2 Chronicles

30

1Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of Yahweh at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel.
1Huan, Hezekiain Israel gam leh Juda gam tengteng ah mi a sawla, Ephraim gam leh Manasi gamah te leng TOUPA Israelte Pathian dingin paikan ankuang nei dinga Jerusalema TOUPA ina hongpai dingin lai a khak laia.
2For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the assembly in Jerusalem, to keep the Passover in the second month.
2Kumpipa leh a miliante leh Jerusalema mipi tengtengin kha nihna ah, paikan ankuang neih a sawm uh.
3For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves in sufficient number, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
3Huai laiin a lui thei nai kei ua, siampu kihihsiangthoute a tam hun nai kei ua, Jerusalema mipi a kikaihkhop nai louh jiak un.
4The thing was right in the eyes of the king and of all the assembly.
4A thil sawm uh kumpipa leh mipite ngaihin a dika.
5So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem: for they had not kept it in great numbers in such sort as it is written.
5Huchiiin Israel gam tengteng, Beerseba akipana Dan phanin TOUPA Israelte Pathian adin paikan ankuang nei dinga Jerusalema hongpai dinga phuan dingin thu a hihkipta hi: a dan bang takin huchibanga tamin a hihngei nai kei uhi.
6So the couriers went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, “You children of Israel, turn again to Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that he may return to the remnant that have escaped of you out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
6Huchiin lai taipihmite kumpipa leh a miliante uh lai tawiin, Israel leh Juda gam tengtenga pai dingin kumpipa thupiak bangin a pawt ua, Nou Israel suante aw, Suria kumpipate khut akipan pawta a damlai sunte lam a hongngat nawn theihna dingin TOUPA, Abraham te, Isaak te, Israel te Pathian lam hongnga nawn un.
7Don’t be like your fathers, and like your brothers, who trespassed against Yahweh, the God of their fathers, so that he gave them up to desolation, as you see.
7Nou jaw na pi leh pute uh leh na unaute uh, TOUPA a pi leh pute uh Pathian tunga thil hihkhiala om, segawp dinga a donsaklouh na muhte uh bangin om tei kei un.
8Now don’t be stiff-necked, as your fathers were; but yield yourselves to Yahweh, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified forever, and serve Yahweh your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you.
8Na pi leh pute uh bangin genhak tei nawn kei unla, TOUPA kiangah kitulut jaw unla, khantawn adia a hihsiangthou, a mun siangthou ah honglut unla, TOUPA na Pathian uh na sem un, huchiin a hehna thupi tak na lak ua kipan a kiheimang sak ding hi.
9For if you turn again to Yahweh, your brothers and your children shall find compassion before those who led them captive, and shall come again into this land: for Yahweh your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.”
9TOUPA lam na hongngat nawn uleh na unaute uh leh na tate uh sala manmiten a hehpih ding ua, hiai gamah a hongpai nawn ding uhi: TOUPA na Pathian uh lah chingthei tak leh zahngai thei tak ahi ngala, amah lam na hong ngat peuhmah uleh a honnuse kei ding hi, chiin.
10So the couriers passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, even to Zebulun: but they ridiculed them, and mocked them.
10Huchiin lai taipihmite kho chih ah Ephraim leh Manasi gam tengteng ah Zebulun phain a pai ua: himahleh amau a nanuihzat ua, anasimmoh ua.
11Nevertheless certain men of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
11Ahihhangin Aserte leh Manasite leh Zebulunte tampi a kitulut ua, Jerusalem ah a hoh uh.
12Also on Judah came the hand of God to give them one heart, to do the commandment of the king and of the princes by the word of Yahweh.
12Juda gam te ngial houh TOUPA thua kumpipa leh miliante thupiak jui dingin Pathianin lungsim mun khat a pu sak hi.
13Many people assembled at Jerusalem to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great assembly.
13Huchiin kha nihnaah tanghou silngou soh louh ankuang nei dingin mi tampi Jerusalem ah a hong kikhawm ek uh, a tam pha mahmah uhi.
14They arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.
14Huan, a thou ua, Jerusalema maitam te a la ua, huan, gimlim halna maitam te leng a la ua, Kidron lui ah a pai uh.
15Then they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought burnt offerings into the house of Yahweh.
15Huchiin kha nihna ni sawm leh ni li niin paikan ankuangluina a gou ua; huan, siampute leh Levite a kizumpih ua, a kihihsiangthou ua, halmang thillat TOUPA in ah a la lut uhi.
16They stood in their place after their order, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood which they received of the hand of the Levites.
16Huan, Pathian mi Mosi dan bang takin amau mun chiat ah a ding ua; huan, siamputen Levite akipana a tan uh sisan a theh uh.
17For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves: therefore the Levites were in charge of killing the Passovers for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to Yahweh.
17Mipi lakah lah kihihsiangthou lou a tam ngal ua; huaijiakin TOUPA adinga hihsiangthou dingin a siangthouloute tuam dingin Leviten paikan ankuangluina a gou uhi.
18For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise than it is written. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, “May the good Yahweh pardon everyone
18Ephraim mite, Manasi mi te, Isakar mi te, Zebulun mite tampi a kihihsiangthou kei na ua, dan lou bangin paikan ankuangluina a ne tei uh. Himahleh Hezekia amau adingin a thuma, Chingthei TOUPAN.
19who sets his heart to seek God, Yahweh, the God of his fathers, even if they aren’t clean according to the purification of the sanctuary.”
19Mi chih a lungtanga TOUPA a pipute Pathian, Pathian zong, munsiangthou siansakna dungjuiin kisaingsak keimah leh, ngaidam hen, chiin.
20Yahweh listened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
20Huan, TOUPAN Hezekia thumna a ngaikhiaa, mipite a hihdamtaa.
21The children of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness; and the Levites and the priests praised Yahweh day by day, singing with loud instruments to Yahweh.
21Huan, Israel mi Jerusalem omten tanghou silngou sohlouh ankuangluina nuamsa takin ni sagih a zang ua; huan, Levite leh siamputen kaihging ngaihtak toh TOUPA pahtawia lasain ni tengin TOUPA a phat uh.
22Hezekiah spoke comfortably to all the Levites who had good understanding in the service of Yahweh. So they ate throughout the feast for the seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings, and making confession to Yahweh, the God of their fathers.
22Huan, Hezekiain siam tak maiin TOUPA kilawm tak phat Levite a nalungmuan hi. Huchiin TOUPA a pi le pute uh Pathian kianga thupha tawiin lemna thilatte lanin ni sagih sung ankuangluina a ne tawntung uh.
23The whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days; and they kept another seven days with gladness.
23Huan, mipiin ni sagih dang ankuanglui nawn a sawm ua; huchiin ni sagih dang nuamsa takin ankuang a lui nawn uh.
24For Hezekiah king of Judah gave to the assembly for offerings one thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
24Huan, Juda kumpipa Hezekiain mipite bawngtal sang khat leh belam sang sagih goh dingin a piaa; milianten leng mipite bawngtal sang khat leh belam sing khat a pe sam uh; siampu tampite a kihihsiangthou uh.
25All the assembly of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the assembly who came out of Israel, and the foreigners who came out of the land of Israel, and who lived in Judah, rejoiced.
25Huchiin Juda mipi tengteng siampute toh Levite toh, Israel gam akipana mipi hongpai tengteng leh nam dang Israel gam akipana hongpai Juda gama nuam a sa petpet uhi.
26So there was great joy in Jerusalem; for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.
26Huchiin nuamsakna thupi tak Jerusalem ah a oma: Israel kumpipa David tapa Solomon chiangah huchibang himhim Jerusalem ah a om ngeinai kei hi.Huchiin siampu Levite a thou ua, mipite a vualjawl ua, a aw uh ngaihkhiakin a oma, a thumna un a omna siangthou van a pha uh.
27Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even to heaven.
27Huchiin siampu Levite a thou ua, mipite a vualjawl ua, a aw uh ngaihkhiakin a oma, a thumna un a omna siangthou van a pha uh.
