3For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down; and he reared up altars for the Baals, and made Asheroth, and worshiped all the army of the sky, and served them.
3Quixyîb cuißchic li naßajej li najt xteram li quilajxpoßi laj Ezequías lix yucuaß. Quixyîb ajcuiß eb li artal li nequeßxlokßoni cuiß eb li yîbanbil dios Baal ut quixyîb cuißchic lix jalam ûch li dios xAsera. Ut quixlokßoniheb li chahim, joß ajcuiß li po ut li sakße.
4He built altars in the house of Yahweh, of which Yahweh said, “My name shall be in Jerusalem forever.”

6He also made his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom; and he practiced sorcery, and used enchantments, and practiced sorcery, and dealt with those who had familiar spirits, and with wizards: he worked much evil in the sight of Yahweh, to provoke him to anger.
6Quixcßateb li ralal chokß xmayej saß li ru takßa re Ben-hinom. Naxic riqßuineb laj kße chixpatzßbal cßaßru tâchâlk chiru mokon. Numtajenak li mâusilal li quixbânu toj retal nak quinumta xjoskßil li Kâcuaß saß xbên.
7He set the engraved image of the idol, which he had made, in God’s house, of which God said to David and to Solomon his son, “In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name forever:
7Laj Manasés quixxakab saß lix templo li Kâcuaß li jalam ûch li quixyîb, usta naxnau nak li Dios quixye re li rey David ut laj Salomón li ralal chi joßcaßin: —Saß xyânkeb lix naßajeb li ralal xcßajol laj Israel, lâin xinsicß ru li tenamit Jerusalén re nak aran tâcuânk li templo li tinlokßonîk cuiß chi junelic.
8neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from off the land which I have appointed for your fathers, if only they will observe to do all that I have commanded them, even all the law and the statutes and the ordinances given by Moses.”
8Ut incßaß tinqßueheb laj Israel chi isîc saß li naßajej aßin li quinqßue reheb lix xeßtônil yucuaßeb. Abanan tento nak teßxbânu chixjunil li chakßrab ut lix taklanquileb joß quinye re laj Moisés, chan li Dios.
9Manasseh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that they did more evil than the nations whom Yahweh destroyed before the children of Israel did.
9Abanan, laj Manasés quixcßam xbeheb li cuanqueb Judá ut Jerusalén chixbânunquil li mâusilal. Kßaxal cuißchic numtajenak xyibal ru li mâc queßxbânu chiru li queßxbânu li tenamit li queßisîc xban li Dios nak eb laj Israel queßoc saß li naßajej aßan.

11Therefore Yahweh brought on them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh in chains, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.
11Joßcan nak li Kâcuaß quixqßueheb li nequeßtaklan saß xbêneb lix soldados lix reyeb laj Asiria chi numtâc saß xbêneb laj Judá. Queßxchap laj Manasés. Queßxbacß riqßuin chßîchß li rukß ut li rok ut queßxcßam aran Babilonia.
12When he was in distress, he begged Yahweh his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.
12Nak ac cuan chic saß raylal, laj Manasés quitijoc chiru li Kâcuaß lix Dios. Quixcubsi rib chiru li Kâcuaß, lix Dioseb lix xeßtônil yucuaß.
13He prayed to him; and he was entreated by him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that Yahweh was God.
13Li Dios quirabi lix tij. Quiril xtokßobâl ru ut quixcßam cuißchic Jerusalén ut quixqßue cuißchic saß xcuanquil. Ut riqßuin aßan laj Manasés quixnau nak li Kâcuaß, aßan li tzßakal Dios.
14Now after this he built an outer wall to the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance at the fish gate; and he encircled Ophel with it, and raised it up to a very great height: and he put valiant captains in all the fortified cities of Judah.
14Chirix chic aßan, laj Manasés quixtakla xyîbanquil li tzßac li sutsu cuiß lix tenamit laj David. Naticla chak Gihón cuan cuiß li yußam haß. Ut nacuulac toj saß li oquebâl li nequeßnumeß cuiß laj cßay car. Quixsut saß tzßac li naßajej Ofel. Quixyîb li tzßac chi kßaxal najt xteram. 15He took away the foreign gods, and the idol out of the house of Yahweh, and all the altars that he had built in the mountain of the house of Yahweh, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.
15Laj Manasés quilajxpoßi eb li yîbanbil dios ut quirisi li jalam ûch li quixqßue saß lix templo li Kâcuaß. Quirisiheb ajcuiß li artal li quixqßue junxil saß li tzûl li cuan cuiß li templo joß eb ajcuiß li cuanqueb Jerusalén ut quixtzßek toj chirix li tenamit.
16He built up the altar of Yahweh, and offered thereon sacrifices of peace offerings and of thanksgiving, and commanded Judah to serve Yahweh, the God of Israel.
16Chirix aßan quixyîb cuißchic lix artal li Dios. Saß xbên li artal aßan quixqßue li cßatbil mayej re xcßambaleb rib saß usilal riqßuin li Dios ut re bantioxînc. Quixye reheb li cuanqueb Judá nak teßcßanjelak chiru li Kâcuaß lix Dioseb laj Israel.
17Nevertheless the people sacrificed still in the high places, but only to Yahweh their God.
17Eb li tenamit toj yôqueb chi mayejac saß eb li naßajej li najt xteram, abanan re xlokßoninquil li Kâcuaß lix Dioseb.
18Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, behold, they are written among the acts of the kings of Israel.
18Chixjunil li cßaßru quixbânu laj Manasés nak cuan chokß rey tzßîbanbil retalil saß li hu li tzßîbanbil cuiß retalil li quilajeßxbânu lix reyeb laj Israel. 19His prayer also, and how God was entreated of him, and all his sin and his trespass, and the places in which he built high places, and set up the Asherim and the engraved images, before he humbled himself: behold, they are written in the history of Hozai.
19Ut tzßîbanbil retalil lix tij li rey Manasés ut chanru nak li Dios quixsume. Tzßîbanbil ajcuiß retalil li mâusilal li quixbânu nak toj mâjiß nayotßeß xchßôl ut najal xcßaßux. Chixjunil li cßaßak re ru aßin tzßîbanbil retalil saß li hu li quextzßîba eb li profeta.
20So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his place.

22He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, as did Manasseh his father; and Amon sacrificed to all the engraved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them.
22Quixbânu li mâusilal chiru li Kâcuaß joß quixbânu laj Manasés lix yucuaß. Quixlokßoniheb chixjunileb li jalanil dios li quixyîb lix yucuaß ut quimayejac chiruheb.
23He didn’t humble himself before Yahweh, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but this same Amon trespassed more and more.
23Abanan incßaß quiyotßeß xchßôl joß nak quiyotßeß xchßôl laj Manasés lix yucuaß. Ut incßaß quixcubsi rib chiru li Kâcuaß. Quinumta ban li mâusilal li quixbânu.
24His servants conspired against him, and put him to death in his own house.

25But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his place.
25Ut eb laj Judá queßxcamsiheb li queßcamsin re li rey Amón. Ut aß chic laj Josías li ralal queßxxakab chokß rey chokß rêkaj.
