2Declare among the nations and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and don’t conceal: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is disappointed, Merodach is dismayed; her images are disappointed, her idols are dismayed.

9For, behold, I will stir up and cause to come up against Babylon a company of great nations from the north country; and they shall set themselves in array against her; from there she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of an expert mighty man; none shall return in vain.

11Because you are glad, because you rejoice, O you who plunder my heritage, because you are wanton as a heifer that treads out the grain, and neigh as strong horses;

13Because of the wrath of Yahweh she shall not be inhabited, but she shall be wholly desolate: everyone who goes by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.
13TOUPA hehna jiakin luahmi a om kei dinga, a sevek zo ding hi, Babulon hoh peuhmah a mulkim sak dinga, a siatna tengteng ziakin a tek ding uhi.

17Israel is a hunted sheep; the lions have driven him away: first, the king of Assyria devoured him; and now at last Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has broken his bones.
17Isreal bel belam dalh jak ahia; humpinelkaiten a delh mang ua; Assuria kumpipan amah a ne phota, a tawpin Babulon kumpipa Nebukadnezzarin a guhte a haijanta hi.
18Therefore thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel: Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.

20In those days, and in that time, says Yahweh, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I leave as a remnant.
20Huai nite chiang huai hun chiangin Israel thulimlouhnate a zong ding ua, muh ding a om kei ding; Juda thilhihkhelhte leng muh ding a om sam kei ding; omsun dinga ka koihte lah ka ngaidam sin ngala, chih TOUPA thu pawt ahi.
21Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: kill and utterly destroy after them, says Yahweh, and do according to all that I have commanded you.
21Merathim gam sual un, a gam leh Pekod luah mite mahmah; that unla, hihgam sipsip unla, thu ka honpiak bangbangin hih un, chih TOUPA thu pawt ahi.
22A sound of battle is in the land, and of great destruction.
22Huai gamah gal husa a om, siatna thupi mahmah husa toh.
23How is the hammer of the whole earth cut apart and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!
23Khovel pumpi sek a kitamin, nak kek nen hina tel e:
24I have laid a snare for you, and you are also taken, Babylon, and you weren’t aware: you are found, and also caught, because you have striven against Yahweh.
24Aw Babulon, nang dingin thang kama, theiloua awk neita ve; muhkhiak leh matin na omta, TOUPA na sual ziakin.
25Yahweh has opened his armory, and has brought forth the weapons of his indignation; for the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, has a work to do in the land of the Chaldeans.
25TOUPAN a galvan bawm a hongta, a hehna vanzatte a lakhiaa, TOUPA, sepaihte TOUPAN Kaldaite gamah hih ding a nei hi.
26Come against her from the utmost border; open her storehouses; cast her up as heaps, and destroy her utterly; let nothing of her be left.
26Gamgi tawp pek akipanin honsual unla, a thil koihkhawmna inte hong vek unla, pai khawm unla, hihse vek un, a bangmah himhim hawi kei un.

29Call together the archers against Babylon, all those who bend the bow; encamp against her all around; let none of it escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she has done, do to her; for she has been proud against Yahweh, against the Holy One of Israel.
29Babulon sual dingin thal kap siam, thalpeu zangmi tengteng sam khawm un; a kimvelin buk bawl unla, kuamah suakta kei uhen; A thilhih bangbangin thuk un, a hihsa bang tengteng amah tungah hih un: TOUPA, Israel Mi Siangthou lah a tou ngam a.
30Therefore her young men will fall in her streets, and all her men of war will be brought to silence in that day, says Yahweh.

32The proud one shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up; and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all who are around him.
32Huan mi kisathei a kisuiin a puk dinga, kuamahin a phong kei ding ua, huan, a khopite ah mei ka khah dinga, a kimvela om tengteng ka kang siangsak vek ding.
33Thus says Yahweh of Armies: The children of Israel and the children of Judah are oppressed together; and all who took them captive hold them fast; they refuse to let them go.
33Sepaihte TOUPAN hichiin a chi: Israel tate leh Juda tate nuaisiahin a om khawmta ua; sala amaute pimite tengtengin amau a len chinten ua, a khah nuam het kei uh. Amaute tanpha bel a hata; amin sepaihte TOUPA ahi.
34Their Redeemer is strong; Yahweh of Armies is his name: he will thoroughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.
34Amah amau lama a panga, Babulona tengte hihbuaiin, khovela muanna a tut theihna dingin.
35A sword is on the Chaldeans, says Yahweh, and on the inhabitants of Babylon, and on her princes, and on her wise men.

36A sword is on the boasters, and they shall become fools; a sword is on her mighty men, and they shall be dismayed.
36Mi juautheite tungah namsau, mi hai a hongsuak ding uh: a galkap mi tungah namsau, a lunglel khin ding uh.
37A sword is on their horses, and on their chariots, and on all the mixed people who are in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword is on her treasures, and they shall be robbed.
37A sakolte uh leh kangtalaite uh tungah namsau, a sunga mi kilak-hel tengtengte tungah leng, numei bang phet a honghi ding uh: a gou thil tungah namsau, lokin a om maimai ding uhi.
38A drought is on her waters, and they shall be dried up; for it is a land of engraved images, and they are mad over idols.
38A tuite kangin a keu khina, milimte gam lah ahi ngal a, milimte lah a hailoh uhi.
39Therefore the wild animals of the desert with the wolves shall dwell there, and the ostriches shall dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited forever; neither shall it be lived in from generation to generation.
39Huaijiakin gamdai gam sahangte, ngiate toh huailaiah a teng ding ua, Ostritte leng huailaiah a teng ding uh; luahin a om ngei nawn kei ding; suan tengteng phain leng luahin a om kei ding.
40As when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbor cities of it, says Yahweh, so shall no man dwell there, neither shall any son of man live therein.
40Pathianin Sodom leh Gomora leh a kho insakinkhangte a hihsiat bangbangin; huailaiah kuamah a tengta kei ding ua, mihing ta kuamahin a veh nawnta kei ding uh, TOUPA thu pawtin a chi.

42They lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roars like the sea; and they ride on horses, everyone set in array, as a man to the battle, against you, daughter of Babylon.
42Thalpeu leh tei a tawi ua, hiamgam tak, zahngaihna himhim neilou ahi uh. A husa uh tuipi ging huhu bang ahia, sakol tungah a tuang ua, mi chih galkapmi banga kivanin, aw, Babulon tanu, nang a hongsual sin uhi.
43The king of Babylon has heard the news of them, and his hands wax feeble: anguish has taken hold of him, pains as of a woman in labor.
43A husa uh jain Babulon kumpipa khut a zota, numei nauvei lainatna bangin, natna thupitakin a manta hi.
44Behold, the enemy shall come up like a lion from the pride of the Jordan against the strong habitation: for I will suddenly make them run away from it; and whoever is chosen, him will I appoint over it: for who is like me? and who will appoint me a time? and who is the shepherd who can stand before me?
44Ngai un, Jordan gam gammang akipan humpinelkai, kahna muna a hongtou bangin a hingpaitou dinga; amah akipanin amaute ka taimangsak pah ding; a tunga thu nei ding ka ut-ut ka sep ding. Kei bang kua a oma! Kuan sep ding. Kei bang kua kua a oma? Kuan ahia hunbi honsehsak ding? Belamchingmi kua ahia ka maa ding ding?
45Therefore hear the counsel of Yahweh, that he has taken against Babylon; and his purposes, that he has purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely they shall drag them away, even the little ones of the flock; surely he shall make their habitation desolate over them.
45Huaijiakin Babulon tungah TOUPA thu hilh, Kaldai mite tunga a thil seh ngaikhia un. Gan hon noute ngei kaihmangin a om ding ua, gan kahna muna mite a mulkim sak ding.Babulon lakna husa ah lei a ling dinga, a kahna husa namte laka jak ahi ding hi.
