¹Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to his disciples,

¹ពេលនោះ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូល ទៅកាន់មហាជន និង ពួកសិស្ស ថា៖

²saying, “The scribes and the Pharisees sat on Moses’ seat.

²«ពួកអាចារ្យ និង ពួកផារីស៊ី មានភារកិច្ចបង្រៀនគម្ពីរវិន័យរបស់លោកម៉ូសេ ។

³ All things therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do, but don’t do their works; for they say, and don’t do.

³អ្វីៗដែលគេបង្រៀនអ្នករាល់គ្នា ចូរស្ដាប់ ហើយយកទៅប្រតិបត្ដិតាមទៅតែកុំយកតំរាប់តាមអំពើដែលគេប្រព្រឹត្ដឡើយ ដ្បិតគេមិនប្រតិបត្ដិតាមសេចក្ដីដែលគេបង្រៀននោះទេ។

⁴ For they bind heavy burdens that are grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not lift a finger to help them.

⁴អ្នកទាំងនោះ បានបង្កើតវិន័យយ៉ាងតឹងរ៉ឹង យកមកផ្ទុកលើមនុស្ស ហើយមិនជួយសំរាលបន្ទុកនោះទេ សូម្បីតែបន្ដិចបន្ដួចក៏មិនជួយផង។

⁵ But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries phylacteries (tefillin in Hebrew) are small leather pouches that some Jewish men wear on their forehead and arm in prayer. ⁵គេធ្វើកិច្ចការផ្សេងៗ ដើម្បីអោយមនុស្សម្នាកោតសរសើរ គឺគេធ្វើក្លាក់ កាន់តែធំឡើងៗ និង ធ្វើខ្សែរំយោល នៅជាយអាវកាន់តែវែងទៅៗ។

⁶ and love the place of honor at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,

⁶ពួកគេចូលចិត្ដកន្លែងកិត្ដិយសក្នុងពិធីជប់លៀង ហើយរើសកន្លែងអង្គុយនៅមុខគេក្នុងសាលាប្រជុំ ។

⁷ the salutations in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi, Rabbi’ by men.

⁷ពួកនេះចូលចិត្ដអោយគេអោនកាយគោរព នៅតាមផ្សារ និង អោយគេហៅខ្លួនថា "ព្រះគ្រូ"។

⁸ But don’t you be called ‘Rabbi,’ for one is your teacher, the Christ, and all of you are brothers.

⁸រីឯអ្នករាល់គ្នាវិញ កុំបង្គាប់គេអោយហៅខ្លួនថា "ព្រះគ្រូ" សោះឡើយ ដ្បិតអ្នករាល់គ្នាមាន "ព្រះគ្រូ" តែមួយគត់ ហើយអ្នករាល់គ្នាសុទ្ធតែជាបងប្អូននឹងគ្នា។

⁹ Call no man on the earth your father, for one is your Father, he who is in heaven.

⁹កុំហៅនរណាម្នាក់នៅលើផែនដីនេះថា "ព្រះបិតា" អោយសោះ ដ្បិតអ្នករាល់គ្នាមាន"ព្រះបិតា"តែមួយគត់ ដែលគង់នៅស្ថានបរមសុខ។

¹⁰ Neither be called masters, for one is your master, the Christ.

¹⁰កុំអោយគេហៅអ្នករាល់គ្នាថា "មគ្គុទេសក៍"ឡើយ ដ្បិតមានតែព្រះគ្រិស្ដមួយព្រះអង្គប៉ុណ្ណោះ ដែលជាមគ្គុទេសក៍របស់អ្នករាល់គ្នា។

¹¹ But he who is greatest among you will be your servant.

¹¹ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករាល់គ្នា អ្នកណាមានឋានៈធំជាងគេ ត្រូវអោយអ្នកនោះបំរើអ្នករាល់គ្នា។

¹² Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

¹²អ្នកណាលើកតម្កើងខ្លួន អ្នកនោះនឹងត្រូវគេបន្ទាបចុះ។ រីឯអ្នកដែលបន្ទាបខ្លួន នឹងត្រូវគេលើកតម្កើងវិញ។

¹³ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and as a pretense you make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

¹³នែ៎! ពួកអាចារ្យ និង ពួកផារីស៊ី ដ៏មានពុតអើយ! អ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រូវវេទនាជាពុំខាន ព្រោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាបិទទ្វារ មិនអោយមនុស្សចូលទៅក្នុងព្រះរាជ្យ នៃស្ថានបរមសុខ អ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនត្រឹមតែមិនបានចូលខ្លួនឯងប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ គឺថែមទាំងរារាំងអ្នកដែលចង់ចូលមិនអោយគេចូលទៀតផង។

¹⁴ “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men; for you don’t enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those who are entering in to enter. Some Greek manuscripts reverse the order of verses 13 and 14, and some omit verse 13, numbering verse 14 as 13.

¹⁴[ពួកអាចារ្យ និង ពួកផារីស៊ី ដ៏មានពុតអើយ! អ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រូវវេទនាជាពុំខាន ព្រោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាឆបោកយកទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិរបស់ស្ដ្រីមេម៉ាយ ដោយធ្វើឫកជាសូត្រធម៌យ៉ាងយូរ។ ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាអ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រូវទទួលទោសយ៉ាងធ្ងន់មិនខាន ]។

¹⁵ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much of a son of Gehenna or, Hell as yourselves.

¹⁵ពួកអាចារ្យ និង ពួកផារីស៊ីដ៏មានពុតអើយ! អ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រូវវេទនាជាពុំខាន ព្រោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាធ្វើដំណើរតាមផ្លូវទឹក និង តាមផ្លូវគោក ស្វែងរកបញ្ចុះបញ្ចូលគេ អោយចូលសាសនារបស់អ្នករាល់គ្នា យ៉ាងហោចណាស់អោយបានមនុស្សម្នាក់ដែរ។ លុះគេចូលសាសនាហើយ អ្នករាល់គ្នាធ្វើអោយគេរឹតតែអាក្រក់ជួជាតិជាងអ្នករាល់គ្នាមួយទ្វេជាពីរ។

¹⁶ “Woe to you, you blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated.’

¹⁶ពួកអ្នកដឹកនាំកង្វាក់អើយ! អ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រូវវេទនាជាពុំខាន ព្រោះអ្នករាល់គ្នានិយាយថា"បើអ្នកណាស្បថដោយយកព្រះវិហារ ធ្វើជាសាក្សី ពាក្យសម្បថនោះយកជាការពុំបានទេ។ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ បើស្បថដោយយកមាសរបស់ព្រះវិហារធ្វើជាសាក្សី ទើបយកជាការបាន"។

¹⁷ You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifies the gold?

¹⁷មនុស្សលេលា កង្វាក់អើយ! មាស និង ព្រះវិហារដែលធ្វើអោយមាសទៅជាវត្ថុពិសិដ្ឋ តើមួយណាសំខាន់ជាង?។

¹⁸ ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obligated?’

¹⁸អ្នករាល់គ្នានិយាយទៀតថា "អ្នកណាស្បថ ដោយយកអាសនៈធ្វើជាសាក្សី ពាក្យសម្បថនោះ យកជាការពុំបានទេ។ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ បើស្បថដោយយកតង្វាយលើអាសនៈធ្វើជាសាក្សី ទើបយកជាការបាន"។

¹⁹ You blind fools! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?

¹⁹មនុស្សកង្វាក់អើយ! តង្វាយដែលគេថ្វាយលើអាសនៈ និង អាសនៈដែលធ្វើអោយតង្វាយទៅជាតង្វាយពិសិដ្ឋ តើមួយណាសំខាន់ជាង?។

²⁰ He therefore who swears by the altar, swears by it, and by everything on it.

²⁰ដូច្នេះអ្នកណាស្បថ ដោយយកអាសនៈជាសាក្សី អ្នកនោះមានទាំងអាសនៈ មានទាំងអ្វីៗនៅលើអាសនៈជាសាក្សីមែន។

²¹ He who swears by the temple, swears by it, and by him who was living NU reads “lives” in it.

²¹អ្នកណាស្បថដោយយកព្រះវិហារជាសាក្សី អ្នកនោះមានទាំងព្រះវិហារ មានទាំងព្រះជាម្ចាស់ដែលគង់នៅក្នុងព្រះវិហារ ជាសាក្សីដែរ។

²² He who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God, and by him who sits on it.

²²អ្នកណាស្បថដោយយកស្ថានបរមសុខជាសាក្សី អ្នកនោះមានទាំងបល្ល័ង្ករបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ មានទាំងព្រះជាម្ចាស់ដែលគង់នៅលើបល្ល័ង្កជាសាក្សី។

²³ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin, cumin is an aromatic seed from Cuminum cyminum, resembling caraway in flavor and appearance. It is used as a spice. and have left undone the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faith. But you ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.

²³ពួកអាចារ្យ និង ពួកផារីស៊ីដ៏មានពុតអើយ! អ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រូវវេទនាជាពុំខាន ព្រោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាយកជីរអង្កាម ជីរនាងវង និង ម្អមមួយភាគដប់មកថ្វាយព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ប៉ុន្ដែ អ្នករាល់គ្នាលះបង់ក្រឹត្យវិន័យ សំខាន់ៗចោល មានសេចក្ដីសុចរិត មេត្ដាករុណាធម៌ និង ជំនឿស្មោះត្រង់ ជាដើម។ វិន័យទាំងប៉ុន្មានប្រការនេះហើយ ដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រូវប្រតិបត្ដិតាមដោយឥតលះបង់ចោលប្រការឯទៀតៗ។

²⁴ You blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel!

²⁴អ្នកដឹកនាំកង្វាក់អើយ! អ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រងយកមូសចេញពីទឹកផឹក តែអ្នករាល់គ្នាលេបដំរីមួយទាំងមូលទៅវិញ!។

²⁵ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and unrighteousness. TR reads “self-indulgence” instead of “unrighteousness”

²⁵ពួកអាចារ្យ និង ពួកផារីស៊ីដ៏មានពុតអើយ! អ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រូវវេទនាជាពុំខាន ព្រោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាសំអាតពែង និង ចាន តែខាងក្រៅប៉ុណ្ណោះ ប៉ុន្ដែ ផ្នែកខាងក្នុងពោរពេញទៅដោយផលដែលកើតមកពីការកេងប្រវ័ញ្ច និង ការលោភលន់។

²⁶ You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the platter, that its outside may become clean also.

²⁶ពួកផារីស៊ីដ៏កង្វាក់អើយ! ចូរសំអាតផ្នែកខាងក្នុងពែងជាមុនសិន ទើបអ្វីៗនៅខាងក្រៅបានស្អាតបរិសុទ្ធ ដែរ។

²⁷ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.

²⁷ពួកអាចារ្យ និង ពួកផារីស៊ីដ៏មានពុតអើយ! អ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រូវវេទនាជាពុំខាន ព្រោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាប្រៀបបាននឹងផ្នូរ ដែលគេលាបកំបោរស មើលពីក្រៅឃើញហាក់ដូចជាស្អាត តែខាងក្នុងពោរពេញទៅដោយឆ្អឹងសាកសព និង ធាតុរលួយសព្វបែបយ៉ាង។

²⁸ Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

²⁸អ្នករាល់គ្នាក៏ដូច្នោះដែរ អ្នករាល់គ្នាសំដែងឫកពារខាងក្រៅអោយមនុស្សម្នាឃើញថា អ្នករាល់គ្នាសុចរិតតែចិត្ដអ្នករាល់គ្នាពោរពេញដោយគំនិតលាក់ពុត និង គំនិតទុច្ចរិតទៅវិញ។

²⁹ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and decorate the tombs of the righteous,

²⁹ពួកអាចារ្យ និង ពួកផារីស៊ីដ៏មានពុតអើយ!អ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រូវវេទនាជាពុំខាន ព្រោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានសង់ផ្នូរអោយពួកព្យាការី ព្រមទាំងតុបតែងផ្នូររបស់មនុស្សសុចរិត

³⁰ and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we wouldn’t have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’

³⁰ដោយពោលថាៈ"ប្រសិនបើយើងបានរស់នៅជំនាន់បុព្វបុរស នោះយើងមុខជាមិនសមគំនិតជាមួយគេក្នុងការសម្លាប់ពួកព្យាការីឡើយ"។

³¹ Therefore you testify to yourselves that you are children of those who killed the prophets.

³¹អ្នករាល់គ្នាពោលដូច្នេះ បានសេចក្ដីថាអ្នករាល់គ្នាចោទខ្លួនឯង ថាជាពូជពង្សរបស់ពួកអ្នកដែលបានសម្លាប់ព្យាការី។

³² Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers.

³²ដូច្នេះ ចូរបន្ដកិច្ចការរបស់បុព្វបុរសអ្នករាល់គ្នាអោយបានសំរេចទៅ!

³³ You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehenna or, Hell ?

³³នែ៎ ពួកពស់ពូជពស់វែកអើយ! ធ្វើម្ដេចអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាគេចផុតពីទោសធ្លាក់នរកបាន?។

³⁴ Therefore behold, I send to you prophets, wise men, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify; and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city;

³⁴ហេតុនេះ ខ្ញុំចាត់ព្យាការី អ្នកប្រាជ្ញ និង អាចារ្យអោយមករកអ្នករាល់គ្នា តែអ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងសម្លាប់ពួកគេខ្លះ ឆ្កាងខ្លះ និង វាយធ្វើបាបខ្លះក្នុងសាលាប្រជុំ ព្រមទាំងតាមបៀតបៀនគេពីក្រុងមួយទៅក្រុងមួយផង។

³⁵ that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom you killed between the sanctuary and the altar.

³⁵ដូច្នេះ អ្នករាល់គ្នាត្រូវទទួលទោស ព្រោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានបង្ហូរឈាមជនសុចរិត ចាប់ពីលោកអេបិលជាមនុស្សសុចរិតរហូតដល់លោកសាការី ជាបុត្ររបស់លោកបារ៉ាគាដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានសម្លាប់ នៅត្រង់ចន្លោះទីសក្ការៈ និង អាសនៈ ។

³⁶ Most certainly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.

³⁶ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានដឹងថា ទោសទាំងនោះនឹងត្រូវធ្លាក់មកលើមនុស្សជំនាន់នេះជាមិនខាន។

³⁷ “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!

³⁷«អ្នកក្រុងយេរូសាឡឹម អ្នកក្រុងយេរូសាឡឹមអើយ! អ្នករាល់គ្នាបានសម្លាប់ពួកព្យាការី និង យកដុំថ្មគប់សម្លាប់អស់អ្នកដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានចាត់អោយមករកអ្នករាល់គ្នា។ ច្រើនលើកច្រើនសាមកហើយដែលខ្ញុំចង់ប្រមូលផ្ដុំអ្នករាល់គ្នា ដូចមេមាន់ក្រុងកូនវានៅក្រោមស្លាប តែអ្នករាល់គ្នាពុំព្រមសោះ។

³⁸ Behold, your house is left to you desolate.

³⁸ហេតុនេះ ផ្ទះរបស់អ្នករាល់គ្នា នឹងត្រូវបោះបង់ចោលអោយនៅស្ងាត់ជ្រងំ។

³⁹ For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’” Psalm 118:26

³⁹ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាថា ពីពេលនេះទៅមុខ អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងលែងឃើញខ្ញុំទៀតហើយ រហូតដល់ពេលអ្នករាល់គ្នាពោលថាៈ "សូមព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រទានពរដល់ព្រះអង្គ ដែលយាងមកក្នុងនាមព្រះអម្ចាស់!"»។
