¹For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of God Most High, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,

¹ព្រះបាទម៉ិលគីស្សាដែកនេះ ជាព្រះមហាក្សត្រនៅក្រុងសាឡឹម និង ជាបូជាចារ្យ របស់ព្រះដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់បំផុត។ ទ្រង់បានទៅជួបលោកអប្រាហាំ ដែលវិលមកពីវាយឈ្នះស្ដេចនានា ហើយទ្រង់ជូនពរលោក។

²to whom also Abraham divided a tenth part of all (being first, by interpretation, king of righteousness, and then also king of Salem, which is king of peace;

²លោកអប្រាហាំបានយកអ្វីៗទាំងអស់ដែលលោកមានចំនួនមួយភាគដប់ មកថ្វាយព្រះបាទម៉ិលគីស្សាដែក។ ព្រះនាមរបស់ស្ដេចអង្គនេះមានន័យថា«ស្ដេចប្រកបដោយសេចក្ដីសុចរិត» ហើយទ្រង់ជាស្ដេចក្រុងសាឡឹមថែមទៀតដែលមានន័យថា «ស្ដេចនៃសេចក្ដីសុខសាន្ដ»។

³without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God), remains a priest continually.

³ទ្រង់គ្មានមាតាបិតា និង គ្មានវង្សត្រកូលទេ ហើយជីវិតរបស់ស្ដេច ក៏គ្មានដើមកំណើត និង ចុងបញ្ចប់ដែរ។ ទ្រង់ដូចព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ហើយស្ថិតនៅជាបូជាចារ្យ រហូតតរៀងទៅ។

⁴Now consider how great this man was, to whom even Abraham, the patriarch, gave a tenth out of the best spoils.

⁴សូមបងប្អូនពិចារណាមើលចុះ ព្រះបាទម៉ិលគីស្សាដែកនេះមានឋានៈធំប៉ុនណា បានជាលោកអប្រាហាំបុព្វបុរស របស់យើង យកអ្វីៗដែលលោករឹបអូសបានពីចំបាំងចំនួនមួយភាគដប់មកថ្វាយដូច្នេះ!

⁵They indeed of the sons of Levi who receive the priest’s office have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brothers, though these have come out of the body of Abraham,

⁵អស់អ្នកក្នុងពូជពង្សរបស់លោកលេវី ដែលបានទទួលមុខងារជាបូជាចារ្យ នោះ ក៏បានទទួលបញ្ជាអោយហូតយកតង្វាយមួយភាគដប់ ពីប្រជាជនស្របតាម ក្រឹត្យវិន័យ គឺហូតយកពីអស់អ្នកជាសាច់ឈាមរបស់ខ្លួន ដែលជាពូជពង្សរបស់លោកអប្រាហាំដូចគ្នា។

⁶but he whose genealogy is not counted from them has accepted tithes from Abraham, and has blessed him who has the promises.

⁶ចំណែកឯព្រះបាទម៉ិលគីស្សាដែកវិញលោកគ្មានជាប់សាច់ញាតិអ្វីនឹងកូនចៅលោកលេវីទេ តែលោកបានយកទ្រព្យចំនួនមួយភាគដប់ពីលោកអប្រាហាំ! ទ្រង់ក៏ជូនពរដល់លោកអប្រាហាំដែលបានទទួលព្រះបន្ទូលសន្យា!

⁷But without any dispute the lesser is blessed by the greater.

⁷ធម្មតាអ្នកទទួលពរមានឋានៈតូចជាងអ្នកអោយពរ ត្រង់ចំណុចនេះ យើងពុំអាចប្រកែកបានឡើយ។

⁸Here people who die receive tithes, but there one receives tithes of whom it is testified that he lives.

⁸លោកលេវីដែលទទួលតង្វាយមួយភាគនោះជាមនុស្សរមែងតែងតែស្លាប់។ រីឯព្រះបាទម៉ិលគីស្សាដែកវិញ ទ្រង់មានព្រះជន្មរស់ដូចគម្ពីរបានបញ្ជាក់ស្រាប់។

⁹We can say that through Abraham even Levi, who receives tithes, has paid tithes,

⁹យើងអាចពោលអោយអស់សេចក្ដីថា សូម្បីតែលោកលេវី ដែលតែងទទួលតង្វាយមួយភាគដប់ ក៏បានយកអ្វីៗមួយភាគដប់ ថ្វាយព្រះបាទម៉ិលគីស្សាដែកតាមរយៈលោកអប្រាហាំដែរ

¹⁰for he was yet in the body of his father when Melchizedek met him.

¹⁰ដ្បិតនៅពេលដែលព្រះបាទម៉ិលគីស្សាដែក ទៅជួបលោកអប្រាហាំនោះ លោកលេវីស្ថិតនៅក្នុងលោកអប្រាហាំនៅឡើយ។

¹¹Now if there were perfection through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people have received the law), what further need was there for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

¹¹មុខងារបូជាចារ្យ ជាគ្រឹះនៃគម្ពីរវិន័យរបស់ប្រជារាស្ដ្រអ៊ីស្រាអែល។ ប្រសិនបើមុខងារជាបូជាចារ្យ បានគ្រប់លក្ខណៈដោយសារពួកលេវីហើយនោះ តើចាំបាច់តែងតាំងបូជាចារ្យមួយទៀតតាមរបៀប ព្រះបាទម៉ិលគីស្សាដែកធ្វើអ្វី? ម្ដេចក៏មិននិយាយពីបូជាចារ្យ តាមរបៀបលោកអើរ៉ុនទៅវិញ។

¹²For the priesthood being changed, there is of necessity a change made also in the law.

¹²ប្រសិនបើមានការផ្លាស់ប្ដូរមុខងារបូជាចារ្យ នោះក៏ត្រូវតែមានការផ្លាស់ប្ដូរក្រឹត្យវិន័យដែរ។

¹³For he of whom these things are said belongs to another tribe, from which no one has officiated at the altar.

¹³រីឯបូជាចារ្យដែលមានចែងក្នុងអត្ថបទទាំងនេះ ទ្រង់កើតក្នុងកុលសម្ព័ន្ធមួយដែលគ្មាននរណាម្នាក់ធ្លាប់ធ្វើជាបូជាចារ្យឡើយ។

¹⁴For it is evident that our Lord has sprung out of Judah, about which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

¹⁴យើងសុទ្ធតែបានដឹងច្បាស់ទាំងអស់គ្នាថា ព្រះអម្ចាស់នៃយើងប្រសូតមកក្នុងកុលសម្ព័ន្ធ យូដា។ ពេលលោកម៉ូសេនិយាយអំពីបូជាចារ្យ លោកពុំដែលនិយាយពីកុលសម្ព័ន្ធនេះទេ។

¹⁵This is yet more abundantly evident, if after the likeness of Melchizedek there arises another priest,

¹⁵ប្រសិនបើមានការតែងតាំងបូជាចារ្យមួយរូបទៀត ដូចព្រះបាទម៉ិលគីស្សាដែក សេចក្ដីនេះក៏រឹតតែច្បាស់ជាងទៅទៀត។

¹⁶who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

¹⁶ព្រះអង្គមិនបានទទួលមុខងារជាបូជាចារ្យ តាមវិន័យដែលជាបទបញ្ជារបស់មនុស្សឡើយ គឺទ្រង់បានទទួលមុខងារនេះតាមឫទ្ធានុភាពនៃព្រះជន្មមិនចេះសាបសូន្យ

¹⁷for it is testified, “You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.” Psalm 110:4

¹⁷ដ្បិតគម្ពីរបានផ្ដល់សក្ខីភាពអំពីព្រះអង្គថា «ព្រះអង្គជាបូជាចារ្យអស់កល្បតរៀងទៅ តាមរបៀបព្រះបាទម៉ិលគីស្សាដែក»។

¹⁸For there is an annulling of a foregoing commandment because of its weakness and uselessness

¹⁸ដូច្នេះ បទបញ្ជាដែលមានពីមុនមក ត្រូវលុបបំបាត់ចោលហើយព្រោះគ្មានប្រសិទ្ធភាពគ្មានសារៈប្រយោជន៍អ្វីទេ

¹⁹(for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

¹⁹ដ្បិតក្រឹត្យវិន័យពុំបានធ្វើអោយអ្វីមួយទៅជាគ្រប់លក្ខណៈឡើយ។ ម៉្យាងទៀតសេចក្ដីសង្ឃឹមមួយដ៏ប្រសើរជាងបានមកដល់ ហើយដោយសារសេចក្ដីសង្ឃឹមនេះយើងអាចចូល ទៅជិតព្រះជាម្ចាស់បាន។

²⁰Inasmuch as he was not made priest without the taking of an oath

²⁰លើសពីនេះ មានព្រះបន្ទូលសម្បថ។ បូជាចារ្យឯទៀតៗ បានទទួលមុខងារជាបូជាចារ្យ ដោយគ្មានព្រះបន្ទូលសម្បថទេ។

²¹(for they indeed have been made priests without an oath), but he with an oath by him that says of him, “The Lord swore and will not change his mind, ‘You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.’” Psalm 110:4

²¹រីឯព្រះយេស៊ូវិញ ទ្រង់បានទទួលមុខងារជាបូជាចារ្យ ដោយព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទ្រង់បានស្បថ គឺព្រះជាម្ចាស់មានព្រះបន្ទូលមកកាន់ព្រះអង្គថា «"ព្រះអង្គជាបូជាចារ្យអស់កល្បជានិច្ច" ព្រះអម្ចាស់ទ្រង់បានស្បថ ហើយទ្រង់នឹងមិនប្រែប្រួលឡើយ»។

²²By so much, Jesus has become the collateral of a better covenant.

²²ដូច្នេះ ដោយមានព្រះបន្ទូលសម្បថយ៉ាងនេះ បានសេចក្ដីថាព្រះយេស៊ូធានារ៉ាប់រង នូវសម្ពន្ធមេត្រី មួយរឹតតែប្រសើរជាងទៅទៀត។

²³Many, indeed, have been made priests, because they are hindered from continuing by death.

²³លើសពីនេះ មានគ្នាជាច្រើនបានធ្វើបូជាចារ្យតៗគ្នា ព្រោះពួកគេតែងតែស្លាប់ ពុំអាចធ្វើបូជាចារ្យជាអចិន្ដ្រៃយ៍បានឡើយ។

²⁴But he, because he lives forever, has his priesthood unchangeable.

²⁴រីឯព្រះយេស៊ូវិញ ព្រះអង្គមានមុខងារជាបូជាចារ្យ ដែលពុំអាចផ្ទេរទៅអោយនរណាបានទេ ព្រោះព្រះអង្គគង់នៅអស់កល្បជានិច្ច។

²⁵Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.

²⁵ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាព្រះអង្គក៏អាចសង្គ្រោះអស់អ្នកដែលចូលមកជិតព្រះជាម្ចាស់ តាមរយៈព្រះអង្គបានជាស្ថាពរ ដ្បិតព្រះអង្គមានព្រះជន្មរស់រហូត ដើម្បីទូលអង្វរព្រះជាម្ចាស់អោយពួកគេ។

²⁶For such a high priest was fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

²⁶មានតែមហាបូជាចារ្យដ៏ប្រសើរដូចព្រះយេស៊ូនេះ ហើយ ដែលយើងត្រូវការ គឺមហាបូជាចារ្យដ៏វិសុទ្ធ ស្លូតត្រង់ ឥតសៅហ្មង ខុសប្លែកពីមនុស្សបាប ព្រមទាំងខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់លើស ស្ថានបរមសុខ ទៅទៀត។

²⁷who doesn’t need, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices daily, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. For he did this once for all, when he offered up himself.

²⁷ព្រះអង្គមិនត្រូវការថ្វាយយញ្ញបូជារៀងរាល់ថ្ងៃ ដូចមហាបូជាចារ្យឯទៀតៗថ្វាយ ព្រោះបាបខ្លួនឯងផ្ទាល់ផង និង បាបប្រជាជនផងនោះឡើយ ដ្បិតព្រះអង្គបានថ្វាយព្រះកាយព្រះអង្គផ្ទាល់ជាយញ្ញបូជាម្ដងជាសូរេច។

²⁸For the law appoints men as high priests who have weakness, but the word of the oath which came after the law appoints a Son forever who has been perfected.

²⁸ក្រឹត្យវិន័យបានតែងតាំងមនុស្សទន់ខ្សោយអោយធ្វើជាមហាបូជាចារ្យ។ រីឯព្រះបន្ទូលសម្បថ ដែលមានមកតាមក្រោយក្រឹត្យវិន័យ បានតែងតាំងព្រះបុត្រាដែលគ្រប់លក្ខណៈអស់កល្បជានិច្ច អោយធ្វើជាមហាបូជាចារ្យវិញ។
