¹Moreover the word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the guard, saying,

¹Huan, Jeremia kiangah, ngakmi huangsunga a om laiin, anihveina dingin TOUPA thu a hong tung nawna.

²Thus says Yahweh who does it, Yahweh who forms it to establish it; Yahweh is his name:

²Lei bawlpa Toupa, kip ding a bawlpa TOUPAN, (Toupa a min ahi) hichiin achi:

³Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don’t know.

³Honsam lechin, ka hon dawng ding, thil thupi leh thil kisel na theih ngeilouh ka honensak ding.

⁴For thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are broken down to make a defense against the mounds and against the sword;

⁴Israel Pathian TOUPAN hiai khopi inte leh Juda kumpipa inte, namsau leh lei vupte laka venna bawl dinga a phel siat uh tungtang thu ah hichiin a chi:

⁵while men come to fight with the Chaldeans, and to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have killed in my anger and in my wrath, and for all whose wickedness I have hidden my face from this city:

⁵Kaldaite sual dingin amau a hongkuan ua, ka hehna leh thangpaihnaa ka thah luangtein a dimsak zo sin uh, a gitlouhna tengteng jiak un hiai khopi lakah lah ka mel ka na selta ngal a.

⁶Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them; and I will reveal to them abundance of peace and truth.

⁶Ngai in, damna leh hihdamna ka hontun dinga, ka hondamsak ding: muanna leh bitna kiptak ka honmusak ding.

⁷I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.

⁷Huan, Juda omdan leh Israel omdan ka hei dinga, a tunga ka dinsak bangin ka dingsak nawn ding.

⁸I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, by which they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, by which they have sinned against me, and by which they have transgressed against me.

⁸Huan, a thulimlouhna uh, ka tunga a thilhih khelhna lak ua kipan ka sawp siang dinga, a thulimlouhna uh, ka tunga a thil hihkhelhna u leh ka tunga a tatleknate tengteng uh ka ngaidam ding.

⁹This city shall be to me for a name of joy, for a praise and for a glory, before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do to them, and shall fear and tremble for all the good and for all the peace that I procure to it.

⁹Huan, hiai khopi leia nam tengteng, amau adia ka hihhoih tengteng mumite maah kei dingin nuamna te, pahtawina te, thupina te ahi dinga: hoihna muanna a tung ua ka tut tengteng jiakin lau in a ling ding uh.

¹⁰Thus says Yahweh: Yet again there shall be heard in this place, about which you say, It is waste, without man and without animal, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without animal,

¹⁰TOUPAN hichiin a chi: Hiai mun, Juda khopi hiala mi leh sa om nawn loua segawp, Jerusalem kholaka mi leh sa leh tengmi omlou a kigawpsa, a chih uah.

¹¹the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who say, Give thanks to Yahweh of Armies, for Yahweh is good, for his loving kindness endures forever; who bring thanksgiving into the house of Yahweh. For I will cause the captivity of the land to return as at the first, says Yahweh.

¹¹Sepaihte TOUPA kiangah kipahthu gen un TOUPA lah a hoih ngala: a chitna lah khantawnin a om sin ngala, chimite aw leh Toupa ina kipahna kithoihna hontawi lasa mite awleh mou aw-te mouneipa aw-te a honza nawn ding uh. A tunga a omdan bangin gam ka omsak ding, chih TOUPA thu pawt ahi.

¹²Thus says Yahweh of Armies: Yet again shall there be in this place, which is waste, without man and without animal, and in all its cities, a habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

¹²Sepaihte TOUPAN hichiin achi: Hiai mun, mi leh sa omlou khopa segawpsa leh a khopi tengteng ah, belamchingmi a belam hon uh kualsakmite tenna mun a hong om nawn ding.

¹³In the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the South, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks again pass under the hands of him who numbers them, says Yahweh.

¹³Tang gam khopi ah te, phai gam khopi ah te, simlam khopi ah te, Benjamin gamah te, Jerusalem kim mun ah te, Juda khopi ah te, amau sim mi khut nuaiah belamte a pai zungzung ding uh, chih TOUPA thu pawt ahi.

¹⁴Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will perform that good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and concerning the house of Judah.

¹⁴Ngai in, nite a hongtung lellel hi, chih Toupa thu pawt ahi, Israel inkote tungtangah leh Juda inkote tungtang a thu hoihtak ka nagen pen ka tangtung sak ding.

¹⁵In those days, and at that time, will I cause a Branch of righteousness to grow up to David; and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.

¹⁵Huai ni ahte leh huai hun chiangin diktatna Hiang David kiang ah ka khang khe sak ding, huai gamah diktak leh diktat takin vai a hawm ding.

¹⁶In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely; and this is the name by which she shall be called: Yahweh our righteousness.

¹⁶Huai ni ah te Juda humbit in a om ding, Jerusalem bit takin a om ding: huan, a min put ding hiai ahi ding, TOUPA i diktatna, chih.

¹⁷For thus says Yahweh: David shall never want a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel;

¹⁷Toupan hichiin achi ahi: David in Israel inkote mangtutphah a tu ding mi a tasam ngeikei ding:

¹⁸neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to burn meal offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.

¹⁸Siampu Levi chiten leng ka maa halmang kithoih lan ding leh buhlebal thil lan ding leh kithoih zel ding in mi a tasam sam kei ding.

¹⁹The word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah, saying,

¹⁹Huan, TOUPA thu Jeremia kiang ah a hongtung a: TOUPAN hichiin a chi:

²⁰Thus says Yahweh: If you can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, so that there shall not be day and night in their season;

²⁰Ka sun seh leh ka jan seh thu na phel theih ua, sun leh jan a hun tak ua omlou dinga na hih theih uleh;

²¹then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.

²¹Ka nasempa David kianga ka thukhun leng a mangtutphah a tu ding tapa a neihlouhna ding a hihsiat ahi phet ding hi: Levi chite, siampute, ka nasem mite kianga leng.

²²As the army of the sky can’t be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured; so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites who minister to me.

²²Vana om te sim senglouh leh tuipi a piaunel sim senglouh bang mai in ka nasempa David suan leh Levi chi kei na hon sepsak mite ka pungsak ding.

²³The word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah, saying,

²³TOUPA thu Jeremia kiang ah a hong tung:

²⁴Don’t consider what this people has spoken, saying, The two families which Yahweh chose, he has cast them off? thus do they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

²⁴Inkuan nih TOUPAN a tel te a pai mang ta, chia hiai miten a gen uh na ngaihtuah ngei ka hia? A mitmuh ua nam chih tham a hihlouhna ding un hichibangin ka mite a musit uhi.

²⁵Thus says Yahweh: If my covenant of day and night fails, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

²⁵TOUPAN hichiin achi: ka sun leh jan thu seh a om den louh a, lei leh van omdante ka seh louh ahih leh,Jakob suante leh ka nasempa David suante ka paimang ding, Abraham te, Isak te, Jakob suante tungah vaihawmmi a suan akipan ka la kei ding: a omdante uh ka kiheisakin a tunguah hehpihna ka neisin ngala.

²⁶then will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and will have mercy on them.

²⁶Jakob suante leh ka nasempa David suante ka paimang ding, Abraham te, Isak te, Jakob suante tungah vaihawmmi a suan akipan ka la kei ding: a omdante uh ka kiheisakin a tunguah hehpihna ka neisin ngala.
