1Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
1Ma yella yiwen deg-wen yebɣa ad iccetki ɣef gma-s, amek ara iṛuḥ a t-icaṛeɛ zdat wid ur numin ara s Lmasiḥ, mačči zdat wid yumnen am nețța ?
2Don’t you know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
2Eɛni ur teẓrim ara d wid yumnen s Lmasiḥ ara iḥasben at ddunit ? Ma yella ihi d kunwi ara iḥasben at ddunit, amek ur tețțizmirem ara aț-țefrum timsalin timecṭuḥin ?
3Don’t you know that we will judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?
3Ur teẓrim ara belli a nḥaseb lmalayekkat ? Anda ara d-banent temsalin n ddunit-agi !
4If then, you have to judge things pertaining to this life, do you set them to judge who are of no account in the assembly?
4Ma d kunwi m'ara yili lxilaf gar-awen, tețṛuḥum ɣer wid ur numin ara s Lmasiḥ iwakken ad frun tilufa-nwen !
5I say this to move you to shame. Isn’t there even one wise man among you who would be able to decide between his brothers?
5Ur tețneḥcamem ara ! Eɛni ulac ula d yiwen n wergaz ifehmen gar awen, i gzemren ad ifru timsalin ger watmaten ?
6But brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers!
6Meɛna kunwi atan wa yețcetki ɣef wa, yerna ɣer wid ur numin ara s Lmasiḥ !
7Therefore it is already altogether a defect in you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?
7Ihi amennuɣ i d-yețțilin gar awen, ițbeggin-ed lɛib-nwen. Acuɣeṛ ur tṣebbṛem ara axiṛ ad iɛeddi fell-awen lbaṭel, acuɣeṛ ur tețțaǧǧam ara iman-nwen aț-țețțuɛerrim ?
8No, but you yourselves do wrong, and defraud, and that against your brothers.
8Meɛna d kunwi i d imesbaṭliyen, tețɛerrim wiyaḍ ɣas akken d atmaten-nwen !
9Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals,
9Eɛni ur teẓrim ara belli wid ixeddmen lbaṭel ur keččmen ara ɣer tgelda n Sidi Ṛebbi ? Ur țɣuṛṛut ara iman-nwen axaṭer kra n win yețɛicin di leḥṛam neɣ wid iɛebbden lmeṣnuɛat, wid ixeddmen zzna, at leɛṛuṛ,
10nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God.
10wid yețțakren, wid itețțen ayla n medden, wid ireggmen, ixeddaɛen akk-d isekṛanen, ur keččmen ara tagelda n Sidi Ṛebbi.
11Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.
11Akka i llan yakan kra deg-wen uqbel ad amnen. Meɛna ddnub-nwen yurad, tețwaxtaṛem iwakken aț-țilim d ayla n Sidi Ṛebbi, tuɣalem d iḥeqqiyen zdat Ṛebbi s yisem n Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ akk-d Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen n Sidi Ṛebbi, Illu-nneɣ.
12“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of anything.
12Kra deg-wen qqaṛen : « Ɣuṛ-i kullec d leḥlal », meɛna mačči d kullec i kkun-inefɛen ; zemreɣ a d-iniɣ : kullec d leḥlal ɣuṛ-i, meɛna ur țțaǧaɣ ara lḥaǧa a yi-temlek.
13“Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods,” but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
13Lqut yella-d i wɛebbuḍ, aɛebbuḍ yella-d i lqut ; a d-yas wass i deg ara ten-yessenger Sidi Ṛebbi i sin. Meɛna lǧețța ur d-tețwaxleq ara i yir tikli, tețwaxleq-ed iwakken aț-țqeddec ɣef Sidi Ṛebbi i ț-isedduyen.
14Now God raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power.
14Sidi Ṛebbi i d-yessekren Sidna Ɛisa si ger lmegtin, a ɣ-d-isseḥyu ula d nukni s tezmert-is.
15Don’t you know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!
15Ur teẓrim ara belli lǧețțat-nwen d lemfaṣel n Lmasiḥ ? Eɛni zemreɣ a d-ddmeɣ lemfaṣel n Lmasiḥ iwakken a ten-erreɣ d lemfaṣel n tmeṭṭut ixeddmen asekkak yeɛni zzna ? Ur zmireɣ ara !
16Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, “The two,” says he, “will become one flesh.” Genesis 2:24
16Ur teẓrim ara belli win ara yeznun nețța akk-d yir tameṭṭut ad yuɣal yid-es d yiwen ? Akken yura di tira iqedsen : Di sin ad uɣalen d yiwet n lǧețța.
17But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.
17Akka daɣen win ara iḥemmlen Lmasiḥ ad yili yid-es s yiwen n Ṛṛuḥ.
18Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
18Xḍut i yir tikli ! Kra n ddnub i gezmer a t-ixdem wemdan ițɣimi beṛṛa n lǧețța-s, ma d win ara ixedmen zzna yessewsex lǧețța-s.
19Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own,
19Ur teẓrim ara daɣen belli Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen yezdeɣ di lǧețțat-nwen ? Ṛṛuḥ-nni i wen-d-ițțunefken s ɣuṛ Sidi Ṛebbi ? Ur teẓrim ara belli ur tețțalasem ara deg yiman-nwen ?
20for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
20Axaṭer yella win i kkun-id-ifdan s wazal d ameqqran, ɣlayen. Ɛuzzet ihi Sidi Ṛebbi di lǧețțat-nwen.
