²to Timothy, my beloved child: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

²មកដល់ធីម៉ូថេ ជាកូនដ៏ជាទីស្រឡាញ់ សូមព្រះជាម្ចាស់ជាព្រះបិតា និង ព្រះគ្រិស្ដយេស៊ូ ជាព្រះអម្ចាស់នៃយើងប្រទានព្រះគុណព្រះហឫទ័យមេត្ដាករុណា និង សេចក្ដីសុខសាន្ដដល់អ្នក។

³I thank God, whom I serve as my forefathers did, with a pure conscience. How unceasing is my memory of you in my petitions, night and day

³ខ្ញុំសូមអរព្រះគុណព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ដែលខ្ញុំគោរពបំរើបន្ដពីបុព្វបុរស ដោយមនសិការបរិសុទ្ធ ហើយរាល់ពេលខ្ញុំអធិស្ឋាន ខ្ញុំតែងតែនឹកគិតដល់អ្នកទាំងយប់ទាំងថ្ងៃ ឥតឈប់ឈរ។

⁴longing to see you, remembering your tears, that I may be filled with joy;

⁴ខ្ញុំនឹកឃើញទឹកភ្នែករបស់អ្នក ហើយចង់ជួបអ្នកជាថ្មីយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ដើម្បីអោយខ្ញុំបានពោរពេញដោយអំណរ។

⁵having been reminded of the sincere faith that is in you; which lived first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and, I am persuaded, in you also.

⁵ខ្ញុំក៏នៅនឹកចាំពីជំនឿឥតលាក់ពុតរបស់អ្នក គឺជាជំនឿដែលលោកយាយឡូអ៊ីសជាជីដូន និង អ្នកស្រីអឺនីសជាម្ដាយរបស់អ្នកធ្លាប់មានមុនអ្នក ខ្ញុំជឿជាក់ថា អ្នកក៏មានជំនឿនេះដែរ។

⁶For this cause, I remind you that you should stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

⁶ហេតុនេះហើយ បានជាខ្ញុំសុំរំលឹកដាស់តឿនអ្នកថា ចូរធ្វើអោយព្រះអំណោយទានរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ដែលអ្នកបានទទួល ដោយខ្ញុំដាក់ដៃ លើនោះ មានសកម្មភាពឡើងវិញ

⁷For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

⁷ដ្បិតព្រះជាម្ចាស់ពុំបានប្រទានអោយយើងមានវិញ្ញាណដែលនាំអោយខ្លាចទេ គឺព្រះអង្គប្រទានអោយយើងទទួលវិញ្ញាណដែលផ្ដល់កម្លាំង សេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់ និង ចិត្ដធ្ងន់។

⁸Therefore don’t be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but endure hardship for the Good News according to the power of God,

⁸ដូច្នេះ មិនត្រូវខ្មាសនឹងផ្ដល់សក្ខីភាពអំពីព្រះអម្ចាស់របស់យើង ឬ ខ្មាសនឹងខ្ញុំជាប់ឃុំឃាំង ព្រោះតែព្រះអង្គនោះឡើយ។ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ អ្នកត្រូវតែរងទុក្ខវេទនារួមជាមួយខ្ញុំ សំរាប់ដំណឹងល្អ ដោយពឹងផ្អែកលើឫទ្ធានុភាពរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់។

⁹who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal,

⁹ព្រះអង្គហ្នឹងហើយ ដែលបានសង្គ្រោះយើង និង បានត្រាស់ហៅយើងអោយមកធ្វើជាប្រជារាស្ដ្រដ៏វិសុទ្ធ របស់ព្រះអង្គ។ ព្រះអង្គត្រាស់ហៅយើងដូច្នេះ មិនមែនមកពីអំពើដែលយើងបានប្រព្រឹត្ដនោះទេ គឺស្របតាមគំរោងការ និង ស្របតាមព្រះគុណ ដែលទ្រង់បានប្រទានមកយើង ក្នុងអង្គព្រះគ្រិស្ដយេស៊ូតាំងពីមុនកាលសម័យទាំងអស់មកម៉្លេះ។

¹⁰but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Good News.

¹⁰ឥឡូវនេះ ព្រះអង្គបានសំដែងអោយយើងស្គាល់ ព្រះហឫទ័យប្រណីសន្ដោសរបស់ព្រះអង្គ ដោយព្រះគ្រិស្ដយេស៊ូជាព្រះសង្គ្រោះរបស់យើង យាងមកក្នុងលោកនេះ។ ព្រះគ្រិស្ដបានបំបាត់អំណាចនៃសេចក្ដីស្លាប់ ព្រមទាំងបំភ្លឺយើងអោយស្គាល់ជីវិតអមតៈ ដោយសារដំណឹងល្អ ។

¹¹For this, I was appointed as a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

¹¹ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានតែងតាំងខ្ញុំ អោយប្រកាសដំណឹងល្អនេះ ក្នុងឋានៈជាសាវ័ក និង ជាគ្រូអប់រំ។

¹²For this cause I also suffer these things. Yet I am not ashamed, for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed to him against that day.

¹²ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាខ្ញុំរងទុក្ខលំបាកទាំងនេះ ប៉ុន្ដែ ខ្ញុំមិនខ្មាសឡើយដ្បិតខ្ញុំដឹងថា ខ្ញុំបានជឿលើព្រះអង្គណា ហើយខ្ញុំក៏ជឿជាក់ថា ព្រះអង្គនោះមានឫទ្ធានុភាពនឹងរក្សាអ្វីៗ ដែលព្រះអង្គផ្ញើទុកនឹងខ្ញុំ អោយបានគង់វង្ស រហូតដល់ថ្ងៃព្រះអង្គយាងមក។

¹³Hold the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

¹³ចូរចងចាំព្រះបន្ទូលដ៏ត្រឹមត្រូវរបស់ព្រះអម្ចាស់ដែលអ្នកបានទទួលពីខ្ញុំ ទុកធ្វើជាគោលនៃជំនឿ និង សេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់ដែលយើងមាន ដោយរួមក្នុងអង្គព្រះគ្រិស្ដយេស៊ូ។

¹⁴That good thing which was committed to you, guard through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

¹⁴អ្វីៗដ៏ល្អដែលព្រះអង្គផ្ញើទុកនឹងអ្នក ត្រូវរក្សាអោយបានគង់វង្ស ដោយព្រះវិញ្ញាណដ៏វិសុទ្ធដែលសណ្ឋិតនៅក្នុងយើង។

¹⁵This you know, that all who are in Asia turned away from me; of whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.

¹⁵បងប្អូននៅស្រុកអាស៊ី បានបោះបង់ខ្ញុំចោលទាំងអស់គ្នា មានភីកែឡូស និង ហ៊ើម៉ូគេនជាដើម ដូចអ្នកដឹងស្រាប់ហើយ។

¹⁶May the Lord grant mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain,

¹⁶សូមព្រះអម្ចាស់សំដែងព្រះហឫទ័យមេត្ដាករុណា ដល់ក្រុមគ្រួសាររបស់លោកអូនេស៊ីភ័រដ្បិតគាត់តែងតែលើកទឹកចិត្ដខ្ញុំជាញឹកញាប់ ហើយគាត់ក៏មិនដែលខ្មាស ព្រោះតែខ្ញុំជាប់ឃុំឃាំងនោះឡើយ។

¹⁷but when he was in Rome, he sought me diligently, and found me

¹⁷មិនតែប៉ុណ្ណោះសោត ពេលគាត់មកដល់ក្រុងរ៉ូម គាត់បានស្វះស្វែងដើររកខ្ញុំ ទាល់តែជួប។

¹⁸(the Lord grant to him to find the Lord’s mercy in that day); and in how many things he served at Ephesus, you know very well.

¹⁸សូមព្រះអម្ចាស់ប្រោសប្រទាន អោយគាត់បានទទួលព្រះហឫទ័យមេត្ដាករុណាពីព្រះអម្ចាស់ នៅថ្ងៃព្រះអង្គយាងមក។ អ្នកដឹងច្បាស់ជាងគេស្រាប់ហើយថា កាលខ្ញុំនៅក្រុងអេភេសូ គាត់បានជួយ ជ្រោមជ្រែងខ្ញុំយ៉ាងណាខ្លះ។
