1Jesus answered and spoke again in parables to them, saying,
1Sidna Ɛisa imeslay-asen-d daɣen s lemtel, yenna-yasen : --
2 “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son,
2Tagelda n igenwan tcuba ɣer yiwen ugellid i gxedmen tameɣṛa i mmi-s.
3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the marriage feast, but they would not come.
3Iceggeɛ iqeddacen-is ad ssiwlen i wid yețwaɛeṛden, meɛna ugin a d-asen.
4 Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage feast!”’
4Yerna iceggeɛ-asen iqeddacen nniḍen a sen-inin : Heggaɣ imensi, zliɣ izgaren-iw d wakraren-iw, kullec ihegga, aset-ed ɣer tmeɣṛa !
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise,
5Meɛna widak-nni ițwaɛeṛḍen ur s-fkin ara azal, yal yiwen yelha d ccɣel-is, wa iṛuḥ ɣer yiger-is, wa ɣer ssuq-is.
6 and the rest grabbed his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.
6Wiyaḍ ṭṭfen iqeddacen-nni, regmen-ten, nɣan-ten.
7 When the king heard that, he was angry, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
7Agellid-nni ikcem-it zzɛaf d ameqqran, dɣa iceggeɛ lɛeskeṛ-is nɣan iqettalen-nni, sseṛɣen tamdint-nsen.
8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited weren’t worthy.
8Imiren yenna i iqeddacen-is : Imensi n tmeɣṛa ihegga, meɛna widak-nni ițwaɛeṛḍen ur t-uklalen ara ;
9 Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the marriage feast.’
9ṛuḥet ɣer izenqan, tɛeṛḍem-d ɣer tmeɣṛa wid akk ara tafem deg iberdan.
10 Those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests.
10Iqeddacen-nni ṛuḥen ɣer izenqan jemɛen-d wid akk ufan, ama d amcum ama d win yelhan, s wakka axxam n tmeɣṛa yeččuṛ-ed d lɣaci.
11 But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who didn’t have on wedding clothing,
11Mi d-ikcem ugellid ad iwali inebgawen, iwala yiwen wergaz ur yelsi ara llebsa n tmeɣṛa.
12 and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?’ He was speechless.
12yenna-yas : Ay amdakkel, amek i d-tkecmeḍ ɣer dagi mbla llebsa n tmeɣṛa yețwaheggan i yinebgawen ? AArgaz-nni yessusem, ur yufi d acu ara s-yini.
13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.’
13Agellid-nni yefka lameṛ i iqeddacen-is yenna-yasen : Cuddet-as ifassen d iḍaṛṛen, tḍeggṛem-t ɣer ṭṭlam n beṛṛa, anda llan imeṭṭawen d nndama tameqqrant.
14 For many are called, but few chosen.”
14Axaṭer aṭas i gețwaɛerḍen, meɛna drus ara yețwaqeblen.
15Then the Pharisees went and took counsel how they might entrap him in his talk.
15Imiren ṛuḥen ifariziyen ad mcawaṛen amek ara d-sseɣlin Sidna Ɛisa deg wawal.
16They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter whom you teach, for you aren’t partial to anyone.
16Ceggɛen-as kra seg inelmaden-nsen akk-d kra si terbaɛt n Hiṛudus, nnan-as : A Sidi, neẓra-k d bab n lḥeqq i telliḍ, tesselmadeḍ iberdan n Ṛebbi s tideț, ur tuggadeḍ ula d yiwen, ur txeddmeḍ ara lxilaf ger yemdanen.
17Tell us therefore, what do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”
17Ini-yaɣ-d ihi d acu twalaḍ : d leḥlal neɣ d leḥṛam a nxelleṣ tabzert ( leɣṛama ) i ugellid Qayṣar (yestɛemṛen tamurt-nneɣ) ?
18But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, “Why do you test me, you hypocrites?
18Meɛna Sidna Ɛisa yeẓran ayen i țxemmimen, yenna-yasen : Ay at sin wudmawen ! Acuɣeṛ tebɣam a yi-tjeṛbem ?
19 Show me the tax money.” They brought to him a denarius.
19Seknet-iyi-d aṣurdi s wacu țxelliṣen tabzert ! FFkan-as-d aṣurdi n lfeṭṭa.
20He asked them, “Whose is this image and inscription?”
20Dɣa isteqsa-ten : Udem akk-d tira yellan deg uṣuṛdi-agi, wi ten-ilan ?
21They said to him, “Caesar’s.” Then he said to them, “Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
21Rran-as : N Qayṣer ! IImiren yenna-yasen : Erret ihi i Qayṣer ayen yellan n Qayṣer, terrem i Ṛebbi ayen yellan n Ṛebbi !
22When they heard it, they marveled, and left him, and went away.
22Mi slan i imeslayen-agi, wehmen, dɣa ṛuḥen ǧǧan-t.
23On that day Sadducees (those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him,
23Ass-nni, isaduqiyen i gellan d imdanen ur nețțamen ara s ḥeggu n lmegtin, usan-d ɣer Sidna Ɛisa, steqsan-t, nnan-as :
24saying, “Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed for his brother.’
24A Sidi, Sidna Musa yenna-d : ma yella yemmut wergaz d amengur, ilaq gma-s ad yaɣ taǧǧalt-nni iwakken a d-isɛu yid-es dderya ara iweṛten gma-s-nni yemmuten.
25Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no seed left his wife to his brother.
25Yuɣ lḥal llan ɣuṛ-nneɣ sebɛa watmaten, amezwaru izewǧen yemmut ur d-yeǧǧi dderya, dɣa gma-s yerra ( yuɣa ) tameṭṭut-nni.
26In the same way, the second also, and the third, to the seventh.
26Akkenni i tedṛa d wis sin, d wis tlata, armi d wis sebɛa.
27After them all, the woman died.
27Mi mmuten irkulli, temmut ula ț-țameṭṭut-nni ;
28In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her.”
28ass n ḥeggu n lmegtin anwa deg-sen ara ț-yesɛun ț-țameṭṭut-is imi i ț-uɣen di sebɛa yid-sen ?
29But Jesus answered them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
29Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : Tɣelṭem ! Axaṭer ur tefhimem tira iqedsen, ur tessinem tazmert n Ṛebbi.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like God’s angels in heaven.
30Ass n ḥeggu n lmegtin, irgazen ț-țilawin ur zeggjen ara, meɛna ad uɣalen am lmalayekkat deg igenni.
31 But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven’t you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,
31Ɣef wayen yeɛnan ḥeggu n lmegtin, ur teɣṛim ara acu i d-yenna Sidi Ṛebbi ? :
32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?’ Exodus 3:6 God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”
32D nekk i d Illu n Ibṛahim, n Isḥaq, n Yeɛqub. Sidi Ṛebbi mačči d Ṛebbi n lmegtin, meɛna d Ṛebbi n wid yeddren.
33When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
33Mi s-slan, lɣaci qqimen țweḥḥiden deg imeslayen-is !
34But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, gathered themselves together.
34Mi slan ifariziyen belli Sidna Ɛisa yeɣleb isaduqiyen deg wawal, nnejmaɛen wway gar-asen.
35One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him.
35Yiwen seg-sen d lɛalem n ccariɛa, isteqsa-t iwakken a t-ijeṛṛeb :
36“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?”
36A Sidi, anwa i d lameṛ ameqqran meṛṛa di ccariɛa ?
37Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ Deuteronomy 6:5
37Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yas : -- Aț-țḥemleḍ Illu Sidi Ṛebbi-inek seg wul-ik, s teṛwiḥt-ik, s wayen yellan di tezmert-ik.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
38D wagi i d lameṛ yellan d amezwaru yerna d ameqqran akk di ccariɛa.
39 A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ Leviticus 19:18
39Atan wayeḍ yesɛan azal annect umezwaru-agi : Aț-țḥemleḍ lɣiṛ-ik am yiman-ik.
40 The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”
40D sin lumuṛat-agi i d lsas n ccariɛa akk-d lenbiya.
41Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,
41Mi llan ifariziyen nnejmaɛen, Sidna Ɛisa isteqsa-ten yenna :
42saying, “What do you think of the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “Of David.”
42D acu ara d-tinim ɣef Lmasiḥ ? Ansi ara d-yekk, yeɛni anwi i d lejdud-is ? NNnan-as : D mmi-s n Sidna Dawed.
43He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,
43Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen : Amek ihi i s-isemma Dawed s tezmert n Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen « Sidi » mi genna :
44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord, sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet?’ Psalm 110:1
44Sidi Ṛebbi yenna i Ssid-iw : ṭṭef amkan ɣer tama-w tayeffust, alamma rriɣ iɛdawen-ik seddaw iḍaṛṛen-ik.
45 “If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”
45Ma yella ihi Dawed yessawel-as « Sidi » amek ara yili ihi d mmi-s ?
46No one was able to answer him a word, neither did any man dare ask him any more questions from that day forth.
46Yiwen deg-sen ur izmir a s-d yerr awal, seg wass-nni țțaggaden a t-steqsin.
