¹Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment,

³At about the ninth hour of the day 3:00 PM , he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him, and saying to him, “Cornelius!”

⁴He, fastening his eyes on him, and being frightened, said, “What is it, Lord?” He said to him, “Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.

⁵Now send men to Joppa, and get Simon, who is surnamed Peter.

⁶He lodges with one Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the seaside. TR adds “This one will tell you what it is necessary for you to do.” ”

⁸Having explained everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.

⁹Now on the next day as they were on their journey, and got close to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray at about noon.

¹⁰He became hungry and desired to eat, but while they were preparing, he fell into a trance.

¹¹He saw heaven opened and a certain container descending to him, like a great sheet let down by four corners on the earth,

¹²in which were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild animals, reptiles, and birds of the sky.

¹²នៅលើកំរាលនោះ មានសត្វចតុប្បាទគ្រប់ប្រភេទ មានសត្វលូនវារ និង បក្សាបក្សី។

¹³A voice came to him, “Rise, Peter, kill and eat!”

¹³មានព្រះសូរសៀងបញ្ជាមកគាត់ថា៖ «ពេត្រុសអើយ! ចូរសម្លាប់សត្វទាំងនេះបរិភោគទៅ!»។

¹⁴But Peter said, “Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.”

¹⁴ប៉ុន្ដែ លោកពេត្រុសទូលទៅវិញថា៖ «ទេ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ ទូលបង្គំពុំដែលទទួលទានអ្វីដែលវិន័យហាមឃាត់ ឬ មិនបរិសុទ្ធ ទាល់តែសោះ»។

¹⁵A voice came to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed, you must not call unclean.”

¹⁵បន្ទាប់មក លោកពេត្រុសបានឮព្រះសូរសៀងនោះ ជាលើកទីពីរថា៖ «អ្វីៗដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានប្រោសអោយបរិសុទ្ធហើយ ចូរកុំចាត់ទុកថា វិន័យហាមឃាត់នោះឡើយ!»។

¹⁶This was done three times, and immediately the vessel was received up into heaven.

¹⁶ហេតុការណ៍នេះកើតមានដល់ទៅបីដង នៅទីបំផុត វត្ថុនោះក៏ឡើងទៅលើមេឃវិញភ្លាមបាត់ទៅ។

¹⁷Now while Peter was very perplexed in himself what the vision which he had seen might mean, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon’s house, stood before the gate,

¹⁸and called and asked whether Simon, who was surnamed Peter, was lodging there.

¹⁸គេស្រែកសួរថា៖ «លោកស៊ីម៉ូនហៅពេត្រុសស្នាក់ក្នុងផ្ទះនេះឬទេ?»។

¹⁹While Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three Reading from TR and NU. MT omits “three” men seek you.

¹⁹ពេលលោកពេត្រុសកំពុងរិះគិតអំពីហេតុការណ៍ ដែលលោកនិមិត្ដឃើញនោះ ព្រះវិញ្ញាណមានព្រះបន្ទូលមកគាត់ថា៖ «មានបុរសបីនាក់កំពុងសួររកអ្នក

²⁰But arise, get down, and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them.”

²⁰ចូរចុះទៅក្រោមចេញដំណើរទៅជាមួយគេភ្លាមទៅ កុំរារែកឡើយ ដ្បិតយើងនេះហើយដែលបានចាត់គេអោយមក»។

²¹Peter went down to the men, and said, “Behold, I am he whom you seek. Why have you come?”

²¹លោកពេត្រុសក៏ចុះទៅក្រោម មានប្រសាសន៍ទៅបុរសទាំងបីនាក់នោះថា៖«ខ្ញុំនេះហើយដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នាកំពុងតែរក! តើអ្នកមកមានការអ្វី?។

²²They said, “Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous man and one who fears God, and well spoken of by all the nation of the Jews, was directed by a holy angel to invite you to his house, and to listen to what you say.”

²²គេឆ្លើយថា៖ «លោកកូនេលាស ជានាយទាហាន បានចាត់យើងអោយមក គាត់ជាមនុស្សសុចរិត គោរពកោតខ្លាចព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ហើយជាមនុស្សម្នាក់ដែលប្រជាជាតិយូដា សរសើរគ្រប់ៗគ្នា។ ទេវតាដ៏វិសុទ្ធមួយរូបបានមកប្រាប់គាត់អោយអញ្ជើញលោកទៅផ្ទះគាត់ ដើម្បីស្ដាប់លោកមានប្រសាសន៍»។

²³So he called them in and lodged them. On the next day Peter arose and went out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.

²⁴On the next day they entered into Caesarea. Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his relatives and his near friends.

²⁴នៅថ្ងៃបន្ទាប់មកទៀត លោកបានទៅដល់ក្រុងសេសារា។ រីឯលោកកូនេលាសវិញ គាត់បានអញ្ជើញញាតិសន្ដាន និង មិត្ដជិតដិតមកផ្ទះរបស់គាត់ ហើយទន្ទឹងរង់ចាំពួកលោកពេត្រុស។

²⁵When it happened that Peter entered, Cornelius met him, fell down at his feet, and worshiped him.

²⁵ពេលលោកពេត្រុសមកដល់ លោកកូនេលាសចេញទៅទទួល ក្រាបចុះទៀបជើងលោក។

²⁶But Peter raised him up, saying, “Stand up! I myself am also a man.”

²⁶ប៉ុន្ដែ លោកពេត្រុសចាប់គាត់អោយក្រោកឡើង ទាំងពោលថា៖«អញ្ជើញក្រោកឡើង ខ្ញុំក៏ជាមនុស្សដែរទេតើ!»។

²⁷As he talked with him, he went in and found many gathered together.

²⁷លោកដើរចូលទៅខាងក្នុងបណ្ដើរសន្ទនាជាមួយលោកកូនេលាសបណ្ដើរ។ ដោយលោកឃើញមនុស្សជាច្រើននៅជុំគ្នា

²⁸He said to them, “You yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation, but God has shown me that I shouldn’t call any man unholy or unclean.

²⁸លោកមានប្រសាសន៍ទៅគេថា៖«បងប្អូនជ្រាបឬទេ វិន័យ របស់សាសនាយូដា ហាមមិនអោយសាសន៍យូដាទាក់ទង ជាមួយជនបរទេស ឬ ក៏ចូលទៅក្នុងផ្ទះរបស់គេឡើយ។ ប៉ុន្ដែ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានបង្ហាញខ្ញុំអោយដឹងថា មិនត្រូវប្រកាន់នរណាម្នាក់ថា ជាមនុស្សដែលវិន័យហាមឃាត់មិនអោយទាក់ទង ឬ ជាមនុស្សមិនបរិសុទ្ធនោះឡើយ។

²⁹Therefore also I came without complaint when I was sent for. I ask therefore, why did you send for me?”

²⁹ហេតុនេះហើយ បានជាខ្ញុំមកភ្លាម ឥតមានជំទាស់អ្វីសោះ នៅពេលដែលបងប្អូនហៅខ្ញុំមក។ ឥឡូវនេះ សុំប្រាប់ខ្ញុំមើល៍បងប្អូនហៅខ្ញុំមកមានការអ្វី?»។

³⁰Cornelius said, “Four days ago, I was fasting until this hour, and at the ninth hour, 3:00 P. M. I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,

³⁰លោកកូនេលាសមានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖«កាលពីបីថ្ងៃមុន ពេលខ្ញុំកំពុងអធិស្ឋាន ក្នុងផ្ទះខ្ញុំ នៅម៉ោងបីរសៀល មានបុរសម្នាក់ស្លៀកសម្លៀកបំពាក់ភ្លឺត្រចះត្រចង់មកឈរនៅមុខខ្ញុំ ហើយពោលថា"

³¹and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your gifts to the needy are remembered in the sight of God.

³¹"លោកកូនេលាសអើយ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទ្រង់ព្រះសណ្ដាប់ពាក្យទូលអង្វររបស់លោកហើយ រីឯទានរបស់លោក ក៏ព្រះអង្គមិនភ្លេចដែរ។

³²Send therefore to Joppa, and summon Simon, who is surnamed Peter. He lodges in the house of Simon a tanner, by the seaside. When he comes, he will speak to you.’

³²ឥឡូវនេះ ចូរចាត់គេអោយទៅហៅបុរសម្នាក់ឈ្មោះស៊ីម៉ូន ហៅពេត្រុស នៅក្រុងយ៉ុបប៉េមក។ គាត់ស្នាក់នៅផ្ទះរបស់លោកស៊ីម៉ូនជាអ្នកសម្លាប់ស្បែក ផ្ទះនោះស្ថិតនៅមាត់សមុទ្រ"។

³³Therefore I sent to you at once, and it was good of you to come. Now therefore we are all here present in the sight of God to hear all things that have been commanded you by God.”

³³ខ្ញុំក៏បានចាត់គេអោយទៅអញ្ជើញលោកភ្លាម លោកមកដូច្នេះជាការប្រពៃណាស់។ ឥឡូវនេះ យើងខ្ញុំទាំងអស់គ្នាស្ថិតនៅទីនេះចំពោះព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះជាម្ចាស់រង់ចាំស្ដាប់សេចក្ដីទាំងប៉ុន្មាន ដែលព្រះអម្ចាស់បានបង្គាប់មកលោក»។

³⁴Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism;

³⁴ពេលនោះ លោកពេត្រុសចាប់ផ្ដើមមានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖ «ឥឡូវនេះ ខ្ញុំបានយល់យ៉ាងច្បាស់ហើយថា ព្រះជាម្ចាស់រាប់រកមនុស្សទួទៅឥតរើសមុខឡើយ

³⁵but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.

³⁵ក្នុងចំណោមជាតិសាសន៍ទាំងប៉ុន្មាន អ្នកណាក៏ដោយអោយតែគោរពកោតខ្លាចព្រះអង្គ ហើយប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើសុចរិត ព្រះអង្គមុខជាគាប់ព្រះហឫទ័យនឹងអ្នកនោះមិនខាន។

³⁶The word which he sent to the children of Israel, preaching good news of peace by Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all—

³⁶ព្រះអង្គបានប្រទានព្រះបន្ទូលមកអោយជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែល ដោយនាំដំណឹងល្អ មកប្រាប់គេ អំពីសេចក្ដីសុខសាន្ដ តាមរយៈព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដ គឺព្រះយេស៊ូនេះហើយ ដែលជាព្រះអម្ចាស់លើមនុស្សទាំងអស់។

³⁷you yourselves know what happened, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

³⁷បងប្អូនជ្រាបហេតុការណ៍ដែលកើតឡើងនៅស្រុកយូដាទាំងមូលស្រាប់ហើយ ជាហេតុការណ៍ដែលបានចាប់ផ្ដើម នៅស្រុកកាលីឡេ គឺបន្ទាប់ពីពេលដែលលោកយ៉ូហានបានប្រកាសអោយបណ្ដាជនទទួលពិធីជ្រមុជទឹក។

³⁸even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

³⁸បងប្អូនបានជ្រាបថា ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានចាក់ព្រះវិញ្ញាណដ៏វិសុទ្ធ និង ឫទ្ធានុភាព អភិសេកព្រះយេស៊ូ ជាអ្នកភូមិណាសារ៉ែត។ បងប្អូនក៏ជ្រាបដែរថាព្រះយេស៊ូបានយាងពីកន្លែងមួយទៅកន្លែងមួយ ទាំងប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើល្អ និង ប្រោសអស់អ្នកដែលត្រូវមារ សង្កត់សង្កិនអោយបានជា ដ្បិតព្រះជាម្ចាស់គង់ជាមួយព្រះអង្គ។

³⁹We are witnesses of everything he did both in the country of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they also TR omits “also” killed, hanging him on a tree.

³⁹យើងជាបន្ទាល់អំពីកិច្ចការទាំងអស់ដែលព្រះអង្គបានធ្វើ នៅក្នុងដែនដីរបស់ជនជាតិយូដា និង នៅក្រុងយេរូសាឡឹម។ ពួកគេបាននាំគ្នាធ្វើគុតព្រះអង្គដោយព្យួរនៅលើឈើ។

⁴⁰God raised him up the third day, and gave him to be revealed,

⁴⁰ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានប្រោសព្រះអង្គអោយមានព្រះជន្មរស់ឡើងវិញនៅថ្ងៃទីបី និង ប្រោសប្រទានអោយព្រះអង្គបង្ហាញខ្លួន

⁴¹not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen before by God, to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

⁴¹ដល់អស់អ្នកដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានជ្រើសរើសជាមុនអោយធ្វើជាបន្ទាល់ បានឃើញ គឺយើងហ្នឹងហើយជាបន្ទាល់ដែលបានបរិភោគជាមួយព្រះអង្គ ក្រោយពេលព្រះអង្គមានព្រះជន្មរស់ឡើងវិញ។ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ពុំបានអោយព្រះយេស៊ូបង្ហាញខ្លួនអោយប្រជារាស្ដ្រទាំងមូលឃើញទេ។

⁴²He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that this is he who is appointed by God as the Judge of the living and the dead.

⁴²ព្រះយេស៊ូបានបញ្ជាអោយយើងធ្វើជាបន្ទាល់ប្រកាសប្រាប់ប្រជាជនថាព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានតែងតាំងព្រះអង្គអោយវិនិច្ឆ័យទោសមនុស្សរស់ និង មនុស្សស្លាប់។

⁴³All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.”

⁴³ព្យាការី ទាំងប៉ុន្មានសុទ្ធតែបានផ្ដល់សក្ខីភាពអំពីព្រះយេស៊ូថា អស់អ្នកដែលជឿលើព្រះអង្គ នឹងទទួលការលើកលែងទោសអោយរួចពីបាប ដោយសារព្រះនាមព្រះអង្គ»។

⁴⁴While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word.

⁴⁴លោកពេត្រុសកំពុងមានប្រសាសន៍នៅឡើយ ស្រាប់តែព្រះវិញ្ញាណដ៏វិសុទ្ធ យាងចុះមកសណ្ឋិតលើអស់អ្នកដែលស្ដាប់ព្រះបន្ទូល។

⁴⁵They of the circumcision who believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was also poured out on the Gentiles.

⁴⁵ពួកអ្នកជឿជាសាសន៍យូដា ដែលមកជាមួយលោកពេត្រុស ងឿងឆ្ងល់ណាស់ ដោយព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានចាក់បង្ហូរព្រះវិញ្ញាណដ៏វិសុទ្ធប្រទានអោយសាសន៍ដទៃដែរ

⁴⁶For they heard them speaking in other languages and magnifying God. Then Peter answered,

⁴⁶ព្រោះគេបានឮសាសន៍ដទៃទាំងនោះនិយាយភាសាចំឡែកអស្ចារ្យ ព្រមទាំងលើកតម្កើងព្រះជាម្ចាស់ផង។

⁴⁷“Can any man forbid the water, that these who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we should not be baptized?”

⁴⁷ពេលនោះលោកពេត្រុសមានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖ «គ្មាននរណាអាចឃាត់យើង មិនអោយធ្វើពិធីជ្រមុជទឹកជូនអស់អ្នកដែលបានទទួលព្រះវិញ្ញាណដ៏វិសុទ្ធ ដូចជាយើងបានទទួលដែរនោះទេ!»។

⁴⁸He commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay some days.

⁴⁸លោកក៏បញ្ជាអោយគេធ្វើពិធីជ្រមុជទឹក ជូនអ្នកទាំងនោះក្នុងព្រះនាមព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដ ។ បន្ទាប់មក ពួកគេសុំអោយលោកស្នាក់នៅជាមួយគេ បានយូរថ្ងៃបន្ដិចទៀត។
