1I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.
1हर समय म परमप्रभुलाई धन्यको भन्छु। उहाँको स्तुति निरन्तर मेरो ओंठमा हुनेछ।
2My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.
2नम्र मानिसहरू! सुन र खुशी बन। मेरो प्राणले परमप्रभुको विषयमा घमण्ड गर्दछ।
3Oh magnify Yahweh with me. Let us exalt his name together.
3परमप्रभुको स्तुति मसँग गर र हामी मिलेर उहाँको नाउँको सम्मान गरौं।
4I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
4म परमेश्वरको संगत पाउनलाई उहाँकहाँ गएँ। अनि उहाँले मलाई उत्तर दिनुभयो। मेरा सब डरहरूबाट उहाँले मलाई बचाउनु भयो।
5They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.
5उहाँको पाउन परमप्रभुलाई हेर, लज्जित नहोऊ उहाँले तिमीलाई स्वीकार गर्नुहुने छ।
6This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
6यस दुःखी मानिसहले उहाँको पाउनलाई परमप्रभुलाई बोलायो। अनि परमप्रभुले मेरो कुरा सुन्नुभयो। उहाँले मलाई सबै संकटहरूबाट बचाउनुभयो।
7The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
7परमप्रभुको र्स्वगदूतले जुन मानिसहरूले परमप्रभुको अनुशरण गरे, उनीहरूको चारैतिर छाउनी बनाउँछ अनि तिनीहरूलाई बचाउँछन्। स्वर्गदूतहरूले तिनीहरूको रक्षा गरे।
8Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
8परमप्रभुलाई जाँच गरेर हेर, उहाँ कति असल हुनुहुन्छ। जुन मानिसले उहाँमाथि आश्रय राख्दछ ऊ अवश्य खुशी हुनेछ।
9Oh fear Yahweh, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him.
9परमप्रभुका पवित्र भक्तजनहरू उहाँको उपासना गर। उहाँ बाहेक परमप्रभुका भक्तजनहरूका लागि अरू कुनै सुरक्षित ठाउँ छैन।
10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing.
10बलवान मानिसहरू कमजोर र भोका हुनेछन्। तर जुन मानिसहरू सहयोग माग्न परमेश्वर कहाँ जान्छन् तिनीहरू मध्ये प्रत्येकले असल थोकहरू पाउनेछन्।
11Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.
11केटा-केटीहरू मलाई ध्यान देऊ, म तिमीहरूलाई परमेश्वरको आदर गर्ने तरिका सिकाउनेछु।
12Who is someone who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
12यदि कुनै मानिस आफ्नो जीवनलाई प्रेम गर्दछ र असल, लामो जीवन बाँच्न चाहन्छ भने,
13Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.
13तब त्यस मानिसहले अधर्म कुराहरू गर्नु हुँदैन; त्यस मानिसले झूटा कुराहरू त बोल्नुहुँदैन।
14Depart from evil, and do good. seek peace, and pursue it.
14नराम्रा कामहरू गर्नदेखि आफूलाई रोक! राम्रो, असल कुराहरू मात्र गर। शान्तिको पछाडी दगुर अनि त्यसलाई समात।
15Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.
15परमप्रभुले असल र राम्रो मानिसहरूको रक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ। उहाँले तिनीहरूको प्रार्थना सुन्नुहुन्छ।
16Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth.
16तर परमप्रभु ती मानिसहरूका विरूद्ध हुनुहुन्छ जसले नरम्रा कामहरू गर्छन्। उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई पूर्ण प्रकारले ध्वंश पारिदिनु हुन्छ!
17The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
17परमप्रभुलाई प्रार्थना गर र उहाँले सुन्नु हुनेछ। उहाँले तिमीहरूका सबै संकष्टहरूबाट बचाउनु हुनेछ।
18Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
18जब कष्टले सताँउछ केही मानिसहरू नम्र हुन्छन्। परमप्रभु तिनीहरूको नजिक हुनुहुन्छ। अनि उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई बचाउनु हुन्छ।
19Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.
19धार्मिक मानिसहरूका धेरै समस्याहरू हुन सक्छन्, तर परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूका प्रत्येक समस्याबाट बचाँउनु हुनेछ।
20He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.
20परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूका सम्पूर्ण हड्डीहरू जोगाउनु हुनेछ। एउटा पनि हड्डी भाँचिन दिनु हुनेछैन।
21Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
21तर दुष्टहरूलाई संकष्ट र दुःखले मार्ने छन्। असल मानिसहरूका शत्रुहरू ध्वंश हुने नै छन्।
22Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.
22हे परमप्रभु, हामी साँचो मनले तपाईंलाई पूज्दछौं! यसर्थ हामीलाई तपाईंको महान् प्रेम दर्शाउनुहोस्। दाऊदको एउटा भजन।
