Kabyle: New Testament

2 Corinthians

12

1It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. For I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
1Eɛni ilaq ad zuxxeɣ ? Ayagi ur infiɛ ara ! Lameɛna a d-ḥkuɣ ɣef kra n leḥwayeǧ i yi-d-iweḥḥa Sidi Ṛebbi.
2I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago (whether in the body, I don’t know, or whether out of the body, I don’t know; God knows), such a one caught up into the third heaven.
2Ssneɣ yiwen wergaz yumnen s Lmasiḥ, yețwarfed alamma d igenni wis tlata ṛbeɛṭac iseggasen aya ; ur ẓriɣ ma yella yețwarfed nețța s yiman is neɣ d aweḥḥi kan i s-d-ițțuweḥḥa, anagar Sidi Ṛebbi i geẓran.
3I know such a man (whether in the body, or outside of the body, I don’t know; God knows),
3 ?riɣ belli argaz-agi yețwarfed ɣer lǧennet, meɛna ur ẓriɣ ma yella yețwarfed nețța s yiman-is neɣ d aweḥḥi kan i s-d-ițțuweḥḥa, anagar Sidi Ṛebbi i geẓran ; yesla i yimeslayen iwumi ur yezmir yiwen a ten-id-yini, axaṭer ur ilaq i wemdan a ten-id-iɛawed.
4how he was caught up into Paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
5Argaz am wagi zemreɣ ad zuxxeɣ yis, ma d nekk ur sɛiɣ ara s wayes ara zuxxeɣ anagar s lqella n lǧehd-iw.
5On behalf of such a one I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in my weaknesses.
6Lemmer bɣiɣ ad zuxxeɣ, ur țțiliɣ ara d amehbul axaṭer anagar tideț ara d-iniɣ ; lameɛna ad ssusmeɣ, imi ur bɣiɣ ara imdanen a yi-ssalin ccan sennig n wayen țwalin xeddmeɣ-t neɣ ayen sellen qqaṛeɣ t-id.
6For if I would desire to boast, I will not be foolish; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, so that no man may think more of me than that which he sees in me, or hears from me.
7Yenta-yi yiwen usennan s wayes i yi-țmeḥḥin Cciṭan iwakken ur ssimɣuṛeɣ ara iman-iw yerna ur țzuxxuɣ ara s uweḥḥi-nni yesteɛǧiben i yi-d-ibeggen Sidi Ṛebbi.
7By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I should not be exalted excessively.
8Tlata iberdan i dɛiɣ ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi iwakken ad issebɛed fell-i lmeḥna-agi,
8Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me.
9lameɛna yenna-yi-d : « steqneɛ kan s ṛṛeḥma-inu, axaṭer m'ara tfecleḍ imiren i d-tețban deg-k tezmert-iw ». Ihi bɣiɣ ad zuxxeɣ axiṛ s lqella n tezmert-iw iwakken tazmert n Lmasiḥ aț-țezdeɣ deg-i.
9He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
10?ef wannect-agi, feṛḥeɣ m'ara fecleɣ, m'ara iliɣ di lḥeṛs, di leqheṛ, di leḥzen, di ceddat neɣ m'ara yi-regmen ɣef ddemma n Lmasiḥ, axaṭer m'ara fecleɣ imiren i ǧehdeɣ.
10Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.
11D kunwi i yi-ḥeṛsen armi heddṛeɣ am umehbul ; d kunwi i glaqen a yi-tcekkṛem, axaṭer ɣas akken ur swiɣ acemma, ur iyi-ifen deg wacemma wid iḥețțben iman-nsen d ṛṛusul.
11I have become foolish in boasting. You compelled me, for I ought to have been commended by you, for in nothing was I inferior to the very best apostles, though I am nothing.
12Ayen akk i d-ițbegginen belli d ṛṛasul i lliɣ, yedṛa-d gar-awen : s ṣṣbeṛ ameqqran, s tezmert, s beṛhanat d licaṛat.
12Truly the signs of an apostle were worked among you in all patience, in signs and wonders and mighty works.
13D acu i xedmeɣ i tejmuyaɛ nniḍen ur wen-t-xdimeɣ ara i kunwi, anagar imi ugiɣ ad iliɣ ț-țaɛkumt fell-awen ? Semmḥet-iyi ɣef wannect agi !
13For what is there in which you were made inferior to the rest of the assemblies, unless it is that I myself was not a burden to you? Forgive me this wrong.
14Aql-iyi țedduɣ a n-aseɣ ɣuṛ wen tikkelt tis tlata, yerna ur țțiliɣ ara ț-țaɛekkumt fell-awen. Mačči d idrimen-nwen i bɣiɣ lameɛna d kunwi ; axaṭer mačči d dderya i glaqen ad jemɛen i lwaldin-nsen, lameɛna d lwaldin i glaq ad jemɛen i dderya-nsen.
14Behold, this is the third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you; for I seek not your possessions, but you. For the children ought not to save up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
15Ma d nekkini, zemreɣ ad ṣeṛṛfeɣ fell-awen seg ul ayen sɛiɣ, ad rnuɣ ad sebbleɣ ula ț-țudert-iw ɣef ddemma-nwen. Eɛni leḥmala-nwen ɣuṛ-i aț-țenqes imi i kkun-ḥemmleɣ aṭas ?
15I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more abundantly, am I loved the less?
16?-țideț ur a wen-lliɣ ara ț țaɛekkumt, lameɛna kra deg-wen qqaṛen, imi ḥeṛceɣ, ṭṭfeɣ-kkun s tḥila !
16But be it so, I did not myself burden you. But, being crafty, I caught you with deception.
17Eɛni kellxeɣ-awen mi wen-ceggɛeɣ kra seg watmaten ?
17Did I take advantage of you by anyone of them whom I have sent to you?
18Asmi ḥelleleɣ Tit a n-yas ɣuṛ-wen akk-d gma-tneɣ nniḍen, yella wayen i d-istenfeɛ seg-wen Titus ? Eɛni ur neddi ara nekk yid-es s yiwet n lɛeqliya akk d yiwet n tikli ?
18I exhorted Titus, and I sent the brother with him. Did Titus take any advantage of you? Didn’t we walk in the same spirit? Didn’t we walk in the same steps?
19Acḥal aya kunwi tɣilem nețnadi amek ara ndafeɛ ɣef yiman-nneɣ zdat-nwen. Lameɛna zdat Sidi Ṛebbi, nukni nheddeṛ-awen-d s lebɣi n Lmasiḥ. Annect-agi meṛṛa a wid eɛzizen fell-aɣ, nxeddem-it iwakken aț-țennernim di liman.
19Again, do you think that we are excusing ourselves to you? In the sight of God we speak in Christ. But all things, beloved, are for your edifying.
20Axaṭer uggadeɣ m'ara n-aseɣ ɣuṛ-wen, ur kkun-țțafeɣ ara akken bɣiɣ, kunwi daɣen ur iyi-tețțafem ara akken tenwam ; uggadeɣ a n-afeɣ gar-awen amennuɣ, tismin, zzɛaf, amḥezwer, zzux, ccwal, aqeṛṛeḍ, wid yekkaten deg wiyaḍ.
20For I am afraid that by any means, when I come, I might find you not the way I want to, and that I might be found by you as you don’t desire; that by any means there would be strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, whisperings, proud thoughts, riots;
21Uggadeɣ m'ara n-aseɣ ɣuṛ-wen, ad ssetḥiɣ yis-wen zdat Sidi Ṛebbi ; uggadeɣ ad țruɣ ɣef waṭas deg-wen iɛacen zik-nni di ddnub yerna ar ass-a ur tuben, ur rrin aḍar ɣef lefsed-nsen, ɣef yir tikli-nsen akk-d ticmatin i xeddmen.
21that again when I come my God would humble me before you, and I would mourn for many of those who have sinned before now, and not repented of the uncleanness and sexual immorality and lustfulness which they committed.
