1“‘If anyone sins, in that he hears the voice of adjuration, he being a witness, whether he has seen or known, if he doesn’t report it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
1もし人が証人に立ち、誓いの声を聞きながら、その見たこと、知っていることを言わないで、罪を犯すならば、彼はそのとがを負わなければならない。
2“‘Or if anyone touches any unclean thing, whether it is the carcass of an unclean animal, or the carcass of unclean livestock, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and it is hidden from him, and he is unclean, then he shall be guilty.
2また、もし人が汚れた野獣の死体、汚れた家畜の死体、汚れた這うものの死体など、すべて汚れたものに触れるならば、そのことに気づかなくても、彼は汚れたものとなって、とがを得る。
3“‘Or if he touches the uncleanness of man, whatever his uncleanness is with which he is unclean, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty.
3また、もし彼が人の汚れに触れるならば、その人の汚れが、どのような汚れであれ、それに気づかなくても、彼がこれを知るようになった時は、とがを得る。
4“‘Or if anyone swears rashly with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatever it is that a man might utter rashly with an oath, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty of one of these.
4また、もし人がみだりにくちびるで誓い、悪をなそう、または善をなそうと言うならば、その人が誓ってみだりに言ったことは、それがどんなことであれ、それに気づかなくても、彼がこれを知るようになった時は、これらの一つについて、とがを得る。
5It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned:
5もしこれらの一つについて、とがを得たときは、その罪を犯したことを告白し、
6and he shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh for his sin which he has sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin.
6その犯した罪のために償いとして、雌の家畜、すなわち雌の小羊または雌やぎを主のもとに連れてきて、罪祭としなければならない。こうして祭司は彼のために罪のあがないをするであろう。
7“‘If he can’t afford a lamb, then he shall bring his trespass offering for that in which he has sinned, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to Yahweh; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
7もし小羊に手のとどかない時は、山ばと二羽か、家ばとのひな二羽かを、彼が犯した罪のために償いとして主に携えてきて、一羽を罪祭に、一羽を燔祭にしなければならない。
8He shall bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one which is for the sin offering, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not sever it completely.
8すなわち、これらを祭司に携えてきて、祭司はその罪祭のものを先にささげなければならない。すなわち、その頭を首の根のところで、摘み破らなければならない。ただし、切り離してはならない。
9He shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering.
9そしてその罪祭の血を祭壇の側面に注ぎ、残りの血は祭壇のもとに絞り出さなければならない。これは罪祭である。
10He shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he has sinned, and he shall be forgiven.
10また第二のものは、定めにしたがって燔祭としなければならない。こうして、祭司が彼のためにその犯した罪のあがないをするならば、彼はゆるされるであろう。
11“‘But if he can’t afford two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he shall bring his offering for that in which he has sinned, the tenth part of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel of fine flour for a sin offering. He shall put no oil on it, neither shall he put any frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.
11もし二羽の山ばとにも、二羽の家ばとのひなにも、手の届かないときは、彼の犯した罪のために、供え物として麦粉十分の一エパを携えてきて、これを罪祭としなければならない。ただし、その上に油をかけてはならない。またその上に乳香を添えてはならない。これは罪祭だからである。
12He shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial portion, and burn it on the altar, on the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. It is a sin offering.
12彼はこれを祭司のもとに携えて行き、祭司は一握りを取って、記念の分とし、これを主にささげる火祭のように、祭壇の上で焼かなければならない。これは罪祭である。
13The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned in any of these things, and he will be forgiven; and the rest shall be the priest’s, as the meal offering.’”
13こうして、祭司が彼のため、すなわち、彼がこれらの一つを犯した罪のために、あがないをするならば、彼はゆるされるであろう。そしてその残りは素祭と同じく、祭司に帰するであろう』」。
14Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
14主はまたモーセに言われた、
15“If anyone commits a trespass, and sins unwittingly, in the holy things of Yahweh; then he shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh, a ram without blemish from the flock, according to your estimation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.
15「もし人が不正をなし、あやまって主の聖なる物について罪を犯したときは、その償いとして、あなたの値積りにしたがい、聖所のシケルで、銀数シケルに当る雄羊の全きものを、群れのうちから取り、それを主に携えてきて、愆祭としなければならない。
16He shall make restitution for that which he has done wrong in the holy thing, and shall add a fifth part to it, and give it to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and he will be forgiven.
16そしてその聖なる物について犯した罪のために償いをし、またその五分の一をこれに加えて、祭司に渡さなければならない。こうして祭司がその愆祭の雄羊をもって、彼のためにあがないをするならば、彼はゆるされるであろう。
17“If anyone sins, and does any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done; though he didn’t know it, yet he is guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
17また人がもし罪を犯し、主のいましめにそむいて、してはならないことの一つをしたときは、たといそれを知らなくても、彼は罪を得、そのとがを負わなければならない。
18He shall bring a ram without blemish from of the flock, according to your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning the thing in which he sinned and didn’t know it, and he will be forgiven.
18彼はあなたの値積りにしたがって、雄羊の全きものを群れのうちから取り、愆祭としてこれを祭司のもとに携えてこなければならない。こうして、祭司が彼のために、すなわち彼が知らないで、しかもあやまって犯した過失のために、あがないをするならば、彼はゆるされるであろう。これは愆祭である。彼は確かに主の前にとがを得たからである」。
19It is a trespass offering. He is certainly guilty before Yahweh.”
