Revelation

17

1One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,
1Ut jun reheb li cuukub chi ángel, li cuanqueb li cuukub chi sec' riq'uineb, quixye cue: -Quim arin. Tinc'ut châcuu jun li ixk li naxc'ayi rib chunchu sa' xbên li ha' retalil li nimal tenamit Babilonia li cuan xcuanquil sa' xbêneb nabal chi tenamit. Tinc'ut châcuu li tojba mâc li xchal sa' xbên li tenamit a'an xban li mâusilal neque'xbânu.
2with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality, and those who dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her sexual immorality.”
2Chixjunileb li rey li cuanqueb sa' ruchich'och' neque'cuulac sa' li tenamit a'an chixbânunquil li mâusilal. Chanchan nak ac xe'caltesîc xban li mâusilal yôqueb chixbânunquil, chan li ángel.
3He carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored animal, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.
3Sa' li visión li quixc'utbesi chicuu li Santil Musik'ej, quicuil nak li ángel quinixc'am sa' jun li na'ajej bar mâc'a' cuan. Aran quicuil li ixk chunchu chirix jun li josk' aj xul cak rix. Tz'îbanbil nabal li âtin chirix re xmajecuanquil li Dios. Cuan cuukub xjolom ut cuan lajêb xxucub.
4The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the sexual immorality of the earth.
4Li ixk tikibanbil riq'uin rak' púrpura ut cak. Lix sahob ru li rak' yîbanbil riq'uin oro ut tertôquil pec ut riq'uin perla. Cuan chak riq'uin jun li sec' oro nujenak riq'uin li mâusilal ut li yumbêtac co'bêtac.
5And on her forehead a name was written, “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
5Ut tz'îbanbil sa' lix pêquem jun li c'aba'ej mukmu xyâlal. A'an a'in li tz'îbanbil: Li nimla tenamit Babilonia a'aneb li neque'c'amoc be chi co'bêtac yumbêtac ut chixbânunquil chixjunil li mâusilal.
6I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.
6Ut quicuil li ixk chanchan tâcalâk xban xquiq'ueleb li ralal xc'ajol li Dios li que'camsîc xban. Ut que'camsîc ajcui' nabaleb li cristian li que'xch'olob resil li Cristo. Nak quicuil a'an, sachso inch'ôl quincana.
7The angel said to me, “Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.
7Ut li ángel quixpatz' cue: -¿C'a'ut nak sachso âch'ôl xatcana? Lâin tinch'olob châcuu lix yâlal li mukmu nak xcuan. Tinye âcue c'a'ru xyâlal li ixk a'an jo' ajcui' li josk' aj xul li yô chi îkânc re. Ut tinye ajcui' âcue c'a'ru xyâlal lix jolom cuukub ut lix xucub lajêb.
8The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth and whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see that the beast was, and is not, and shall be present.
8Li josk' aj xul li xacuil, a'an li quicuan, ut anakcuan mâ ani chic. Abanan tâêlk cui'chic chak sa' li chamal jul ut tâsachek' ru chi junaj cua. Ut li jo' q'uialeb li inc'a' tz'îbanbileb xc'aba'eb chalen sa' xticlajic li ruchich'och' sa' li hu li tz'îbanbil cui' xc'aba'eb li cuanqueb xyu'am chi junelic, eb a'an tâsachk xch'ôleb chirilbal li josk' aj xul li quicuan chak junxil ut mâ ani chic anakcuan. Abanan tâchâlk cui'chic.
9Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.
9Tento nak cuânk âna'leb re nak tâtau ru lix yâlal. Li cuukub chi jolom, a'an retalil li cuukub chi coc' tzûl li cuan cui' li tenamit.
10They are seven kings. Five have fallen, the one is, the other has not yet come. When he comes, he must continue a little while.
10Ut retalileb ajcui' li cuukub chi rey. Ôb li rey ac xe'cuan ut xe'sache' ruheb, jun cuan anakcuan ut li jun chic toj mâji' na-oc sa' xcuanquil. Ut nak tâoc, inc'a' najt tâbâyk.
11The beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goes to destruction.
11Ut li josk' aj xul li quicuan ut mâ ani chic anakcuan, a'an li xcuakxak li rey ut xcomoneb rib riq'uineb li cuukub chi rey. A'an tâsachek' ru.
12The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority as kings, with the beast, for one hour.
12Ut li lajêb chi xucub li xacuil, a'an retalileb li lajêb chi rey li te'cuânk. Te'xc'ul xcuanquileb chi cuânc chok' rey, rochbeneb li josk' aj xul li cak rix. Abanan inc'a' najt tâcuânk xcuanquil eb a'an.
13These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast.
13Eb a'in junajak xc'a'uxeb ut te'xq'ue lix cacuilal ut lix cuanquilal re li josk' aj xul.
14These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings. They also will overcome who are with him, called and chosen and faithful.”
14Eb li rey te'pletik riq'uin li Jun li chanchan carner. Abanan a'an tânumtâk sa' xbêneb xban nak a'an li Kâcua', li k'axal nim xcuanquil sa' xbên chixjunil. Ut a'an li tz'akal rey li nim xcuanquil sa' xbêneb chixjunileb li cuanqueb xcuanquil sa' ruchich'och'. Ut li sic'bileb ru, li tîqueb xch'ôl chixtâkenquil, te'numtâk ajcui' sa' xbêneb li rey, rochbeneb li Jun li chanchan carner.-
15He said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.
15Quixye cue li ángel: -Li ha' li xacuil li chunchu cui' li ixk, a'an retalileb li xnînkal ru tenamit, a' yal ani xtêpaleb xxe'tônil yucua'eb, ut a' yal chanru li râtinobâleb.
16The ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute, and will make her desolate, and will make her naked, and will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.
16Li lajêb chi xxucub li josk' aj xul li xacuil, xic' te'ril li ixk li naxc'ayi rib. Te'xtz'ektâna li ixk ut te'xcanab chi mâc'a' cuan re. T'ust'u te'xcanab. Te'xtiu lix tibel ut li jo' q'uial chic inc'a' te'xchoy te'xc'at sa' xam.
17For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, and to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.
17Li Dios quiq'uehoc re sa' xch'ôleb li rey nak jo'can te'xbânu. Jo'can nak junajakeb lix c'a'ux chixq'uebal lix cuanquileb re li josk' aj xul re nak tâtaklânk toj tâtz'aklok ru li quixye li Dios.Li ixk li xacuil, a'an retalil li nimla tenamit, li cuan xcuanquil sa' xbêneb chixjunileb li tenamit sa' ruchich'och'.-
18The woman whom you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.”
18Li ixk li xacuil, a'an retalil li nimla tenamit, li cuan xcuanquil sa' xbêneb chixjunileb li tenamit sa' ruchich'och'.-
