Isaiah

51

1“Listen to me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek Yahweh: look to the rock you were cut from, and to the hold of the pit you were dug from.
1Diktatna delhmite aw, Toupa zongmite aw, ka thu ngaikhia un: noute sekna suangpi lam leh kokhuka noute toh khiakna khuk lam en un.
2Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for when he was but one I called him, and I blessed him, and made him many.
2Na pu uh Abraham lam leh noute honsuangnu Sara lam en un: khat kia a hih laiin ka sama, ka vualjawla, mi tampi dingin ka bawlta hi.
3For Yahweh has comforted Zion; he has comforted all her waste places, and has made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Yahweh; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
3Toupan lah Zion a luangmuanta ngala: a munsesate tengteng a lungmuana, a gamdai lah Eden bangin a bawla, a gam keu leng Toupa huan bangin a bawl hi; huailaiah kipahna leh nuamsaknate, kipahthugenna leh lasak husa te a om ding.
4“Attend to me, my people; and give ear to me, my nation: for a law shall go forth from me, and I will establish my justice for a light of the peoples.
4Ka mite aw, ka thu ngaikhia unla; ka namte aw, ka thu ah bil na doh un: keia kipanin dan thu a hongpawt sin ngala, mi chih vakna dingin ka vaihawmna ka kipsak ding.
5My righteousness is near, my salvation is gone forth, and my arms shall judge the peoples; the islands shall wait for me, and on my arm shall they trust.
5Ka diktatna a naia, ka hotdamna a pawtta, ka banten mi chih vai a hawmsak ding, tuikulhgamten a honngak ding ua, ka ban a muang ding uh.
6Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment; and those who dwell therein shall die in the same way: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
6Van lama dak tou unla, nuai lama lei en un: van meikhu bangin a jam mang dinga, lei puansilh bangin a lui ding, a sunga omte huchimah bangin a si ding uh: ka hotdamna bel khantawnin a om ding, ka diktatna leng hihmanin a om kei ding.
7“Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; don’t fear the reproach of men, neither be dismayed at their insults.
7Diktatna theimi, ka dan thu lungtanga pai mite aw, ka thu ngaikhia un; mihingte gensiatna lau kei unla, a hontainate u jiakin lunghimoh tuan kei un.
8For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool; but my righteousness shall be forever, and my salvation to all generations.”
8Simin puansilh a ne gawp vek bangin, amau a ne gawp vek ding, ngetin samul a ne bangin, amau a ne ding: ka diktatna jaw khantawnin a om dinga, ka hotdamna suan tengteng tanin a om ding.
9Awake, awake, put on strength, arm of Yahweh; awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Isn’t it you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the monster?
9Toupa ban aw, halh inla, hatna kisilhin; nidanglaia, tanga suante om laia na halh bangin halhin. Nang Rahab sat janpa, dragon sunpa na hi ka hia?
10Isn’t it you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?
10Nang tuipi, tui thuk zapi tui kangsakpa, tuipi taw tatte kanna lampi dia bawlsakpa na hi ka hia?
11The ransomed of Yahweh shall return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy shall be on their heads. They shall obtain gladness and joy. Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
11Huan, Toupa tatte a kik nawn ding ua, lasa kawmin Zion a tung ding ua; khantawna kipahna a lu tunguah a omta ding; kipahna leh nuamsakna a mu ding ua, lungkhamna leh mauna a mangta ding.
12“I, even I, am he who comforts you: who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who shall be made as grass;
12Kei, kei mahmah, nou lungmuanpa ka hi: si ding mihing kihta ding leh, loupa banga bawl ding mihing tapa kihta ding nang kua na hi hiam;
13and have forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fear continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he makes ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
13Toupa nang hon Bawlpa, van kaipalha lei kingaknate phumpa, mangngilha, nuaisiahmi hihse dinga a ngim lai hehna jiak lela nituma lau? Nuaisiahmi hehna koia om a hitaa?
14The captive exile shall speedily be freed; and he shall not die and go down into the pit, neither shall his bread fail.
14Sal pimang kintaka khahin a om dinga, a an a omlou kei ding.
15For I am Yahweh your God, who stirs up the sea, so that its waves roar: Yahweh of Armies is his name.
15Kei Toupa na Pathian, kei lah a kihawtte ging honhon khopa tuipi tokletpa ka hi ngala: ka min lah sepaihte Toupa ahi.
16I have put my words in your mouth, and have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and tell Zion, ‘You are my people.’”
16Huan, van ka kaipalh theia, lei kingaknate ka phum theiha, Zionte kianga, Ka mite na hi uh, ka chih theihna dingin ka thute na kamah ka koiha, ka khutin ka honhum hi.
17Awake, awake, stand up, Jerusalem, that have drunk at the hand of Yahweh the cup of his wrath; you have drunken the bowl of the cup of staggering, and drained it.
17Jerusalem aw, Toupa khuta kipan a hehna nou-adawnnu, halhin, halhin, thou in; nang hoihoina nou-a nengte na dawna, na dawn siang sipsip.
18There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she has brought forth; neither is there any who takes her by the hand among all the sons who she has brought up.
18A tapa suan tengteng lakah amah pi ding kuamah a om kei ua; a tapa vak let tengteng lakah a khuta len kuamah a om sam kei uh.
19These two things have happened to you. Who will bemoan you? Desolation and destruction, and the famine and the sword; how shall I comfort you?
19Hiai thil nihten a honphat ahi; kuan a honkahpih ding ua? Gamna, leh siatna leh kial, leh namsau: bangchin ka honlungmuan diam aw?
20Your sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as an antelope in a net; they are full of the wrath of Yahweh, the rebuke of your God.
20Na tapate lah a bah ua, sathak lena awk bangin, kongzing lu lam ah a lumphiakphuak uh; Toupa hehna leh na Pathian salhnain a dim uhi.
21Therefore hear now this, you afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:
21Huaijiakin, nang hihgentheih leh uain kham hi lou-a mi kham, hiai jain:
22Thus says your Lord Yahweh, and your God who pleads the cause of his people, “Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of staggering, even the bowl of the cup of my wrath; you shall no more drink it again:
22Na Toupa Jehova, na Pathian, a mite thu genpih jelpan, hichiin a chi, Ngaiin, hoihoina nou, ka hehna nou belhbu ngei, na khut akipan ka la kheta; na dawn nawnta kei ding;Huchiin nang honhihgentheite khutah ka koih ding; amau lah na hinna kiangah, Kon tot ding un khupboh un, a chi uh: huchiin a tawnmite kiangah na nungjang lah lei bang leh kongzing bangin na doha, chiin.
23and I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you, who have said to your soul, ‘Bow down, that we may walk over you;’ and you have laid your back as the ground, and as the street, to those who walk over.”
23Huchiin nang honhihgentheite khutah ka koih ding; amau lah na hinna kiangah, Kon tot ding un khupboh un, a chi uh: huchiin a tawnmite kiangah na nungjang lah lei bang leh kongzing bangin na doha, chiin.
