Kabyle: New Testament

2 Peter

1

1Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained a like precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:
1Nekk Semɛun Buṭrus, d aqeddac, d amceggeɛ n Ɛisa Lmasiḥ, i wid akk yesɛan liman am nukni, s lḥeqq n Sidi Ṛebbi Illu-nneɣ akk-d umsellek nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
2Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,
2Ṛṛeḥma ț-țalwit a wen-d tețțunefkent s tugeț, s tmusni n Sidi Ṛebbi akk-d Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa.
3seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue;
3Tazmert n Sidi Ṛebbi tefka yaɣ-ed ayen akk ilaqen i tudert d ṭṭaɛa ; yis i ɣ-d-isbeggen win akken i ɣ-ixtaṛen s ṛṛeḥma-s ț-țmanegt-is.
4by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.
4Yis-sent daɣen i ɣ-d-tețțunefkent lemɛahdat yesɛan azal d ameqqran, iwakken s tmanegt-agi-ines akk-d ṛṛeḥma-s, aț-țekkim di lecɣal n Sidi Ṛebbi, aț-țbeɛdem ɣef ṭṭmeɛ ițțawin ɣer lefsad n ddunit.
5Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge;
5Ɣef ayagi, ǧehdet, ẓewṛet iwakken aț-țernum i liman-nwen tikli yeṣfan, i tikli yeṣfan tamusni ;
6and in knowledge, self-control; and in self-control patience; and in patience godliness;
6i tmusni rnut ḥekmet deg yiman nwen, ṣebṛet, i ṣṣbeṛ rnut ṭṭaɛa,
7and in godliness brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love.
7i ṭṭaɛa tagmaț, i tegmaț leḥmala.
8For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
8Ma yella wannect-agi deg-wen s tugeț, ur tețțilim ara d imeɛdazen, yerna ur tețɣimim ara mbla tamusni n Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
9For he who lacks these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.
9Ma d win ixuṣṣen deg wannect-agi, am uderɣal isferfuden, ur ițwali ara, ițțu akk ddnubat-is iɛeddan i s-isemmeḥ Sidi Ṛebbi.
10Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble.
10Ay atmaten, ẓewṛet, sǧehdet iman-nwen deg wannect-agi imi d Sidi Ṛebbi i wen-d-issawlen, d nețța i kkun-ixtaṛen. Ma txedmem ayagi, ur tɣellim ara.
11For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
11S wakka daɣen ara wen-teldi tewwurt iwakken aț-țkecmem ɣer tgeldit ițdumun n Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ, amsellek-nneɣ.
12Therefore I will not be negligent to remind you of these things, though you know them, and are established in the present truth.
12A wen-d-țɛawadeɣ dayem annect-agi meṛṛa ɣas akken tesnem tideț-agi yerna teṭṭfem deg-s.
13I think it right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by reminding you;
13Skud mazal-iyi ddreɣ, ilaq-iyi a kkun-nhuɣ iwakken ur tɣeflem ara.
14knowing that the putting off of my tent comes swiftly, even as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.
14Axaṭer ẓriɣ belli qṛib ad ṛuḥeɣ si ddunit-agi, am akken i yi-d-ixebbeṛ Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ ;
15Yes, I will make every effort that you may always be able to remember these things even after my departure.
15daymi i xeddmeɣ ayen iwumi zemreɣ iwakken ɣas mmuteɣ, a d-temmektim ayen akk i wen slemdeɣ.
16For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
16Mačči ț-țimucuha i wen-d newwi mi i wen-d-neḥka ɣef tezmert n Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ ț-țuɣalin-is, meɛna s wallen-nneɣ i nwala tamanegt-is.
17For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
17Nella yid-es asm' akken i s-d isbeggen Baba Ṛebbi ccan ț-țezmert, asm' akken i d-inṭeq Bab n tmanegt s imeslayen-agi : Wagi d Mmi eɛzizen deg-s i gella lfeṛḥ-iw.
18We heard this voice come out of heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain.
18Sṣut-agi i d-ikkan seg igenni, nesla-yas s yiman-nneɣ mi nella yid-es deg udrar iqedsen,
19We have the more sure word of prophecy; and you do well that you heed it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns, and the morning star arises in your hearts:
19yerna numen s wayen i ɣ-d xebbṛen lenbiya di tira iqedsen belli ț-țideț ; nenha-kkun aț-țerrem ddehn nwen ɣuṛ-sent, axaṭer ț-țaftilt iceɛlen di ṭṭlam alamma yuli wass, alamma ifeǧǧeǧ yitri n ṣṣbeḥ deg ulawen nwen.
20knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation.
20Uqbel kullec, ẓret belli imeslayen akk i d-nnan lenbiya, yuran di tektabt iqedsen, ur d-kkin ara s ɣuṛ-sen ;
21For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.
21axaṭeṛ ulac ayen i d-xebbṛen s tmusni-nsen nutni, meɛna s tezmert n Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen i d-nnan imeslayen i d-ikkan s ɣuṛ Sidi Ṛebbi.
