1Moreover Yahweh answered Job,
1परमेश्वरले अय्यूबलाई जवाफ दिंदै भन्नुभयोः
2“Shall he who argues contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it.”
2“अय्यूब, तिमीले सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वरलाई दोषारोपण गरेका छौ। तिमीले गल्ती काम गर्यौ भनेर मलाई दोषी ठान्यौ। अब, त्यो मानिस जसले परमेश्वरलाई सही बनाउन चाहन्छ, मलाई जवाफ देऊ।”
3Then Job answered Yahweh,
3तब अय्यूबले परमेश्वरलाई जवाफ दिंदै भनेः
4“Behold, I am of small account. What shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
4“म तपाईंसित बात गर्ने अत्यन्तै तुच्छ हुँ। म तपाईंलाई के भन्न सक्छु? म तपाईंलाई जवाफ दिन सक्तिन। म आफ्नो मुखमा हात राखी बस्नेछु।
5I have spoken once, and I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further.”
5मैले एकपल्ट बोलें, तर म फेरि बोल्ने छैन। मैले दुइपल्ट बोलें, तर अब म केही पनि बोल्ने छैन।”
6Then Yahweh answered Job out of the whirlwind,
6तब फेरि तूफानबाट परमप्रभु परमेश्वर अय्यूबसित बोल्नुभयो। परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयोः
7“Now brace yourself like a man. I will question you, and you will answer me.
7“अय्यूब, आफैलाई संभाल अनि मैले सोधेको प्रश्नहरूको जवाफ दिन तयार होऊ।
8Will you even annul my judgment? Will you condemn me, that you may be justified?
8अय्यूब, के तिमी सोच्दछौ कि मैले अन्याय गरेको छु? तिमी भन्छौ कि गल्ती कामहरू गरेर म दोषी भएँ यसकारण तिमी निर्दोष भएर देखा पर्यौ।
9Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him?
9के तिम्रो पाखुराहरू परमेश्वरको पाखुरा भन्दा बलियो छ? परमेश्वरको आवाज जस्तै तिम्रो आवाज छ जुन मेघ गर्जन जस्तो ध्वनि छ?
10“Now deck yourself with excellency and dignity. Array yourself with honor and majesty.
10यदि तिमी परमेश्वर जस्तो छौ भने तब तिमी घमण्ड गर्न सक्दछौ। यदि तिमी परमेश्वर जस्तो छौ भने तब तिमीले महिमा र सम्मान लुगा जस्तै लगाउन सक्छौ।
11Pour out the fury of your anger. Look at everyone who is proud, and bring him low.
11यदि तिमी परमेश्वर जस्तै छौ भने तब तिमीले आफ्नो क्रोध देखाउन सक्छौ। ती घमण्डी मानिसहरूलाई सजाय दिन सक्छौ।
12Look at everyone who is proud, and humble him. Crush the wicked in their place.
12हो, अय्यूब। ती घमण्डी मानिसहरूलाई हेर अनि तिनीहरूलाई नम्र बनाऊ। ती दुष्ट मानिसहरूलाई जहाँ उभिएका छन् त्यहीं धूलो पारि देऊ।
13Hide them in the dust together. Bind their faces in the hidden place.
13सारा घमण्डी मानिसहरूलाई फोहोरमा गाडी देऊ। तिनीहरूको शरीरहरू बेरेर चिहानहरूमा राखी देऊ।
14Then I will also admit to you that your own right hand can save you.
14अय्यूब, यदि तिमीले यी सबै कुराहरू गर्न सक्छौ भने तब म पनि तिम्रो प्रशंसा गर्नेछु। अनि तिमीले आफ्नै शक्तिद्वारा आफैलाई बचाउन सक्षम छौ भनेर म स्वीकार्नेछु।
15“See now, behemoth, which I made as well as you. He eats grass as an ox.
15अय्यूब, जलगैडामा हेर। मैले जलगैडा बनाएँ अनि मैले तिमीलाई बनाएँ। जलगैडाले गाईले झैं घाँस खान्छ।
16Look now, his strength is in his thighs. His force is in the muscles of his belly.
16जलगैडसँग शरीरमा एकदम ज्यादा ताकत छ। उसको भुडीको मांसपेशीहरू एकदम शक्तिशाली छन।
17He moves his tail like a cedar. The sinews of his thighs are knit together.
17जलगैंडाको पुच्छर देवदारको रूख जस्तै कडा छ। उसको खुट्टाको माँसपेशीहरू एकदम बलिया छन्।
18His bones are like tubes of brass. His limbs are like bars of iron.
18जलगैंडाका हड्डीहरू पित्तल जस्ता दरिला छन्। उसको खुट्टाहरू फलामका शलाकाहरू जस्ता छन्।
19He is the chief of the ways of God. He who made him gives him his sword.
19जलगैंडा एकदम अद्भूत जन्तु हो जसलाई मैले बनाएँ। तर म त्यसलाई पराजित गर्न सक्छु।
20Surely the mountains produce food for him, where all the animals of the field play.
20जलगैंडाले पशुहरू चर्ने पहाडहरूमा उम्रने घाँस खान्छ।
21He lies under the lotus trees, in the covert of the reed, and the marsh.
21जलगैडा कमलको उद्भिद् मुनि पल्टिन्छ। जलगैंडा झार पातको दलदलमा लुक्दछ।
22The lotuses cover him with their shade. The willows of the brook surround him.
22कमल फूलको बोटले आफ्नो छाँयामा जलगैडालाई लुकाउँदछ। त्यो नदीको छेउमा उम्रने लहरे रूखहरू मुनि बस्दछ।
23Behold, if a river overflows, he doesn’t tremble. He is confident, though the Jordan swells even to his mouth.
23यदि नदीमा बाढी आए जलगैंडा भाग्दैन। यदि यर्दन नदी उसको अनुहारमा परे पनि त्यो डराउँदैन।
24Shall any take him when he is on the watch, or pierce through his nose with a snare?
24कुनै मानिसले पनि जलगैंडालाई अंकुसे लगाई पक्रन सक्तैन अनि पासो लगाउन सक्तैन।
