8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, that your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world.

12Ut nacuaj rilbal êru re nak takatenk'a kib sa' li kapâbâl, lâex jo' ajcui' lâin, xban nak junaj li kapâbâl.
13Now I don’t desire to have you unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you, and was hindered so far, that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles.
13Ex hermân, nacuaj nak tênau nak nabal sut ninc'oxla raj xic êriq'uin, abanan toj mâji' naru ninxic. Mâre cuan raj te'pâbânk aran nak te'rabi râtin li Dios li tinch'olob xyâlal chiruheb jo' nak que'pâban chak chicuu sa' eb li tenamit quinnume' cui' chak.
14I am debtor both to Greeks and to foreigners, both to the wise and to the foolish.
15So, as much as is in me, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who are in Rome.
15Jo'can nak nacuaj tinch'olob xyâlal li colba-ib chêru lâex li cuanquex Roma.
16For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.
16Inc'a' ninxutânac chixch'olobanquil xyâlal li colba-ib xban nak a'an lix nimal xcuanquil li Dios re xcolbal chixjunil li te'pâbânk re. Li colba-ib xbên cua q'uebil reheb laj judío ut q'uebil ajcui' reheb li mâcua'eb aj judío.
17For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.” Habakkuk 2:4
17Lix yâlal li colba-ib naxc'ut chiku nak ca'aj cui' riq'uin xpâbanquil li Dios tîc chic li kach'ôl chiru ut cuânko chi sum âtin riq'uin, jo' naxye sa' li Santil Hu: Li tîc xch'ôl riq'uin xpâbanquil li Dios cuan xyu'am chi junelic. (Hab. 2:4)
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
19because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them.
19Chixjunil li c'a'ak re ru nanauman chirix li Dios, ac ch'olch'o chiruheb. A' li Dios ajcui' quic'utbesin chiruheb. Aban inc'a' neque'xq'ue xcuanquil lix yâlal.
20For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse.
20Chalen chak sa' xticlajic li ruchich'och' nac'utun xcuanquil ut xlok'al li Dios riq'uin li c'a'ak re ru quilajxyîb. Nac'utun nak a'an li tz'akal Dios ut k'axal nim xcuanquil chi junelic. Jo'can nak mâc'a' junak âtin te'xcol cui' rib chiru xjosk'il li Dios.
21Because, knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, neither gave thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.
Ca'aj cui' li jo' mâjo'il na'leb neque'xc'oxla ut xban a'an nak quik'ojyîno' ru lix c'a'uxeb.
22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
22Eb a'an neque'xye nak cuanqueb xna'leb abanan mâc'a'eb xna'leb.
23and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things.
23Inc'a' neque'xlok'oni li yo'yôquil Dios. A' chic lix jalam ûch li cuînk li nacam, a'an chic neque'xlok'oni.
24Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves,
24Jo'can nak li Dios quixtz'ektânaheb sa' xyibal ru lix mâusilaleb toj retal neque'xc'ut xxutâneb chi ribileb rib xban nak neque'xbânu li jo' mâjo'il na'leb.
25who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
25Inc'a' que'xpâb li tz'akal Dios. A' chic li tic'ti' que'xq'ue xcuanquil. Que'xnima ru ut que'xq'ue xlok'al li c'a'ak re ru yîbanbil xban li Dios ut inc'a' que'xlok'oni li tz'akal Dios. Ca'aj cui' li tz'akal Dios a'an xc'ulub li lok'onîc chi junelic. Jo'can taxak.
26For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature.
Ut eb li ixk inc'a' chic que'raj cuânc riq'uineb lix bêlom. Riq'uin ban chic li rech ixkilal que'xbânu li moco uxc ta naraj.
27Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.
27Ut jo'can ajcui' li cuînk inc'a' chic que'raj li ixk li quicanabâc reheb xban li Dios. Que'tikcuo' xjolomeb xban lix mâusilaleb chi ribileb rib ut yôqueb chixbânunquil li tz'ekbêtal aj na'leb riq'uin rech cuînkilal. Ut que'xc'ul ajcui' xtojbal rix lix mâusilaleb jo' xc'ulubeb.
28Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
28Xban nak inc'a' neque'xc'oxla li Dios, jo'can nak que'tz'ektânâc xban li Dios sa' li tz'ekbêtal aj na'leb chixbânunquil li moco uxc ta naraj.
29being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers,
29Numtajenakeb xyibal ru lix na'lebeb ut lix mâusilaleb. Aj yumbêteb ut aj co'bêteb. Neque'xra ru li c'a'ru cuan reheb li ras rîtz'in ut k'axal josk'eb. Numtajenakeb chi aj cakal, aj camsihomeb ras rîtz'in, aj plêteb, aj balak'eb ut aj molol âtineb.
