6Prašėme pagalbos egiptiečių ir asirų, kad bent duonos gautume.

15Mūsų širdies džiaugsmas dingo, žaidimai virto liūdesiu.
16The crown is fallen from our head: Woe to us! for we have sinned.

17For this our heart is faint; For these things our eyes are dim;

19You, Yahweh, remain forever; Your throne is from generation to generation.
19Bet Tu, Viešpatie, pasilieki per amžius. Tavo sostas lieka kartų kartoms.
20Why do you forget us forever, And forsake us so long time?
20Kodėl Tu mus taip ilgai užmiršai ir palikai?
21Turn us to yourself, Yahweh, and we shall be turned. Renew our days as of old.
21Viešpatie, sugrąžink mus pas save, ir mes sugrįšime. Atnaujink mus kaip anomis dienomis!
22But you have utterly rejected us; You are very angry against us.
22Argi Tu mus visiškai atstūmei ir rūstausi amžinai?
