1Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,
1Nekk Bulus, iwumi i d-issawel Sidi Ṛebbi s lebɣi-ines iwakken ad iliɣ d amceggeɛ n Ɛisa Lmasiḥ akk-d gma-tneɣ Sustin,
2to the assembly of God which is at Corinth; those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, both theirs and ours:
2i tejmaɛt n Sidi Ṛebbi i gellan di temdint n Kurintus, i wid i d-yextaṛ Sidi Ṛebbi s Ɛisa Lmasiḥ ad ilin d imqedsen, d wid akk yellan di mkul amkan ineddhen s yisem n Sidna Ɛisa Lmasiḥ, i gellan d Ssid-nsen d Ssid nneɣ :
3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3ṛṛeḥma ț-țalwit a wen-d țțunefkent s ɣuṛ Ṛebbi Baba-tneɣ akk-d Sidna Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
4I always thank my God concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus;
4Zgiɣ țḥemmideɣ Sidi Ṛebbi fell-awen ɣef ṛṛeḥma i wen-d-yefka s Ɛisa Lmasiḥ,
5that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge;
5axaṭer yis i kkun-id yeṛzeq s mkul lxiṛ, ama s wawal-is ama s tmusni-ines,
6even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
6imi cchada ɣef Lmasiḥ tṛeṣṣa nezzeh deg-wen.
7so that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ;
7Daymi ur kkun-ixuṣṣ wacemma n lxiṛ s ɣuṛ Ṛebbi, kunwi yețṛaǧun ass i deg ara d-yuɣal Ssid-nneɣ.
8who will also confirm you until the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
8A kkun isseǧhed alamma ț-țaggara iwakken a d-tbanem mbla lɛib ass n tuɣalin n Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
9God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
9Sidi Ṛebbi yețțaṭaf deg wawal-is ; d nețța i wen-d-issawlen iwakken aț-țɛicem s tdukli akk-d Mmi-s, Ɛisa Lmasiḥ Ssid-nneɣ.
10Now I beg you, brothers, The word for “brothers” here and where context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” through the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
10Ay atmaten, a kkun-nhuɣ s yisem n Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ : msefhamet wway gar-awen, ur ilaq ara a d-yili beṭṭu gar-awen, ddukklet, sɛut yiwen uxemmem d yiwen n ṛṛay.
11For it has been reported to me concerning you, my brothers, by those who are from Chloe’s household, that there are contentions among you.
11Axaṭer ay atmaten, irgazen n wexxam n Kluwi ṣṣawḍen-iyi-d lexbaṛ belli ițțili-d umennuɣ gar-awen.
12Now I mean this, that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” “I follow Apollos,” “I follow Cephas,” and, “I follow Christ.”
12Ayen bɣiɣ a d-iniɣ : sliɣ belli llan gar-awen wid yeqqaṛen :« nekk ddiɣ d Bulus », ma d wayeḍ yeqqaṛ : « nekk țekkiɣ d Abulus », wayeḍ daɣen : « nekk ddiɣ d Buṭrus », llan daɣen wid yeqqaṛen : « nekk țekkiɣ di Lmasiḥ ».
13Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul?
13Amek akka, tɣilem Lmasiḥ yebḍa ? Eɛni d Bulus i gețwasemmṛen fell-awen neɣ s yisem n Bulus i tețwaɣeḍsem ?
14I thank God that I baptized none of you, except Crispus and Gaius,
14Ad ḥemmdeɣ Ṛebbi imi ur sɣeḍseɣ ula d yiwen deg-wen anagar Krisbus d Gayus.
15so that no one should say that I had baptized you into my own name.
15Akka, yiwen deg-wen ur izmir a d-yini belli yețwaɣḍes s yisem-iw.
16(I also baptized the household of Stephanas; besides them, I don’t know whether I baptized any other.)
16Tella daɣen twacult n Stifanas, d nekk i ț-isɣeḍsen meɛna ur ḥsiɣ ara sɣeḍseɣ yiwen nniḍen dinna.
17For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Good News—not in wisdom of words, so that the cross of Christ wouldn’t be made void.
17Lmasiḥ ur iyi-d-iceggeɛ ara iwakken ad sɣeḍseɣ meɛna iceggeɛ iyi-d ad beccṛeɣ lexbaṛ n lxiṛ ; mačči s yimeslayen i d-yekkan si lefhama n wemdan iwakken ur tekkseɣ ara lqima i lmut n Lmasiḥ ɣef wumidag.
18For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.
18Ț-țideț, abecceṛ n lmut n Lmasiḥ ɣef wumidag ț-țidderwect i wid iḍaɛen ; meɛna ɣuṛ-nneɣ nukni yellan deg webrid n leslak, ț-țazmert n Ṛebbi.
19For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, I will bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing.” Isaiah 29:14
19Atan wayen i d-nnant tira iqedsen : Ad snegreɣ tamusni n imusnawen, ad rreɣ d ula+ c lefhama n wid ifehmen+ .
20Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the lawyer of this world? Hasn’t God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
20Anda-t uɛeqli ? Anda-t umusnaw ? Anda-t uḥṛic ara d-isfehmen ayen ideṛṛun di lǧil-agi ? Ur d-isbeggen ara Sidi Ṛebbi belli tamusni n ddunit-agi d lehbala ?
21For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn’t know God, it was God’s good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.
21Imi at ddunit s lefhama-nsen ur ɛqilen ara tamusni n Sidi Ṛebbi, nețța yebɣa ad isellek wid yumnen yis s lexbaṛ-agi n lxiṛ i ḥesben wiyaḍ d lehbala.
22For Jews ask for signs, Greeks seek after wisdom,
22At Isṛail ssuturen lbeṛhanat, iyunaniyen țnadin tamusni ;
23but we preach Christ crucified; a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks,
23ma d nukni nețbecciṛ Lmasiḥ, win akken yețțusemmṛen ɣef wumidag, yellan d țbehdila i wat Isṛail, d lehbala ɣer iyunaniyen.
24but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
24Meɛna wid iwumi i d-yessawel Sidi Ṛebbi, ama d at Isṛail ama d iyunaniyen, umnen belli d nețța i d Lmasiḥ, i ț-țazmert n Ṛebbi akk-d tmusni-ines.
25Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
25Axaṭer ayen akken ḥesben yemdanen d lehbala n Sidi Ṛebbi, ț-țamusni iṣeḥḥan akteṛ n tmusni n yemdanen, ayen ḥesben daɣen d feccal n Sidi Ṛebbi, yeɣleb lǧehd n yemdanen.
26For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble;
26Walit ay atmaten, kunwi iwumi d-yessawel Sidi Ṛebbi : ur llin gar-awen aṭas n wid yesɛan tamusni n ddunit, ur llin aṭas n wid yesɛan imukan ɛlayen, ur llin daɣen aṭas inaṣliyen yesɛan lqima tameqqrant ;
27but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong;
27meɛna Sidi Ṛebbi yextaṛ ayen yellan d lehbala ɣer wemdan iwakken ad isneḥcam imusnawen, yextaṛ ayen ur nesɛi tazmert di ddunit iwakken ad isneḥcam wid iǧehden.
28and God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are:
28Sidi Ṛebbi yextaṛ ayen ur nesɛi azal, yețwaḥeqṛen di ddunit akk-d wayen yețwaḥesben d ulac, iwakken ad isseɣli lqima n wayen yesɛan azal ɣer yemdanen.
29that no flesh should boast before God.
29Akka, yiwen ur izmir ad izuxx zdat Sidi Ṛebbi.
30But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:
30Imi d Sidi Ṛebbi i kkun-isdukklen d Ɛisa Lmasiḥ, d nețța i ɣ-yuɣalen d lefhama i d yekkan s ɣuṛ Sidi Ṛebbi. Yis i ɣ yerra Sidi Ṛebbi d iḥeqqiyen, iṣeffa tikli-nneɣ, yefda-yaɣ-d si ddnub.
31that, according as it is written, “He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.” Jeremiah 9:24
31Am akken yura di tira iqedsen : Win yebɣan ad izuxx, ad izuxx s lecɣal n Ṛebbi.
