2 Chronicles

26

1All the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the place of his father Amaziah.
1Huan, Juda mi tengtengin kum sawm leh kum guka upa Uzia a pi ua, a pa Amazia sikin kumpipa dingin a bawlta uhi.
2He built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers.
2Aman kumpipa a pi leh pute kianga a ihmut nungin Elot khua a bawl phaa, Juda gamah a pangsak nawna.
3Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began to reign; and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Jechiliah, of Jerusalem.
3Uzia bel a lal pattungin kum sawm leh kum guka upa ahi a, Jerusalem ah kum sawmnga leh kum nih a lala, a nu min Jekilia, Jerusalem mi ahi a.
4He did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, according to all that his father Amaziah had done.
4Huan, a pa Amazia thilhih bangbang hih samin TOUPA mitmuhin thil hoih tak a hih sek hi.
5He set himself to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the vision of God: and as long as he sought Yahweh, God made him to prosper.
5Pathian kilakna thei siam Zekaria dam sungin Pathian zongdingin a kibawl chintena: Pathian a zon sung tengin Pathianin a lamzang sak jel hi.
6He went forth and warred against the Philistines, and broke down the wall of Gath, and the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod; and he built cities in the country of Ashdod, and among the Philistines.
6Philistiate sim dingin a kuan khiaa, Gat kulhte, Jabne kulhte, Asdod kulhte a hihchima; huan Asdod gamah leh philistiate lakah te khua a bawl hi.
7God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians who lived in Gur Baal, and the Meunim.
7Huan, Pathianin Philistiate lakah leh Gur-baala om Arabiate leh Meunimte lakahte a panpih a.
8The Ammonites gave tribute to Uzziah: and his name spread abroad even to the entrance of Egypt; for he grew exceeding strong.
8Huan, Amonten Uzia lakah siah a liau sek ua; huchiin Aigupta gam tanin a minthanna a nadalhtaa; a honghat mahmah jiakin.
9Moreover Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning of the wall, and fortified them.
9Huan, Uziain Jerusalem an ning kongpi ah te, guam kongpi ah te, kulh kawina lai kongpi ah te in sang a lam laia, kulhin a um hi.
10He built towers in the wilderness, and dug out many cisterns, for he had much livestock; in the lowland also, and in the plain: and he had farmers and vineyard keepers in the mountains and in the fruitful fields; for he loved farming.
10Huan, gamdai ah leng in sang a lama, gam tampi a neih jiakin tui te a let khe teptup maimaha, phailam leh phaijang te ah leng; huan, lou nei mite leh uain suk mite tang lamah leh gam hoih ahte a neia, louma lam limsak mi tak ahi.
11Moreover Uzziah had an army of fighting men, who went out to war by bands, according to the number of their reckoning made by Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the officer, under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king’s captains.
11Huan, Uziain sepaih kidou mi kumpipa sepaih heutu Heutu Hanani nuaia mi laigelhmi Jeiel leh heutu Maasei ten a seh bang jel ua apawlpawl a galkap mi a nei lai hi.
12The whole number of the heads of fathers’ households, even the mighty men of valor, was two thousand and six hundred.
12Mi hat hangsan chiat, a inkuan upate tengteng sangnih leh zaguk ahi uhi.
13Under their hand was an army, three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred, who made war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy.
13Huan, a nuai uah sepaih sin siamsa ngen nuaithum leh sang nih leh za nga melma laka kumpipa panpihmi gal sualmi taktak a om uhi.
14Uzziah prepared for them, even for all the army, shields, and spears, and helmets, and coats of mail, and bows, and stones for slinging.
14Huan, Uziain sepaih tengteng a dingin lum te, tei te, sik lukhu te, sik puannak te, thal peu te, vaisuanglot a dingin suangte a kisakhola.
15He made in Jerusalem engines, invented by skillful men, to be on the towers and on the battlements, with which to shoot arrows and great stones. His name spread far abroad; for he was marvelously helped, until he was strong.
15Huan, Jerusalem ah in sang leh kulh ning chiha koiha thal nanakapna leh suang lian kuamkuam a nanadenna ding, mi pilte theih khiak khawlte a bawla; amin gam chih mual chihah a thangtaa; a honghat mahmah tanin alama lamdanga panpihin a om hi.
16But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up, so that he did corruptly, and he trespassed against Yahweh his God; for he went into Yahweh’s temple to burn incense on the altar of incense.
16Himahleh a honghat nungin a lungsim a hongsana, hoih lou hialin thil a hiha, TOUPA a Pathian tungah thil a hihkhialtaa; gimlim maitama gimlim hal dingin TOUPA biakin ah a lut maimah hi.
17Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him eighty priests of Yahweh, who were valiant men:
17Huan, siampu Azariain a juia, mi hang taktak TOUPA siampu sawmgiat a tel tei ua;
18and they resisted Uzziah the king, and said to him, “It isn’t for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to Yahweh, but for the priests the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to burn incense. Go out of the sanctuary; for you have trespassed; neither shall it be for your honor from Yahweh God.”
18Huan, kumpipa Uzia a kham ua a kiangah, Uria aw, TOUPA dinga gimlim hal na hih ding ahi kei hi, gimlim hal dinga hihtuam Aron tapa siampute hih ding ahi jaw hi; mun siangthou akipan pawt khiain; thil na hihkhial ahi hi; TOUPA pathian laka na thupina ding leng ahi tuan kei hi, a chi ua.
19Then Uzziah was angry; and he had a censer in his hand to burn incense; and while he was angry with the priests, the leprosy broke forth in his forehead before the priests in the house of Yahweh, beside the altar of incense.
19Huchiin, Uzia a hehtaa; gimlim halna ding mei lakna a tawia, huan, huchia siampute tunga a heh lai takin TOUPA in ah, gimlim halna chin ah siampute maah a a talah a hongphak kheta hi.
20Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked on him, and behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out quickly from there; yes, himself hurried also to go out, because Yahweh had struck him.
20Huan, siampu heutu Azaria leh siampu tengtengin a en ua, ngaiin, a talah a hongphaka, huai akipanin a vik khe pah ua, ahi, TOUPAN a gawt jiakin amah leng kintak mahin a pawtkhe tahi.
21Uzziah the king was a leper to the day of his death, and lived in a separate house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of Yahweh: and Jotham his son was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land.
21Huchiin kumpipa Uzia bel a sih ni tanin a phaktaa, a phak jiakin a in tuamah a omtaa: TOUPA in akipan hihkhiakin a om taa, huchiin a tapa Jotham bel a gam ua mite vaihawmin kumpipa ina ukpa dingin a omta hi.
22Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, wrote.
22Huchiin, Uzia thilhih dang tengteng bel a bul akipana a tawp phain Amoz tapa jawlnei Isaiin a gelh hi.Huchiin, Uzia bel a pi leh a pute kiangah a ihmu a, kumpipa a kivuina muna a pi leh a pute lakah a vui uh. Amah jaw phak ahi ngala, a chi ua: huan, a tapa jotham a sikin a lalta hi.
23So Uzziah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the field of burial which belonged to the kings; for they said, “He is a leper.” Jotham his son reigned in his place.
23Huchiin, Uzia bel a pi leh a pute kiangah a ihmu a, kumpipa a kivuina muna a pi leh a pute lakah a vui uh. Amah jaw phak ahi ngala, a chi ua: huan, a tapa jotham a sikin a lalta hi.
