¹I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and who will also share in the glory that will be revealed.

¹ចំពោះព្រឹទ្ធាចារ្យ ដែលនៅក្នុងចំណោមបងប្អូន ក្នុងនាមខ្ញុំជាព្រឹទ្ធាចារ្យដូចគ្នា ហើយជាបន្ទាល់អំពីទុក្ខលំបាករបស់ព្រះគ្រិស្ដ និង ជាអ្នករួមទទួលសិរីរុងរឿង ដែលនឹងត្រូវលេចមក ខ្ញុំសូមដាស់តឿនថាៈ

²Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily, not for dishonest gain, but willingly;

²សូមមើលថែរក្សាហ្វូងចៀម ដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់ផ្ញើទុកនឹងបងប្អូន ដោយចិត្ដស្មោះស្ម័គ្រ ស្របតាមព្រះហឫទ័យព្រះជាម្ចាស់គឺមិនមែនដោយទើសទ័ល ឬ ដោយចង់បានកំរៃអ្វីដែរ តែត្រូវមើលថែរក្សាដោយសុទ្ធចិត្ដ។

³neither as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.

³កុំប្រើអំណាចជិះជាន់អស់អ្នកដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រទានមកអោយបងប្អូនថែរក្សានោះឡើយ គឺត្រូវធ្វើជាគំរូដល់ហ្វូងចៀមវិញ។

⁴When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that doesn’t fade away.

⁴ពេលអ្នកគង្វាលដ៏ឧត្ដមយាងមកដល់ បងប្អូននឹងទទួលមកុដដ៏រុងរឿងដែលមិនចេះអាប់រស្មី។

⁵Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another; for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Proverbs 3:34

⁵រីឯពួកយុវជនវិញក៏ដូច្នោះដែរ ត្រូវគោរពចុះចូលនឹងព្រឹទ្ធាចារ្យ ។ ចូរទាក់ទងគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក ដោយសុភាពរាបសា ដ្បិត «ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រឆាំងនឹងអស់អ្នកដែលអួតខ្លួន តែទ្រង់ប្រណីសន្ដោសអស់អ្នកដែលដាក់ខ្លួនវិញ»។

⁶Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;

⁶ដូច្នេះ ត្រូវដាក់ខ្លួននៅក្រោមព្រះហស្ដដ៏មានឫទ្ធានុភាពរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ដើម្បីអោយព្រះអង្គលើកតម្កើងបងប្អូន នៅពេលដែលព្រះអង្គបានកំណត់ទុក។

⁷casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

⁷ចូរផ្ទេរទុក្ខកង្វល់ទាំងប៉ុន្មានរបស់បងប្អូនទៅព្រះអង្គទៅ ដ្បិតទ្រង់យកព្រះហឫទ័យទុកដាក់នឹងបងប្អូន។

⁸Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

⁸ត្រូវភ្ញាក់ខ្លួន ហើយប្រុងស្មារតីជានិច្ច! ដ្បិតមារ ជាសត្រូវនឹងបងប្អូនកំពុងតែក្រវែលជុំវិញបងប្អូន ដូចសឹង្ហក្រវែល ទាំងគ្រហឹម រកត្របាក់ស៊ីអ្នកណាម្នាក់។

⁹Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.

⁹ចូរប្រឆាំងនឹងវា ហើយមានជំនឿមាំមួនឡើង ដោយដឹងថា បងប្អូនរួមជំនឿឯទៀតៗនៅក្នុងសកលលោកទាំងមូល ក៏ត្រូវរងទុក្ខលំបាកដូចបងប្អូនដែរ។

¹⁰But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

¹⁰បន្ទាប់ពីបងប្អូនបានរងទុក្ខលំបាកមួយរយៈពេលខ្លីនេះរួចហើយ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រកបដោយព្រះគុណគ្រប់យ៉ាង ដែលបានត្រាស់ហៅបងប្អូន អោយទទួលសិរីរុងរឿងដ៏ស្ថិតស្ថេរអស់កល្បជានិច្ចរួមជាមួយព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ព្រះអង្គនឹងលើកបងប្អូនអោយមានជំហរឡើងវិញ ប្រទានអោយបងប្អូនបានរឹងប៉ឹង មានកម្លាំង និង អោយបងប្អូនបានមាំមួន ឥតរង្គើឡើយ។

¹¹To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

¹¹សូមអោយព្រះអង្គបានប្រកបដោយព្រះចេស្ដា សូមលើកតម្កើងព្រះចេស្ដារបស់ព្រះអង្គ អស់កល្បជាអង្វែងតរៀងទៅ! អាម៉ែន!

¹²Through Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I consider him, I have written to you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God in which you stand.

¹²ខ្ញុំសរសេរលិខិតដ៏ខ្លីផ្ញើមកជូនបងប្អូននេះ ដោយមានលោកស៊ីលវ៉ាន ជាអ្នកស្មោះត្រង់បានជួយ ដើម្បីលើកទឹកចិត្ដបងប្អូន និង បញ្ជាក់ប្រាប់បងប្អូនថា បងប្អូនពិតជាស្ថិតនៅជាប់ក្នុងព្រះគុណរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់មែន។

¹³She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, greets you; and so does Mark, my son.

¹³ក្រុមជំនុំ នៅក្រុងបាប៊ីឡូន សូមជំរាបសួរមកបងប្អូន ហើយលោកម៉ាកុសជាកូនរបស់ខ្ញុំ សូមជំរាបសួរមកបងប្អូនដែរ។

¹⁴Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace be to you all who are in Christ Jesus. Amen.

¹⁴ចូរជំរាបសួរគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកដោយស្និទ្ធស្នាល។ សូមអោយបងប្អូនទាំងអស់ ដែលរួមរស់នឹងព្រះគ្រិស្ដ បានប្រកបដោយសេចក្ដីសុខសាន្ដ។
