2 Chronicles

30

1Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of Yahweh at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel.
1Li rey Ezequías quixtakla li hu riqßuineb chixjunileb li ralal xcßajol laj Israel ut eb laj Judá ut quixtakla ajcuiß resil riqßuineb chixjunileb li ralal xcßajol laj Efraín ut laj Manasés. Quixbokeb chixjunileb Jerusalén saß lix templo li Kâcuaß re nak teßxbânu li nînkße Pascua re xlokßoninquil li Kâcuaß lix Dioseb laj Israel.
2For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the assembly in Jerusalem, to keep the Passover in the second month.
2Li rey ac x-âtinac riqßuineb li nequeßtenkßan re ut riqßuineb li chßutchßûqueb aran Jerusalén ut queßxcßûb ru nak teßxbânu li ninkße saß li xcab po,
3For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves in sufficient number, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
3xban nak incßaß queßru xbânunquil li ninkße saß xkßehil xban nak moco nabaleb ta laj tij li queßxsantobresi ribeb chiru li Kâcuaß ut chixjunileb li tenamit incßaß queßxchßutub ribeb aran Jerusalén.
4The thing was right in the eyes of the king and of all the assembly.
4Li rey quixcßul xchßôl joß eb ajcuiß chixjunileb li tenamit li chßutchßûqueb aran xbânunquil li nînkße.
5So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem: for they had not kept it in great numbers in such sort as it is written.
5Joßcan nak queßxcßûb ru nak teßxtakla resil saß chixjunil li naßajej Israel naticla chak saß li naßajej Beerseba nacuulac toj saß li naßajej Dan re nak teßchâlk Jerusalén chixninkßeinquil li Pascua re xlokßoninquil li Kâcuaß lix Dioseb laj Israel. Queßxbânu chi joßcan xban nak ac junxil chic incßaß queßxninkßei li Pascua joß tzßîbanbil retalil.
6So the couriers went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, “You children of Israel, turn again to Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that he may return to the remnant that have escaped of you out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
6Li rey ut eb li nequeßtenkßan re queßxtaklaheb lix takl saß chixjunil li naßajej Israel ut Judá. Queßxcßam li hu li quixye chi joßcaßin: —Lâex aj Israel, sukßinkex riqßuin li Kâcuaß lix Dioseb laj Abraham, laj Isaac, ut laj Israel re nak li Dios tâsukßîk cuißchic êriqßuin lâex li joß qßuial chic quexcoleß saß rukß lix reyeb laj Asiria.
7Don’t be like your fathers, and like your brothers, who trespassed against Yahweh, the God of their fathers, so that he gave them up to desolation, as you see.
7Mêbânu joß queßxbânu eb lê xeßtônil yucuaß ut eb lê rechßalal li queßxkßetkßeti ribeb chiru li Kâcuaß lix Dioseb lê xeßtônil yucuaß. Li Dios quixkßaxtesiheb chi sachecß xban li cßaßru queßxbânu joß yôquex chirilbal anakcuan.
8Now don’t be stiff-necked, as your fathers were; but yield yourselves to Yahweh, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified forever, and serve Yahweh your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you.
8Mêcacuubresi lê chßôl chiru li Kâcuaß joß queßxbânu lê xeßtônil yucuaß. Cubsihomak ban êrib chiru li Kâcuaß. Quimkex saß lix templo li quixsantobresi chi junelic. Chelokßoni li Kâcuaß re nak tâêlk lix joskßil saß êbên.
9For if you turn again to Yahweh, your brothers and your children shall find compassion before those who led them captive, and shall come again into this land: for Yahweh your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.”
9Cui texsukßîk riqßuin li Kâcuaß, teßuxtânâk ruheb lê rechßalal ut eb lê ralal êcßajol xbaneb li queßcßamoc reheb chi prêxil ut teßsukßik cuißchic saß li naßajej aßin xban nak li Kâcuaß lê Dios, aßan na-uxtânan u ut natokßoban u. Incßaß textzßektâna cui texsukßîk cuißchic riqßuin, chan li rey saß li hu li quixtakla.
10So the couriers passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, even to Zebulun: but they ridiculed them, and mocked them.
10Eb li takl queßcôeb saß li junjûnk chi tenamit saß eb li naßajej li cuanqueb cuiß li ralal xcßajol laj Efraín ut laj Manasés. Queßcuulac toj saß li naßajej li cuanqueb cuiß li ralal xcßajol laj Zabulón. Eb li tenamit incßaß queßabin chiruheb. Yôqueb chixhobbal ut yôqueb chixseßenquil.
11Nevertheless certain men of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
11Abanan cuanqueb ajcuiß li tenamit li queßxcubsi ribeb saß xyânkeb li ralal xcßajol laj Aser, laj Manasés ut laj Zabulón. Eb aßan queßcôeb Jerusalén.
12Also on Judah came the hand of God to give them one heart, to do the commandment of the king and of the princes by the word of Yahweh.
12Ut li Kâcuaß quitenkßan reheb li cuanqueb Judá re nak junaj lix chßôleb chixbânunquil li cßaßru queßxye li rey ut eb li nequeßtenkßan re joß quixye li râtin li Kâcuaß.
13Many people assembled at Jerusalem to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great assembly.
13Ut kßaxal nabaleb queßxchßutub ribeb Jerusalén saß li ninkße nak queßxcuaß li caxlan cua li mâcßaß xchßamal saß li xcab po.
14They arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.

15Then they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought burnt offerings into the house of Yahweh.
15Saß li câlaju xbe li xcab po queßxcamsi li carner re li ninkße Pascua. Cßajoß nak queßxutânac eb laj tij ut eb laj levita. Joßcan nak queßxsantobresi ribeb ut queßxcßam lix cßatbil mayej saß lix templo li Kâcuaß.
16They stood in their place after their order, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood which they received of the hand of the Levites.
16Queßoc cuißchic chi cßanjelac saß li templo joß tzßîbanbil saß lix chakßrab laj Moisés laj cßanjel chiru li Dios. Ut eb laj levita queßxnumsi xquiqßuel li carner reheb laj tij. Ut eb laj tij queßxrachrachi chiru li artal.
17For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves: therefore the Levites were in charge of killing the Passovers for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to Yahweh.
17Nabaleb li tenamit toj mâjiß nequeßxsantobresi ribeb. Joßcan nak eb laj levita queßxcamsiheb li mayej xul re li Pascua saß xcßabaßeb li toj mâjiß nequeßxsantobresi ribeb ut queßxkßaxtesiheb chiru li Kâcuaß.
18For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise than it is written. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, “May the good Yahweh pardon everyone
18Nabaleb li tenamit li queßchal chak saß lix naßajeb li ralal xcßajol laj Efraín, laj Manasés, laj Isacar ut laj Zabulón incßaß queßxsantobresi ribeb re teßcuaßak saß li nînkße Pascua. Abanan, queßcuaßac saß li ninkße Pascua, usta tzßîbanbil saß li chakßrab nak incßaß teßxbânu. Li rey Ezequías quitijoc chirixeb ut quixye: —At Kâcuaß, kßaxal nim lâ cuuxtân. Chacuy ta xmâqueb chixjunileb li nequeßsicßoc âcue chi anchaleb xchôl.

19At Kâcuaß, lâat lix Dioseb lix xeßtônil yucuaß. Chacuyeb xmâc usta toj mâjiß nequeßxsantobresi ribeb joß naraj li chakßrab chirix li santobresîc saß li templo, chan laj Ezequías.
20Yahweh listened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
20Ut li Kâcuaß quirabi lix tij laj Ezequías ut quixcuy xmâqueb li tenamit.
21The children of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness; and the Levites and the priests praised Yahweh day by day, singing with loud instruments to Yahweh.
21Eb laj Israel li chßutchßûqueb aran Jerusalén queßninkßeîc ut queßxcuaß li caxlan cua mâcßaß xchßamal chiru cuukub cutan chi kßaxal sa saß xchßôleb. 22Hezekiah spoke comfortably to all the Levites who had good understanding in the service of Yahweh. So they ate throughout the feast for the seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings, and making confession to Yahweh, the God of their fathers.
22Li rey Ezequías quixqßue xcacuilal xchßôleb laj levita li queßxbânu chi us lix cßanjel chiru li Kâcuaß. Cuukub cutan queßtzacan saß li ninkße ut queßxqßue xmayejeb re xcßambaleb rib saß usilal chiru li Kâcuaß. Ut queßxlokßoni li Kâcuaß lix Dioseb lix xeßtônil yucuaß.
23The whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days; and they kept another seven days with gladness.
23Chixjunileb li chßutchßûqueb aran queßxcßul xchßôl xninkßeinquil cuukub cutan chic. Joßcan nak queßxbânu li ninkße cuukub cutan chic chi sa saß xchßôleb.
24For Hezekiah king of Judah gave to the assembly for offerings one thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
24Li rey Ezequías quixsi reheb li tenamit jun mil li bôyx ut cuukub mil li carner re teßxmayeja. Ut eb li cuanqueb xcuanquil queßxsi jun mil li bôyx ut lajêb mil li carner. Ut nabaleb laj tij queßxsantobresi ribeb.
25All the assembly of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the assembly who came out of Israel, and the foreigners who came out of the land of Israel, and who lived in Judah, rejoiced.
25Chixjunileb laj Judá li chßutchßûqueb aran queßsahoß saß xchßôleb. Joßcan ajcuiß eb laj tij ut eb laj levita. Chixjunileb laj Israel li queßxchßutub ribeb aran ut eb li jalaneb xtenamit li queßchal Israel ut eb li cuanqueb Judá queßsahoß saß xchßôleb.
26So there was great joy in Jerusalem; for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.
26Cßajoß li sahil chßôlejil quicuan aran Jerusalén. Mâ jun sut qui-uxman chi joßcan chalen saß eb li cutan nak quicuan laj Salomón li ralal laj David li quicuan chokß rey aran Israel.Eb laj tij ut eb laj levita queßxakli chixtzßâmanquil chiru li Dios nak târosobtesiheb li tenamit.
