である。あなたがたの神となるために、あなたがたをエジプトの国から導き出した者である。わたしは主である」。

³³who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. I am Yahweh.”
