¹Now before the feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that his time had come that he would depart from this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

¹នៅមុនថ្ងៃបុណ្យចម្លង ព្រះយេស៊ូជ្រាបថា ដល់ពេលកំណត់ដែលព្រះអង្គត្រូវឆ្លងពីលោកនេះ ឆ្ពោះទៅព្រះបិតាហើយ។ ដោយព្រះអង្គស្រឡាញ់សិស្សរបស់ព្រះអង្គដែលរស់នៅក្នុងលោកនេះ ទ្រង់ក៏ស្រឡាញ់គេរហូតដល់ទីបំផុត។

²During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him,

²ពេលនោះ ព្រះយេស៊ូ និង ពួកសិស្សកំពុងបរិភោគអាហារ មារសាតាំង បានធ្វើអោយយូដាសអ៊ីស្ការីយ៉ុតជាកូនលោកស៊ីម៉ូន មានគំនិតនាំគេមកចាប់ព្រះអង្គ។

³Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came forth from God, and was going to God,

³ព្រះយេស៊ូជ្រាបថា ព្រះបិតាបានប្រគល់អ្វីៗទាំងអស់មកក្រោមអំណាចព្រះអង្គ ហើយជ្រាបថា ព្រះអង្គយាងមកពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់ និង យាងទៅឯព្រះជាម្ចាស់វិញ។

⁴arose from supper, and laid aside his outer garments. He took a towel, and wrapped a towel around his waist.

⁴ព្រះអង្គក្រោកឡើង ដោះព្រះពស្ដ្រចេញ យកក្រមាមកក្រវាត់ចង្កេះ។

⁵Then he poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

⁵បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះអង្គចាក់ទឹកក្នុងផើងមួយ រួចចាប់ផ្ដើមលាងជើងពួកសិស្ស ព្រមទាំងយកក្រមាពីចង្កេះមកជូតផង។

⁶Then he came to Simon Peter. He said to him, “Lord, do you wash my feet?”

⁶ពេលព្រះអង្គហៀបនឹងលាងជើងអោយលោកស៊ីម៉ូនពេត្រុស លោកទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ព្រះអម្ចាស់អើយ មិនសមនឹងព្រះអង្គលាងជើងអោយទូលបង្គំសោះ!»។

⁷Jesus answered him, “You don’t know what I am doing now, but you will understand later.”

⁷ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «ពេលនេះ អ្នកមិនទាន់ដឹងថា ខ្ញុំកំពុងធ្វើអ្វីឡើយ ថ្ងៃក្រោយអ្នកមុខ តែយល់ជាមិនខាន»។

⁸Peter said to him, “You will never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I don’t wash you, you have no part with me.”

⁸លោកពេត្រុសទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ទេ ព្រះអង្គមិនត្រូវលាងជើងទូលបង្គំជាដាច់ខាត!»។ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «ប្រសិនបើខ្ញុំមិនលាងជើងអ្នកទេ នោះអ្នកមិនអាចរួមជាមួយខ្ញុំតទៅទៀតបានឡើយ»។

⁹Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!”

⁹លោកស៊ីម៉ូនក៏ទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ព្រះអម្ចាស់អើយ បើដូច្នេះសូមកុំលាងតែជើងប៉ុណ្ណោះ សូមលាងទាំងដៃ ទាំងក្បាលផង»។

¹⁰Jesus said to him, “Someone who has bathed only needs to have his feet washed, but is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you.”

¹⁰ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលតបថា៖ «អ្នកដែលបានងូតទឹករួច មិនបាច់លាងខ្លួនទេ គឺលាងតែជើង ដ្បិតខ្លួនគេស្អាតបរិសុទ្ធ ទាំងមូលហើយ។ អ្នករាល់គ្នាបានស្អាតបរិសុទ្ធ តែមិនមែនគ្រប់គ្នាទេ»។

¹¹For he knew him who would betray him, therefore he said, “You are not all clean.”

¹¹ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា "អ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនមែនបរិសុទ្ធគ្រប់គ្នា"ដូច្នេះ មកពីព្រះអង្គជ្រាបអំពីអ្នកដែលហៀបនឹងនាំគេមកចាប់ព្រះអង្គ។

¹²So when he had washed their feet, put his outer garment back on, and sat down again, he said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?

¹²កាលព្រះយេស៊ូលាងជើងអោយគេរួចហើយ ព្រះអង្គស្លៀកពាក់ឡើងវិញ យាងមកតុ ទាំងមានព្រះបន្ទូលសួរទៅគេថា៖ «តើអ្នករាល់គ្នាយល់អំពីកិច្ចការដែលខ្ញុំបានធ្វើ ចំពោះអ្នករាល់គ្នានេះឬទេ?

¹³ You call me, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am.

¹³អ្នករាល់គ្នាហៅខ្ញុំថា ព្រះគ្រូ និង ព្រះអម្ចាស់ នោះត្រូវមែនគឺខ្ញុំហ្នឹងហើយ!។

¹⁴ If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

¹⁴បើខ្ញុំជាព្រះអម្ចាស់ និង ជាព្រះគ្រូបានលាងជើងអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាទៅហើយ អ្នករាល់គ្នាក៏ត្រូវតែលាងជើងអោយគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកដែរ។

¹⁵ For I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you.

¹⁵ខ្ញុំបានធ្វើជាគំរូអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាប្រព្រឹត្ដ ដូចខ្ញុំបានប្រព្រឹត្ដដល់អ្នករាល់គ្នា។

¹⁶ Most certainly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his lord, neither one who is sent greater than he who sent him.

¹⁶ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា អ្នកបំរើមិនដែលធំជាងម្ចាស់ឡើយ រីឯអ្នកដែលគេចាត់អោយទៅក៏មិនដែលធំជាងអ្នកចាត់ខ្លួនអោយទៅនោះដែរ។

¹⁷ If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

¹⁷ប្រសិនបើអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងសេចក្ដីនេះ ហើយប្រតិបត្ដិតាម អ្នករាល់គ្នាមុខជាមានសុភមង្គលមិនខាន។

¹⁸ I don’t speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen. But that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.’ Psalm 41:9

¹⁸ខ្ញុំនិយាយដូច្នេះ មិនមែនសំដៅលើអ្នកទាំងអស់គ្នាទេ ដ្បិតខ្ញុំស្គាល់អស់អ្នកដែលខ្ញុំបានជ្រើសរើស តែខ្ញុំនិយាយនេះ ដើម្បីអោយបានស្របតាមសេចក្ដីដែលមានចែងទុកក្នុងគម្ពីរថាៈ "អ្នកបរិភោគអាហារជាមួយខ្ញុំ បានប្រឆាំងនឹងខ្ញុំ"។

¹⁹ From now on, I tell you before it happens, that when it happens, you may believe that I am he.

¹⁹ខ្ញុំនិយាយប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នា ពីឥឡូវនេះ អោយហើយមុនការណ៍ទាំងនោះកើតមាន។ កាលណាការណ៍ទាំងនោះមកដល់អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងជឿថា ខ្ញុំពិតជាព្រះជាម្ចាស់មែន។

²⁰ Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.”

²⁰ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា អ្នកណាទទួលអ្នកដែលខ្ញុំនឹងចាត់អោយទៅ ក៏ដូចជាទទួលខ្ញុំ ហើយអ្នកណាទទួលខ្ញុំ ក៏ដូចជាទទួលព្រះអង្គដែលបានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមកនោះដែរ»។

²¹When Jesus had said this, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, “Most certainly I tell you that one of you will betray me.”

²¹កាល ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលដូច្នេះ ហើយ ព្រះអង្គរន្ធត់ព្រះហឫទ័យក្រៃលែង ទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលបញ្ជាក់ទៀតថា៖ «ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករាល់គ្នា មានម្នាក់នឹងនាំគេមកចាប់ខ្ញុំ»។

²²The disciples looked at one another, perplexed about whom he spoke.

²²ពួកសិស្ស ងាកមើលមុខគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក មិនដឹងថាព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលពីនរណា។

²³One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was at the table, leaning against Jesus’ breast.

²³សិស្សម្នាក់ដែលព្រះយេស៊ូស្រឡាញ់អង្គុយក្បែរព្រះអង្គ។

²⁴Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, and said to him, “Tell us who it is of whom he speaks.”

²⁴លោកស៊ីម៉ូនពេត្រុសធ្វើសញ្ញាអោយគាត់សួរព្រះយេស៊ូថា ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលពីនរណា។

²⁵He, leaning back, as he was, on Jesus’ breast, asked him, “Lord, who is it?”

²⁵សិស្សនោះក៏អោនទៅជិតព្រះឱរាព្រះយេស៊ូទូលសួរថា៖ «បពិត្រព្រះអម្ចាស់ តើនរណាមួយ?»។

²⁶Jesus therefore answered, “It is he to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.

²⁶ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលតបទៅគាត់ថា៖ «ខ្ញុំជ្រលក់នំបុ័ងមួយដុំហុចទៅអោយអ្នកណា គឺអ្នកនោះហើយ»។ ព្រះអង្គជ្រលក់នំបុ័ងមួយដុំហុចទៅអោយយូដាសអ៊ីស្ការីយ៉ុតជាកូនរបស់លោកស៊ីម៉ូន។

²⁷After the piece of bread, then Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.”

²⁷ពេលយូដាសទទួលដុំនំបុ័ងនោះ មារសាតាំង ក៏ចូលក្នុងចិត្ដគាត់។ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖«កិច្ចការដែលអ្នកត្រូវធ្វើ ចូរធ្វើអោយឆាប់ៗទៅ!»។

²⁸Now no man at the table knew why he said this to him.

²⁸ក្នុងបណ្ដាអស់អ្នកដែលនៅរួមតុ គ្មាននរណាម្នាក់យល់ថា ហេតុអ្វីបានជាព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលដូច្នេះឡើយ។

²⁹For some thought, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus said to him, “Buy what things we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor.

²⁹ដោយយូដាសកាន់ថង់ប្រាក់ អ្នកខ្លះនឹកស្មានថា ព្រះយេស៊ូប្រើគាត់អោយទៅទិញរបស់របរសំរាប់ពិធីបុណ្យ ឬ អោយយកប្រាក់ទៅចែកដល់ជនក្រីក្រ។

³⁰Therefore having received that morsel, he went out immediately. It was night.

³⁰យូដាសទទួលយកដុំនំបុ័ង រួចចេញទៅភ្លាម ពេលនោះ យប់ងងឹតហើយ។

³¹When he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.

³¹លុះយូដាសចេញផុតទៅ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឥឡូវនេះ បុត្រមនុស្សបានសំដែងសិរីរុងរឿងហើយ ហើយព្រះជាម្ចាស់ក៏បានសំដែងសិរីរុងរឿងក្នុងបុត្រមនុស្សដែរ។

³² If God has been glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him immediately.

³²បើព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានសំដែងសិរីរុងរឿងក្នុងបុត្រមនុស្ស ព្រះអង្គក៏នឹងសំដែងសិរីរុងរឿងរបស់បុត្រមនុស្ស ក្នុងព្រះអង្គផ្ទាល់ដែរ! ហើយព្រះអង្គនឹងសំដែងសិរីរុងរឿងរបស់បុត្រមនុស្សក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗខាងមុខនេះ។

³³ Little children, I will be with you a little while longer. You will seek me, and as I said to the Jews, ‘Where I am going, you can’t come,’ so now I tell you.

³³ម្នាលកូនចៅអើយ ខ្ញុំនៅជាមួយអ្នករាល់គ្នាតែមួយរយៈពេលដ៏ខ្លីទៀត។ អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងតាមរកខ្ញុំ ប៉ុន្ដែឥឡូវនេះ ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាដូចខ្ញុំបានប្រាប់ជនជាតិយូដាមកហើយដែរថា អ្នករាល់គ្នាពុំអាចទៅកន្លែងដែលខ្ញុំទៅនោះបានឡើយ។

³⁴ A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another.

³⁴ខ្ញុំអោយបទបញ្ជាថ្មីដល់អ្នករាល់គ្នា គឺត្រូវស្រឡាញ់គ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក។ អ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រូវស្រឡាញ់គ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក ដូចខ្ញុំបានស្រឡាញ់អ្នករាល់គ្នាដែរ។

³⁵ By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

³⁵បើអ្នកស្រឡាញ់គ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកមនុស្សទាំងអស់មុខជាដឹងថា អ្នករាល់គ្នាពិតជាសិស្ស របស់ខ្ញុំមែន»។

³⁶Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus answered, “Where I am going, you can’t follow now, but you will follow afterwards.”

³⁶លោកស៊ីម៉ូនពេត្រុស ទូលសួរព្រះអង្គថា៖ «បពិត្រព្រះអម្ចាស់ តើព្រះអង្គយាងទៅណា?»។ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលឆ្លើយថា៖ «កន្លែងដែលខ្ញុំទៅ អ្នកមិនអាចទៅតាមខ្ញុំនៅពេលនេះបានទេ ថ្ងៃក្រោយទើបអ្នកទៅបាន»។

³⁷Peter said to him, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”

³⁷លោកពេត្រុសទូលព្រះអង្គទៀតថា៖ «បពិត្រព្រះអម្ចាស់ ហេតុដូចម្ដេចបានជាទូលបង្គំមិនអាចទៅតាមព្រះអង្គឥឡូវនេះ? ទូលបង្គំសុខចិត្ដស៊ូប្ដូរជីវិតសំរាប់ព្រះអង្គ»។

³⁸Jesus answered him, “Will you lay down your life for me? Most certainly I tell you, the rooster won’t crow until you have denied me three times.

³⁸ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលតបថា៖ «អ្នកសុខចិត្ដស៊ូប្ដូរជីវិតសំរាប់ខ្ញុំមែន! តែខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នកដឹងច្បាស់ថា មុនមាន់រងាវ អ្នកនឹងបដិសេធបីដងថាមិនស្គាល់ខ្ញុំ»។
