¹He showed me a TR adds “pure” river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

¹ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਜਲ ਦਾ ਦਰਿਆ ਵਿਖਾਇਆ। ਨਦੀ ਬਲੌਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਚਮਕ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਨਦੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਲੇ ਦੇ ਤਖਤ ਤੋਂ ਵਗਦੀ ਸੀ।

²in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

²ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਗਲੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਵਗਦੀ ਹੈ। ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਕੰਢਿਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਰੁੱਖ ਸੀ। ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਰੁੱਖ ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਰੀਂ ਫ਼ਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਹਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਫ਼ਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

³There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him.

³ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਸਣਾ ਹੋਰ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਲੇ ਦਾ ਤਖਤ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

⁴They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

⁴ਉਹ ਉਸਦਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਥਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

⁵There will be no night, and they need no lamp light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.

⁵ਉਥੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਰਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀਵੇ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਜਾਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਦੀ ਲੋਡ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

⁶He said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his bondservants the things which must happen soon.”

⁶ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, "ਇਹ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੱਚੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਯੋਗ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਤਮਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਦੂਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੀਆਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਰਨੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।"

⁷ “Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

⁷"ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੋ ਮੈਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਜਿਹਡ਼ਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

⁸Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.

⁸ਮੈਂ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਦੇਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਨਣ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਖਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੂਤ ਦੇ ਚਰਣਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ ਨਿਵਾਇਆ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਈਆਂ।

⁹He said to me, “See you don’t do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

⁹ਪਰ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, "ਮੇਰੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੀ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ, ਵਰਗਾ ਇੱਕ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।"

¹⁰He said to me, “Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.

¹⁰ਫ਼ਿਰ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦੇ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਪਤ ਨਾ ਰਖ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਨੇਡ਼ੇ ਹੈ।

¹¹He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still.”

¹¹ਜਿਹਡ਼ਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਬੁਰਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਬੁਰਾ ਕਰੀ ਜਾਣ ਦਿਓ। ਜਿਹਡ਼ਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਗੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਗੰਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਜਾਣ ਦਿਓ। ਜਿਹਡ਼ਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਓਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਧਰਮੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਉਹੋ ਕਰੀ ਜਾਣ ਦਿਓ ਜੋ ਧਰਮੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹਡ਼ਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਿਓ।"

¹² “Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.

¹²ਸੁਣੋ। ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਛੇਤੀ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਨਾਮ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਲ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।

¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

¹³ਮੈਂ ਅਲਫ਼ਾ ਤੇ ਉਮੇਗਾ ਹਾਂ, ਪਹਿਲਾ ਤੇ ਆਖਰੀ, ਆਦਿ ਤੇ ਅੰਤ।

¹⁴ Blessed are those who do his commandments, NU reads “wash their robes” instead of “do his commandments”. that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

¹⁴"ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੋਲੇ ਧੋਤੇ ਹਨ, ਸੁਭਾਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਲ ਖਾਣ ਦਾ ਇਖਤਿਆਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਬੂਹਿਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਿਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

¹⁵ Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

¹⁵ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ, ਉਥੇ ਕੁੱਤੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਜੋ ਜਾਦੂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨਸੀ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਝੂਠ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ।

¹⁶ I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David; the Bright and Morning Star.”

¹⁶"ਮੈਂ, ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੂਤ ਭੇਜਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਔਲਾਦ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਸਵੇਰ ਦਾ ਚਮਕਦਾ ਸਿਤਾਰਾ ਹਾਂ।"

¹⁷The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” He who hears, let him say, “Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

¹⁷ਆਤਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਡ਼ੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, "ਆਓ।" ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੋਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ, "ਆਓ।" ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਪਿਆਸਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਦਿਓ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਪਾਨੀ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਗਾਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੀਣ ਦਿਉ।

¹⁸I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book.

¹⁸ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦੀ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਜੋਡ਼ਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ।

¹⁹If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

¹⁹ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਢਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਲੈ ਲਵੇਗਾ। ਜਿਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ।

²⁰He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I come quickly.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus.

²⁰ਯਿਸੂ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹਡ਼ਾ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੱਚ ਹਨ। ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, "ਤਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।" ਆਮੀਨ, ਆਓ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ।

²¹The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.
