1I saw a mighty angel coming down out of the sky, clothed with a cloud. A rainbow was on his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
1Walaɣ daɣen yiwen lmelk nniḍen iǧehden, iṣubb-ed seg igenni, tețțel-it-id tagut ; tislit n wanẓar tezzi ɣef wuqeṛṛuy-is, udem-is yețfeǧǧiǧ am yiṭij, iḍaṛṛen-is am iḥeǧǧuǧa n tmes.
2He had in his hand a little open book. He set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the land.
2Yeṭṭef deg ufus-is yiwet tektabt tamecṭuḥt yeldin. Yessers aḍar-is ayeffus ɣef lebḥeṛ, ma d aḍar azelmaḍ yessers-it ɣef lqaɛa,
3He cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. When he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.
3iɛeggeḍ s taɣect ɛlayen am akken d izem i gesreɛreɛen. Mi gesreɛreɛ lmelk-nni, nesla i useqseq n tuɣac n sebɛa ṛṛɛudat.
4When the seven thunders sounded, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from the sky saying, “Seal up the things which the seven thunders said, and don’t write them.”
4Mi sliɣ i tuɣac n sebɛa ṛɛudat nni țedduɣ ad aruɣ ayen i d-nnan, lameɛna sliɣ i yiwet taɣect i d-yekkan seg igenni tenna-yi-d : Eǧǧ di lbaḍna ayen akka i d-nnan sebɛa ṛɛudat-agi, ur tețțaru ara.
5The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to the sky,
5Lmelk-nni i walaɣ ibedd ɣef lebḥeṛ akk-d lqaɛa, yerfed afus-is ayeffus ɣer igenni,
6and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there will no longer be delay,
6 yeggul s Win yeddren si lǧil ɣer lǧil , Win i d-ixelqen igenni, lqaɛa d lebḥeṛ d wayen yellan deg-sen, a d-yedṛu kullec mbla leɛḍil.
7but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as he declared to his servants, the prophets.
7M'ara d-yaweḍ wass i deg ara nsel i ṣṣut n lbuq n lmelk wis sebɛa, imiren kra wayen yellan di lbaḍna n Sidi Ṛebbi ad yețwakemmel akken i t-id yenna i lenbiya.
8The voice which I heard from heaven, again speaking with me, said, “Go, take the book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.”
8Taɣect-nni i d-yekkan seg igenni, terna tenna-yi-d : Ṛuḥ, eddem-ed taktabt tamecṭuḥt yeldin deg ufus n lmelk-nni ibedden ɣef lqaɛa d lebḥeṛ.
9I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. He said to me, “Take it, and eat it up. It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”
9Ṛuḥeɣ ɣer lmelk-nni, ssutreɣ-as a yi-d-yefk taktabt-nni tamecṭuḥt. Yenna-yi-d : Eddem-iț, sebleɛ-iț ; deg imi-k aț-țili ț-țaẓidant am tammemt, meɛna m'ara taweḍ ɣer uɛebbuḍ-ik, aț-țuɣal ț-țarẓagant.
10I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. When I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.
10 Eddmeɣ-d taktabt-nni tamecṭuḥt seg ufus n lmelk iwakken aț-țeččeɣ, mi ț-greɣ deg imi-w ufiɣ-ț ț-țaẓidant, lameɛna mi tewweḍ ɣer uɛebbuḍ-iw, ččuṛen iẓerman-iw ț-țeṛzeg.
11They told me, “You must prophesy again over many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.”
11Nnan-iyi-d : Ilaq aț-țcireḍ daɣen ɣef wayen twalaḍ i waṭas n yegduden d leǧnas d igelliden n mkul tutlayt.
