Isaiah

64

1Oh that you would tear the heavens, that you would come down, that the mountains might quake at your presence,
1Aw tangte na maa a luan khiak zoizoina ding un, van botkekin hongkum suk teitei lechin aw.
2as when fire kindles the brushwood, and the fire causes the waters to boil; to make your name known to your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at your presence!
2Nam chih na maa a linna ding un nang hondoute kianga na min theihsak nadingin, meiin sing neen a kuangsaka, meiin tui a sousak bangin!
3When you did awesome things which we didn’t look for, you came down, the mountains quaked at your presence.
3Ka lamet louh uh thil mulkimhuai na hih laiin na hong suka, tangte maah a luangkhe zoizoi uhi.
4For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him.
4Nidanglaia kipanin miten, nangkia loungal, amaute ngak dinga, sepsak jelpa Pathian lah a thei ngeikei ua, bilin lah a za ngei kei ua, mitin leng a mu ngei sam kei hi.
5You meet him who rejoices and works righteousness, those who remember you in your ways. Behold, you were angry, and we sinned. We have been in sin for a long time; and shall we be saved?
6For we have all become as one who is unclean, and all our righteousness is as a polluted garment: and we all fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
6Mi nin bangin kana om vekta ngal ua, ka diktatna teng uh leng puansilh nin bang ahi: ka vek un nah bangin ka vuai ua; ka thulimlouhnate un huih bangin a honmut mang jel hi.
7There is none who calls on your name, who stirs up himself to take hold of you; for you have hidden your face from us, and have consumed us by means of our iniquities.
7Huchiin na min lou-a, nang honlen dinga kihihhalh kuamah himhim a om kei uh: kou akipanin na mai na selta ngala, ka thulimlouhnate uh zangin non mangsakta hi.
8But now, Yahweh, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you our potter; and we all are the work of your hand.
8Tuin jaw, aw TOUPA, nang ka pa uh na hi; kou bellei ka hi ua; nang kou honvelpa na hi; huchiin ka vek un na khut suak ka hi uh.
9Don’t be furious, Yahweh, neither remember iniquity forever: see, look, we beg you, we are all your people.
9TOUPA aw, heh lo kenla, thulimlouhnate leng khantawnin theigige sam ken: ngaiin hehpihtakin hon en inla, ka vek un nangmah mite ka hi uhi.
10Your holy cities are become a wilderness, Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
10Na khopi siangthoute gamdai a hong suak ua, Zion lah gamdai a hong suak a, Jerusalem lah mun nawtsiat a hong hita hi.
11Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised you, is burned with fire; and all our pleasant places are laid waste.
11Ka in siangthou uleh ka in kilawm tak uh, ka pipute un nang a honna phat jelna uh, meia hal ahi; ka thil deihhuaite tengteng ulah hihsiatin a omvekta ngala.TOUPA aw, huai thilte-ah na kidek thei sin ahia? Na dai nilouhin non hihgenthei nilouh sin ahia?
12Will you refrain yourself for these things, Yahweh? Will you hold your peace, and afflict us very severely?
12TOUPA aw, huai thilte-ah na kidek thei sin ahia? Na dai nilouhin non hihgenthei nilouh sin ahia?
