¹Yahweh reigns! Let the earth rejoice! Let the multitude of islands be glad!

¹परमप्रभुले राज गर्नु हुन्छ र पृथ्वी खुशी हो। सबै सुदूरतिरका देशहरू खुशी हुन्छन्।

²Clouds and darkness are around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

²बाक्लो बादलहरूले परमप्रभुलाई घेरी राखेको छ। धर्म र न्यायले यस राज्यलाई बलियो बनाउँदछ।

³A fire goes before him, and burns up his adversaries on every side.

³परमप्रभुको सामुन्नेबाट एउटा आकाश जाँदछ अनि उहाँका शत्रुहरूलाई नाश गर्दछ।

⁴His lightning lights up the world. The earth sees, and trembles.

⁴उहाँको बिजुली आकाशमा झलाक-झिलिक चम्किन्छ। मानिसहरू यसलाई देख्छन् र डराउछन्।

⁵The mountains melt like wax at the presence of Yahweh, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

⁵परमप्रभुको, समक्ष पर्वतहरू मैन जस्तो पग्लन्छन्, सारा पृथ्वीका स्वामीको सामुन्ने।

⁶The heavens declare his righteousness. All the peoples have seen his glory.

⁶हे आकाश, उहाँको धार्मिकताको बारे बताऊ। ताकि परमेश्वरको महिमा सारा मानिसहरूले देखुन।

⁷Let all them be shamed who serve engraved images, who boast in their idols. Worship him, all you gods!

⁷मानिसहरू आफ्ना मूर्तिहरू पूजा गर्छन्। तिनीहरू आफ्ना “देवताहरूका” विषयमा घमण्ड गर्दछन्। तर ती मानिसहरू लज्जित हुनेछन्। तिनीहरूका “देवताहरू” शिर झुकाएर परमप्रभुलाई उपासना गर्नेछन्।

⁸Zion heard and was glad. The daughters of Judah rejoiced, because of your judgments, Yahweh.

⁸हे सियोन, सुन अनि खुशी बन! हे यहूदाका शहरहरू, खुशी होऊ। किन? किनभने परमप्रभुले बुद्धिमानी निर्णयहरू गर्नु भयो।

⁹For you, Yahweh, are most high above all the earth. You are exalted far above all gods.

⁹सर्वोच्च परमप्रभु, तपाईं नै वास्तवमा पृथ्वीका शासक हुनुहुन्छ। तपाईं अन्य “देवताहरू” भन्दा धेरै असल हुनहुन्छ।

¹⁰You who love Yahweh, hate evil. He preserves the souls of his saints. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

¹⁰मानिसहरू जसले परमप्रभुलाई प्रेम गर्दछ उसले दुष्टतालाई घृणा गर्छ। परमेश्वरले धूर्तहरूबाट उहाँका भक्तजनहरूलाई बचाउँनु हुँदछ।

¹¹Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

¹¹धर्मी मानिसहरूमा उज्यालो र खुशीयाली चम्कन्छ।

¹²Be glad in Yahweh, you righteous people! Give thanks to his holy Name.

¹²धर्मी मानिसहरू, परमप्रभुमा खुशी रहौं! उहाँको पवित्र नाउँको श्रद्धा गर!
