1It happened when Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan.
1Mi gekfa lewṣayat-agi, Sidna Ɛisa iṛuḥ si tmurt n Jlili ɣer tmurt n Yahuda ɣer leǧwahi n wasif n Urdun.
2Great multitudes followed him, and he healed them there.
2Aṭas n lɣaci i t-iḍefṛen ɣer dinna, dɣa yesseḥla wid akk ihelken.
3Pharisees came to him, testing him, and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
3Kra ifariziyen qeṛṛben-d ɣuṛ-es iwakken a t-jeṛben, nnan-as : Eɛni ccariɛa-nneɣ tsumeḥ-as i wergaz ad yebru i tmeṭṭut-is ɣef yal sebba yellan ?
4He answered, “Haven’t you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, Genesis 1:27
4Yerra-yasen : Ur teɣṛim ara ayen i d-teqqaṛ ccariɛa : di tazwara Sidi Ṛebbi ixleq-ed argaz ț-țmeṭṭut,
5 and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?’ Genesis 2:24
5yenna-d : AArgaz ad yeǧǧ baba-s d yemma-s, iiwakken ad iɛic nețța ț-țmeṭṭut-is, ddɣa di sin yid-sen, ad uɣalen d yiwen.
6 So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.”
6S wakka ur llin ara d sin, meɛna uɣalen d yiwen. Ur as-ilaq ara ihi i wemdan ad ifṛeq ayen yesdukkel Sidi Ṛebbi !
7They asked him, “Why then did Moses command us to give her a bill of divorce, and divorce her?”
7Nnan-as : Acuɣeṛ ihi Sidna Musa yeǧǧa yaɣ-d lqanun belli m'ara yebru wergaz i tmeṭṭut-is, a s-yefk lkaɣeḍ n berru ?
8He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.
8Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : Ɣef ddemma n wulawen-nwen yeqquṛen i wen-iserreḥ nnbi Musa aț-țebrum i tilawin-nwen. Meɛna di tazwara mačči akka i gella lḥal.
9 I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery.”
9Ma d nekk a wen-d-iniɣ : kra n win ara yebrun i tmeṭṭut-is yili ur tezni ara, iwakken ad yaɣ tayeḍ, d nețța i geznan !
10His disciples said to him, “If this is the case of the man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.”
10Inelmaden nnan-as : Ma yella akka i d lḥala n wergaz ɣer tmeṭṭut, ulac lfayda di zzwaǧ !
11But he said to them, “Not all men can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.
11Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : Mačči d imdanen meṛṛa i gzemren ad qeblen aselmed agi lameɛna anagar wid iwumi i d-ifka Sidi Ṛebbi lefhama i gzemren ad qeblen annect-agi.
12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven’s sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it.”
12Aṭas n sebbat i gqeḍɛen zzwaǧ i wemdan. Llan wid i d-ilulen si tɛebbuṭ n yemma-tsen ur sɛin ara ddunit, wiyaḍ d imdanen i sen-ț-ikksen. LLlan daɣen wid iḥeṛmen iman-nsen ɣef zwaǧ, ɣef ddemma n tgelda n igenwan. Win i gzemren ad ifhem aselmed agi a t-yefhem !
13Then little children were brought to him, that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.

14But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”
14Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen : Anfet-asen i warrac a d-asen ɣuṛ-i, ur sen-qeṭṭɛet ara abrid, axaṭer tagelda n igenwan thegga i nutni akk-d wid yellan am nutni !
15He laid his hands on them, and departed from there.

16Behold, one came to him and said, “Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”
16Imiren yiwen wergaz iqeṛṛeb-ed ɣer Sidna Ɛisa, yenna-yas : A Sidi, d acu i yi-ilaqen a t xedmeɣ n wayen yelhan iwakken ad sɛuɣ tudert n dayem ?
17He said to him, “Why do you call me good? So MT and TR. NU reads “Why do you ask me about what is good?” No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
17Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yas : Acuɣeṛ i yi-testeqsayeḍ ɣef wayen yelhan ? AAnagar yiwen i gelhan ! Ma tebɣiḍ aț-țesɛuḍ tudert-agi, xdem lumuṛat yellan di ccariɛa. YYerra-yas-ed weqcic-nni : Anwi i d lumuṛat ara tebɛeɣ ?
18He said to him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’
18Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yas : Ur tneqqeḍ ara tamgeṛṭ, ur tzennuḍ ara, ur tețțcehhideḍ ara s ẓẓur, ur tețțakkṛreḍ ara,
19 ‘Honor your father and mother.’ Exodus 20:12-16; Deuteronomy 5:16-20 And, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” Leviticus 19:18
19qadeṛ baba-k d yemma-k, tḥemmleḍ lɣiṛ-ik am yiman-ik !
20The young man said to him, “All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”
20Aqcic-nni yerra-yas-ed : Ayagi akk xedmeɣ-t, d acu i yi-ixuṣṣen ?
21Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
21Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yas : Ma tebɣiḍ ihi aț-țkemleḍ deg webrid n Sidi Ṛebbi , ṛuḥ, zzenz akk ayen i tesɛiḍ, tefkeḍ idrimen-nni i yimeɣban, s wakka aț-țesɛuḍ agerruj deg igenwan ! Imiren as-ed, aț-țedduḍ yid-i.
22But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.

23Jesus said to his disciples, “Most certainly I say to you, a rich man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven with difficulty.
23Sidna Ɛisa yenna i inelmaden-is : A wen-iniɣ s tideț : iwɛeṛ aṭas i umeṛkanti ad ikcem ɣer tgelda n igenwan !
24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.”
24A wen-iniɣ daɣen : ma yella iwɛeṛ i welɣem ad iɛeddi di tiṭ n tissegnit, iwɛeṛ akteṛ i umeṛkanti ad ikcem ɣer tgelda n igenwan !
25When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”
25Mi slan i imeslayen-agi, inelmaden-is dehcen aṭas, nnan-as : Anwa i gzemren ad ițțusellek ihi ?
26Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
26Dɣa Sidna Ɛisa imuqel-iten, yenna : Imdanen s yiman-nsen ur zmiren ara, meɛna Sidi Ṛebbi yezmer i kullec.
27Then Peter answered, “Behold, we have left everything, and followed you. What then will we have?”

28Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
28Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : A wen-iniɣ s tideț, asm'ara d-ḥyun lmegtin ɣer ddunit tajḍiṭ, asm'ara yeqqim Mmi-s n bunadem ɣef wukersi n lḥekma di lɛaḍima-s, ula d kunwi yeddan yid-i, aț-țeqqimem di tnac yid-wen ɣef yikersiyen n lḥekma iwakken aț-țḥasbem tnac n leɛṛac n wat Isṛail.
29 Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.
29Yerna, kra win ara yeǧǧen ɣef ddemma n yisem-iw axxam-is neɣ atmaten-is, yessetma-s neɣ baba-s, yemma-s, arraw-is neɣ tiferkiwin-is, ad as-d-yețțunefk akteṛ n wayen yeǧǧa, yerna a t-id-tṣaḥ tudert n dayem.
30 But many will be last who are first; and first who are last.
