14

1Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.
1Chec'ulakeb chi sa sa' êch'ôl li toj k'uneb xch'ôl sa' lix pâbâleb ut mêcuech'i rix lix c'a'uxeb.
2One man has faith to eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables.
2Cuan neque'xc'oxla nak moco mâc ta xtzacanquil chixjunil li c'a'ak re ru natzacaman. Cuanqueb ajcui' li toj k'uneb xch'ôl sa' lix pâbâleb neque'xc'oxla nak mâc xtzacanquil li tib.
3Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.
3Li ani naxtzaca chixjunil li c'a'ak re ru natzacaman inc'a' naru tixtz'ektâna li ani inc'a' naxtzaca chixjunil li c'a'ak re ru. Ut li ani inc'a' naxtzaca chixjunil li c'a'ak re ru inc'a' naru naxcuech'i rix li jun chic li naxtzaca chixjunil xban nak a'an ac xc'ule' ajcui' xban li Dios.
4Who are you who judge another’s servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.
4Lâat inc'a' naru nacatrakoc âtin sa' xbên lix môs lâ cuas âcuîtz'in. A' lix patrón tâyehok re ma us malaj inc'a' us li yô chixbânunquil. Jo'can nak li nimajcual Dios a'an nataklan re li junjûnk ut a'an nayehoc reheb ma us malaj inc'a' us li yôqueb chixbânunquil. Ut li Dios tâtenk'ânk reheb chixbânunquil li us.
5One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.
5Cuan neque'c'oxlan nak k'axal lok' junak cutan chiruheb li cutan jun ch'ôl chic. Ut cuan ajcui' neque'c'oxlan re nak juntak'êt xlok'al chixjunileb li cutan. Abanan tento nak li junjûnk tixc'oxla chi us chanru tixbânu.
6He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks. He who doesn’t eat, to the Lord he doesn’t eat, and gives God thanks.
6Li ani naxq'ue xlok'al junak li cutan, a'an naxbânu re xlok'oninquil li Dios. Ut jo'can ajcui' li nati'oc tib naxbânu a'an re xlok'oninquil li Dios ut naxbantioxi ajcui' chiru li Dios. Ut li ani inc'a' nati'oc tib, xlok'oninquil ajcui' li Dios naxbânu nak inc'a' nati'oc tib, ut naxbantioxi ajcui' chiru li Dios.
7For none of us lives to himself, and none dies to himself.
7Mâ ani yo'yo ta yal xjunes rib. Ut mâ ani ajcui' nacam chi yal xjunes rib xban nak mâcua' lâo yal ke sa' xbên li kayu'am.
8For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
8Nak yo'yôco nakaq'ue xlok'al li Kâcua' Dios riq'uin li kayu'am. Ut nak nococam, nakaq'ue ajcui' xlok'al riq'uin li kacamic. Jo'can ut cui yo'yôco ut cui nococam a' yal re li Dios sa' kabên xban nak a'an chic laj êchal ke.
9For to this end Christ died, rose, and lived again, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.
9Jo'can nak quicam li Jesucristo, ut quicuacli cui'chic chi yo'yo re nak a'anak li Kâcua' reheb li yo'yôqueb jo' eb ajcui' li camenakeb.
10But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11For it is written, “‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘to me every knee will bow. Every tongue will confess to God.’”
11Tz'îbanbil sa' li Santil Hu li quixye li Dios: Relic chi yâl ninye êre nak chixjunileb te'xcuik'ib rib chicuu ut tine'xlok'oni ut chixjunileb te'xye riq'uin xtz'ûmal re nak lâin li tz'akal Dios. (Isa. 45:23)
12So then each one of us will give account of himself to God.
12Jo'can nak chikajunilo toxkak'axtesi li kayehom kabânuhom chiru li Dios.
13Therefore let’s not judge one another any more, but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block in his brother’s way, or an occasion for falling.
13Chikacanabak xcuech'inquil kib chi kibil kib ut chikabânu li us re nak li kech aj pâbanelil inc'a' te'ch'inânk xch'ôleb sa' lix pâbâleb chi moco te'oc cui'chic chi mâcobc kaban.
14I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself; except that to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
14Xban nak ninpâb li Cristo, jo'can nak ninnau nak mâc'a' rêc' xtzacanquil li c'a'ak re ru. Abanan cui junak narec'a sa' xch'ôl nak mâc xtzacanquil junak tzacaêmk, us cui inc'a' tixbânu.
15Yet if because of food your brother is grieved, you walk no longer in love. Don’t destroy with your food him for whom Christ died.
15Cui riq'uin li c'a'ru nacatzaca nach'inan xch'ôl lâ cuech aj pâbanelil, a'an naraj naxye nak inc'a' nacara lâ cuech aj pâbanelil. Mâpo' xch'ôleb lâ cuech aj pâbanelil riq'uin li c'a'ru nacatzaca xban nak li Jesucristo quicam ajcui' sa' xc'aba' eb a'an.
16Then don’t let your good be slandered,
16Lâat nacanau nak us li yôcat chixbânunquil, abanan chaq'uehak retal li c'a'ru tâbânu re nak mâ ani tâyehok nak inc'a' us li yôcat chixbânunquil.
17for the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
17Lix cuanquilal li Dios inc'a' nakatau riq'uin c'a'ru nakatzaca chi moco riq'uin li c'a'ru nakuc'; natauman ban riq'uin li tîquilal, li tuktûquil usilal ut li sahil ch'ôlejil li naxq'ue ke li Santil Musik'ej.
18For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.
18Jo'can nak li ani nac'anjelac chiru li Cristo sa' tîquilal ut chi sa sa' xch'ôl, li Dios nasaho' xch'ôl riq'uin. Ut naq'uehe' ajcui' xlok'al xbaneb li ras rîtz'in.
19So then, let us follow after things which make for peace, and things by which we may build one another up.
19Jo'can nak chikaq'uehak kach'ôl chi cuânc sa' tuktûquil usilal riq'uineb li kas kîtz'in. Ut chikatenk'a kib chi kibil kib re nak toq'uîk sa' li kapâbâl.
20Don’t overthrow God’s work for food’s sake. All things indeed are clean, however it is evil for that man who creates a stumbling block by eating.
20Mâpo' xc'anjel li Dios riq'uin li c'a'ak re ru nacatzaca. Yâl nak chixjunil naru xtzacanquil. Abanan cui lâ hermân nach'inan xch'ôl riq'uin li nacatzaca, inc'a' us li yôcat chixbânunquil.
21It is good to not eat meat, drink wine, nor do anything by which your brother stumbles, is offended, or is made weak.
21Li us xbânunquil, a'an a'in: cui nach'inan xch'ôl lâ hermân xban nak nacatti'oc tib ut nacat-uc'ac vino, matti'oc tib ut mat-uc'ac vino. Inc'a' tâbânu li c'a'ak re ru tâch'inânk cui' xch'ôl lâ hermân re nak inc'a' tâmâcobk âban.
22Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who doesn’t judge himself in that which he approves.
22Cui nacanau chi tz'akal nak us yôcat chixbânunquil, canab sa' ruk' li Dios. Us xak re li ani narec'a sa' xch'ôl nak moco mâc ta li yô chixbânunquil.Cui junak narec'a sa' xch'ôl nak mâc xtzacanquil junak tzacaêmk, ut cui naxtzaca, a'an cuan xmâc chiru li Dios. Cui nakec'a sa' li kâm nak inc'a' us xbânunquil li c'a'ru nakabânu, ut cui nakabânu, yôco chi mâcobc.
23But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because it isn’t of faith; and whatever is not of faith is sin.
23Cui junak narec'a sa' xch'ôl nak mâc xtzacanquil junak tzacaêmk, ut cui naxtzaca, a'an cuan xmâc chiru li Dios. Cui nakec'a sa' li kâm nak inc'a' us xbânunquil li c'a'ru nakabânu, ut cui nakabânu, yôco chi mâcobc.
24Now to him who is able to establish you according to my Good News and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret through long ages,
25but now is revealed, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, is made known for obedience of faith to all the nations;
26to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever! Amen.
