Kabyle: New Testament

Acts

11

1Now the apostles and the brothers who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
1Ṛṛusul d watmaten yellan di tmurt n Yahuda slan belli ula d leǧnas ur nelli ara n wat Isṛail qeblen awal n Ṛebbi.
2When Peter had come up to Jerusalem, those who were of the circumcision contended with him,
2Mi guɣal Butṛus ɣer temdint n Lquds, at Isṛail yumnen s Ɛisa Lmasiḥ ur ten-iɛǧib ara lḥal ; lummen fell-as, nnan-as :
3saying, “You went in to uncircumcised men, and ate with them!”
3Amek armi tkecmeḍ ɣer wexxam n wid ur neḍhiṛ ara yerna teččiḍ yid-sen ?
4But Peter began, and explained to them in order, saying,
4Dɣa Butṛus yebda a sen-d-iḥekku ayen akk yedṛan, yenna-yasen :
5“I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision: a certain container descending, like it was a great sheet let down from heaven by four corners. It came as far as me.
5Mi lliɣ di temdint n Jafa, lliɣ deɛɛuɣ ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi ; taswiɛt kan, iṛuḥ leɛqel-iw, iweḥḥa-yi-d Sidi Ṛebbi , walaɣ taẓeṛbit tameqqrant tcudd si ṛebɛa n tɣemmaṛ, tețṣubbu-d seg igenni, tewweḍ-ed armi d ɣuṛ-i.
6When I had looked intently at it, I considered, and saw the four-footed animals of the earth, wild animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky.
6Reṣṣaɣ allen-iw fell-as, walaɣ deg-s mkul ṣṣifa n lewḥuc at ṛebɛa idaṛṛen d wid iteddun ɣef wuɛebbuḍ akk-d yefṛax n igenni n mkul ṣṣenf.
7I also heard a voice saying to me, ‘Rise, Peter, kill and eat!’
7Dɣa sliɣ i yiwen n ṣṣut i yi-d iqqaṛen : a Buṭrus ! Ekker, ezlu teččeḍ !
8But I said, ‘Not so, Lord, for nothing unholy or unclean has ever entered into my mouth.’
8Lameɛna nniɣ-as : ala a Sidi ! Leɛmeṛ yekcim ɣer yimi-w wayen iḥeṛmen neɣ wayen ur neṣfi.
9But a voice answered me the second time out of heaven, ‘What God has cleansed, don’t you call unclean.’
9Tikkelt tis snat, ṣṣut-nni i d-yusan seg igenni yenna-yi-d : ayen iḥseb Sidi Ṛebbi d leḥlal, ur k-id iṣaḥ ara a t-tḥesbeḍ d leḥṛam !
10This was done three times, and all were drawn up again into heaven.
10Ayagi yedṛa-d tlata n tikkal, dɣa kullec ițwarfed ɣer igenni.
11Behold, immediately three men stood before the house where I was, having been sent from Caesarea to me.
11Imiren kan wwḍen-d tlata yergazen ɣer wexxam i deg lliɣ, țwaceggɛen-d ɣuṛ-i si temdint n Qiṣarya.
12The Spirit told me to go with them, without discriminating. These six brothers also accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house.
12Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen yenna-yi-d : ddu kan yid-sen ur țțaggad ara. Wwiɣ yid-i sețța watmaten-agi i tețwalim, dɣa nṛuḥ.
13He told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house, and saying to him, ‘Send to Joppa, and get Simon, whose surname is Peter,
13Nekcem ɣer wexxam n Kurnilyus, yeḥka-yaɣ-d ayen i s yenna lmelk n Sidi Ṛebbi i d ibedden ɣuṛ-es, mi s-yenna : ceggeɛ ɣer temdint n Jafa a d-awin Semɛun ițusemman Butṛus,
14who will speak to you words by which you will be saved, you and all your house.’
14a k-d-yini amek ara tețwasellkeḍ kečč d wat wexxam-ik.
15As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, even as on us at the beginning.
15Mi bdiɣ ameslay, Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen yers-ed fell-asen, akken i d-yers fell-aɣ ass amezwaru.
16I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit.’
16Imiren mmektaɣ-ed awal-nni i d-yenna Sidna Ɛisa : « Yeḥya isseɣḍas deg aman, lameɛna kunwi aț-țețwaɣeḍsem di Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen. »
17If then God gave to them the same gift as us, when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I, that I could withstand God?”
17Ihi imi sen-d yefka Sidi Ṛebbi tikci am nukkni yumnen s Sidna Ɛisa Lmasiḥ, d acu-yi nekk iwakken ad xalfeɣ lebɣi n Sidi Ṛebbi ?
18When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life!”
18Mi slan i wannect-nni, yethedden wul-nsen, ḥemden Ṛebbi nnan : A neḥmed Sidi Ṛebbi i geldin abrid n țțuba ula i wat leǧnas ur nelli ara n wat Isṛail, iwakken ad sɛun tudert !
19They therefore who were scattered abroad by the oppression that arose about Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except to Jews only.
19Asmi gemmut Stifan, yekker uqehheṛ i gessemfaṛaqen inelmaden ɣer mkul amkan ; ṛuḥen armi ț-țamurt n Finisya, armi ț-țigzirt n Qubṛus ț-țemdint n Antyuc, țbecciṛen awal n Ṛebbi i wat Isṛail kan ;
20But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists, preaching the Lord Jesus.
20lameɛna llan gar-asen kra n yergazen n tegzirt n Qubṛus akk-d kra nniḍen n temdint n Qiṛwan, usan-d ɣer temdint n Antyuc, țmeslayen i iyunaniyen, țbecciṛen-asen lexbaṛ n lxiṛ yeɛnan Sidna Ɛisa.
21The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.
21Tazmert n Sidi Ṛebbi tețțili yid-sen ; aṭas n yemdanen i gumnen beddlen tikli, tebɛen abrid n Sidna Ɛisa.
22The report concerning them came to the ears of the assembly which was in Jerusalem. They sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch,
22Mi gewweḍ lexbaṛ-agi ɣer tejmaɛt n watmaten n temdint n Lquds, ceggɛen Barnabas armi d Antyuc.
23who, when he had come, and had seen the grace of God, was glad. He exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they should remain near to the Lord.
23Mi gewweḍ, iwala ayen i texdem dinna ṛṛeḥma n Sidi Ṛebbi dɣa yeččuṛ d lfeṛḥ. Yenha-ten akk iwakken ad ṭṭfen seg wul di liman sɛan di Lmasiḥ.
24For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith, and many people were added to the Lord.
24Axaṭer Barnabas d argaz ixeddmen lxiṛ, iččuṛ d Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen akk-d liman. S wakka, aṭas n yemdanen i d-yernan ɣer Sidna Ɛisa.
25Barnabas went out to Tarsus to look for Saul.
25Barnabas iṛuḥ ɣer temdint n Sars iwakken ad inadi ɣef Caɛul.
26When he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. It happened, that for a whole year they were gathered together with the assembly, and taught many people. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
26Mi t-yufa, yewwi-t-id yid-es ɣer temdint n Antyuc. Di tejmaɛt-nni, sɛeddan aseggas kamel, xeddmen s tdukli, sselmaden aṭas n yemdanen. Di temdint n Antyuc ițțusemman inelmaden n Sidna Ɛisa tikkelt tamezwarut : « imasiḥiyen »
27Now in these days, prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
27Deg ussan-nni, ṣubben-d kra n lenbiya si temdint n Lquds ɣer temdint n Antyuc.
28One of them named Agabus stood up, and indicated by the Spirit that there should be a great famine all over the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius.
28Yiwen seg-sen isem-is Agabus, ikker icar-ed s Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen belli a d-yeɣli laẓ d ameqqran di ddunit meṛṛa ; ț-țideț, laẓ-agi yeɣli-d di zzman n ugellid ameqqran : Kludyus
29As any of the disciples had plenty, each determined to send relief to the brothers who lived in Judea;
29Inelmaden n temdint n Antyuc, msefhamen belli mkul yiwen deg-sen a d-yefk ayen iwumi yezmer, iwakken ad ɛiwnen atmaten izedɣen di tmurt n Yahuda.
30which they also did, sending it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.
30D ayen i xedmen ; ceggɛen Barnabas d Caɛul ad awin i imeqqranen n tejmaɛin n tmurt n Yahuda, ayen akk i d-jemɛen.
