1Remember, Yahweh, what has come on us: Look, and see our reproach.
1हे परमप्रभु, याद गर्नुहोस्, हामीमा के घटेको थियो। हाम्रो अपमान हेर्नु होस्।
2Our inheritance is turned to strangers, Our houses to aliens.
2हाम्रो भूमि प्रदेशीहरूको हातमा सुम्पिदिए हाम्रा घरहरू विदेशीहरूलाई सुम्पिदिए।
3We are orphans and fatherless; Our mothers are as widows.
3हामी अनाथ भयौं। हाम्रा पिता छैनन्। हाम्रा आमाहरू विधवा जस्ती भएकि छिन्।
4We have drunken our water for money; Our wood is sold to us.
4हामीले पिउने पानी पनि किन्नु परेको छ। हामीले दाउराको पनि ज्याला तिर्नु परेको छ।
5Our pursuers are on our necks: We are weary, and have no rest.
5हामीलाई भञ्जयाङमा जुवा बोकेर लैजान जोर गरिइएकोछ। हामी थकित छौं र हामीलाई विश्राम छैन।
6We have given the hand to the Egyptians, To the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.
6रोटी पाउनका लागि हामीले मिश्रसँग एउटा सम्झौता गर्यौ। हामीले अश्शूरसंग एउटा सम्झौता गर्यौं।
7Our fathers sinned, and are no more; We have borne their iniquities.
7हाम्रा पिता-पुर्खाहरूले पाप गरेका थिए अनि तिनीहरू मरेका छन्। तिनीहरूको पापको कर्म अहिले हामीले भोगी रहेका छौं।
8Servants rule over us: There is none to deliver us out of their hand.
8जो ठीक हाम्रा नोकरहरू थिए तिनीहरू हाम्रा शासक भएका छन्। कसैले पनि हामीलाई तिनीहरूबाट बचाउन सकेनन्।
9We get our bread at the peril of our lives, Because of the sword of the wilderness.

10Our skin is black like an oven, Because of the burning heat of famine.
10हाम्रा छाला चुल्हा जस्तै तातेको छ। भोकको अतिशयाले गर्दा हामीलाई असाध्य ज्वरो आएको छ।
11They ravished the women in Zion, The virgins in the cities of Judah.
11शत्रुहरूले सियोनका स्त्रीहरूमाथि व्यभिचार गरेका छन्। तिनीहरूले यहूदाका शहरहरूमा तरूणीहरूलाई व्यभिचार गरेका छन्।
12Princes were hanged up by their hand: The faces of elders were not honored.
12हाम्रा राजकुमारहरूलाई शत्रुले झुण्ड्याएर मारेका छन्। तिनीहरूले हाम्रा बूढा-प्रधानहरूलाई सम्मान गरेका छैनन्।
13The young men bare the mill; The children stumbled under the wood.
13हाम्रा जवान छोराहरू शत्रुको कमारा छन् अनि हाम्रा छोराहरूका खुट्टा शत्रुहरूको भारी कामले लर्वरिन्छन्।
14The elders have ceased from the gate, The young men from their music.
14बूढा-प्रधानहरू शहरका मूल ढोकाहरूमा भेला हुन छाडीदिए। जवान मानिसहरूले संगीत बजाउन छाडीदिए।
15The joy of our heart is ceased; Our dance is turned into mourning.
15अब हाम्रो हृदयमा आनन्दको चिन्ह समेत पनि रहेन। हाम्रा नाचहरू शोक गीतमा परिवर्तन भएका छन्।
16The crown is fallen from our head: Woe to us! for we have sinned.
16मुकुट हाम्रो टाउकोबाट झरेर गयो। हामीले गरेको पापको कारणले, हामीमा खराब समय आएकोछ।
17For this our heart is faint; For these things our eyes are dim;
17ती कुराहरूको कारणले गर्दा, हाम्रा आँखाहरूले स्पष्ट देख्न छोड्यो।
18For the mountain of Zion, which is desolate: The foxes walk on it.
18सियोन पर्वत बाँझोभूमि भयो। स्यालहरू सियोन पर्वतको वरिपरि दर्गुछन्।
19You, Yahweh, remain forever; Your throne is from generation to generation.
19तर हे परमप्रभु। तपाईंले हामीमाथि सदैव शासन गर्नुभएको छ। तपाईंको सिंहासन सदाको लागि रहन्छ।
20Why do you forget us forever, And forsake us so long time?
20हे परमप्रभु, हामीलाई तपाईंले सदाको लागि बिर्से जस्तो देखियो। तपाईंले त्यस्तो लामो समयदेखि हामीलाई एक्लै छाडनु भयो।
21Turn us to yourself, Yahweh, and we shall be turned. Renew our days as of old.
21हे परमप्रभु, हामीलाई फेरि फर्काई तपाई कहाँ ल्याउनु होस्। हामीआनन्दले तपाई कहाँ फर्कने छौं। हामीहरूको जीवन पहिलेको जस्तै बनाईदिनु होस्।
22But you have utterly rejected us; You are very angry against us.
22तपाई हामीप्रति अति क्रोधित हुनुहुन्थ्यो। के तपाईले हामीलाई पूर्ण प्रकारले इन्कार गर्नु भयो?
