¹It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father’s wife.

¹ در حقیقت گفته شده است كه در میان شما یک‌نوع رابطهٔ جنسی نامشروع وجود دارد و این عمل آن‌قدر زشت است كه حتّی در میان كافران هم پیدا نمی‌شود، زیرا می‌شنوم كه شخصی با زن پدر خود می‌خوابد.

²You are puffed up, and didn’t rather mourn, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.

² چرا به عوض اینكه خجل گشته و مقصّر را از میان خود بیرون كنید، افتخار هم می‌کنید؟

³For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.

³ اگرچه من جسماً از شما دور هستم، ولی روحاً حاضرم و چنان شخص مجرم را در نام خداوند عیسی محكوم ساختم كه گویی خودم در آنجا حضور داشتم.

⁴In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

⁴ پس وقتی‌که شما به‌خاطر این مرد جمع شوید، من هم روحاً در میان شما هستم، با قدرت خداوند ما عیسی،

⁵are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

⁵ این شخص را به شیطان تسلیم كنید تا طبیعت نفسانی او نابود شده و در روز خداوند یعنی روز داوری روحش نجات یابد.

⁶Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

⁶ فخر شما در این مورد بی‌جاست. مگر نمی‌دانید كه با كمی خمیر‌مایه مقدار زیادی خمیر ور می‌آید؟

⁷Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

⁷ پس اگر می‌خواهید خمیر تازه (فطیر) باشید (چنانکه هستید) باید خمیرمایهٔ كهنه را تماماً از میان بردارید، زیرا مسیح كه «قربانی عید فصح» ماست، ذبح شده است.

⁸Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

⁸ بنابراین، عید فصح را نه با خمیرمایهٔ ترش و كهنه که خمیرمایهٔ بدخواهی و شرارت است، بلكه با نان فطیر كه نان صمیمیّت و صداقت است، نگاه داریم.

⁹I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;

⁹ در نامه‌ای به شما نوشتم كه با اشخاص شهوتران معاشرت نكنید.

¹⁰yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then you would have to leave the world.

¹⁰ ولی منظور من این نبود كه با تمام اشخاص شهوتران این جهان یا طمعكاران و كلاهبرداران و یا بت‌پرستان كاری نداشته باشید، زیرا در این صورت مجبور می‌شوید این دنیا را ترک كنید.

¹¹But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. Don’t even eat with such a person.

¹¹ بلكه مقصود من این بود كه با کسانی‌که خود را مسیحی می‌دانند ولی مرتكب زنا، طمع، بت‌پرستی، ناسزاگویی، مستی و یا كلاهبرداری می‌گردند، معاشرت نكنید حتّی با چنین اشخاصی غذا هم نخورید.

¹²For what have I to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within?

¹² زیرا من با افراد خارج از كلیسا چه‌کار دارم كه دربارهٔ آنها قضاوت كنم؟ وظیفهٔ شما این است كه نسبت به اهل كلیسا داوری كنید و داوری افرادی كه خارج از كلیسا هستند با خدا خواهد بود. آن مرد شریر را از میان خود برانید!

¹³But those who are outside, God judges. “Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.” Deuteronomy 17:7; 19:19; 21:21; 22:21; 24:7
