¹“This is the thing that you shall do to them to make them holy, to minister to me in the priest’s office: take one young bull and two rams without blemish,

¹ «این است آنچه که تو باید برای دستگذاری هارون و پسرانش انجام دهی تا آنها را برای خدمت کهانت تقدیس نمایی. یک گاو نر و دو قوچ بی‌عیب انتخاب نما.

²unleavened bread, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil: you shall make them of fine wheat flour.

² از آرد گندم بسیار خوب، نان فطیر بپز، بعضی را با روغن زیتون بپز، مقداری هم بدون روغن زیتون، و مقداری نیز به شکل کلوچه‌های نازک که روی آن روغن مالیده شده باشد، تهیّه کن.

³You shall put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bull and the two rams.

³ آنها را داخل سبد بگذار و وقتی گاو نر و دو قوچ را برای من قربانی می‌کنی آنها را نیز تقدیم نما.

⁴You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.

⁴ «هارون و پسرانش را به در خیمهٔ مقدّس خداوند بیاور و آنها را با آب غسل بده.

⁵You shall take the garments, and put on Aaron the coat, the robe of the ephod, the ephod, and the breastplate, and clothe him with the skillfully woven band of the ephod;

⁵ سپس لباس کهانت، یعنی پیراهن، جامهٔ مخصوص کاهنان، ردایی كه بر جامهٔ مخصوص کاهنان قرار می‌گیرد، سینه‌پوش و کمربند را به هارون بپوشان.

⁶and you shall set the turban on his head, and put the holy crown on the turban.

⁶ دستار را بر سرش بگذار و نشانهٔ مقدّس را كه بر آن عبارت 'وقف شده برای خداوند' حک شده، بر دستار نصب کن.

⁷Then you shall take the anointing oil, and pour it on his head, and anoint him.

⁷ بعد روغن مقدّس را بر سر او بریز و او را تقدیس نما.

⁸You shall bring his sons, and put coats on them.

⁸ «پس پسران هارون را نیز جلو بیاور و پیراهن مخصوص را به آنها بپوشان.

⁹You shall clothe them with belts, Aaron and his sons, and bind headbands on them: and they shall have the priesthood by a perpetual statute: and you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

⁹ سپس کمربند را به کمر آنها ببند و دستار بر سرشان بگذار. کهانت برای هارون و پسرانش یک امر واجب دایمی ‌خواهد بود. پس به این ترتیب هارون و پسرانش را برای خدمت کهانت تقدیس نما.

¹⁰“You shall bring the bull before the Tent of Meeting: and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the bull.

¹⁰ «گاو نر را جلوی در خیمهٔ مقدّس خداوند بیاور و هارون و پسرانش دستهای خود را بر سر آن بگذارند.

¹¹You shall kill the bull before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

¹¹ سپس تو گاو نر را در حضور من، جلوی در خیمهٔ حضور خداوند ذبح کن.

¹²You shall take of the blood of the bull, and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger; and you shall pour out all the blood at the base of the altar.

¹² کمی ‌از خونش را با انگشت خود بر شاخهای قربانگاه بمال و بقیّه را بر پایه‌های قربانگاه بریز.

¹³You shall take all the fat that covers the innards, the cover of the liver, the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar.

¹³ آنگاه تمام چربی که روده‌ها را پوشانیده و بهترین قسمت جگر و دو قلوه و چربی آن را بگیر و بر روی قربانگاه بسوزان،

¹⁴But the flesh of the bull, and its skin, and its dung, you shall burn with fire outside of the camp: it is a sin offering.

¹⁴ امّا گوشت و پوست و سرگین گاو نر را بیرون اردوگاه با آتش بسوزان، چون قربانی گناه است.

¹⁵“You shall also take the one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.

¹⁵ «یکی از قوچها را بگیر و به هارون و پسرانش بگو که دستهای خود را روی سر قوچ بگذارند،

¹⁶You shall kill the ram, and you shall take its blood, and sprinkle it around on the altar.

¹⁶ سپس سر قوچ را ببر و خونش را بگیر و آن را گرداگرد قربانگاه بپاش.

¹⁷You shall cut the ram into its pieces, and wash its innards, and its legs, and put them with its pieces, and with its head.

¹⁷ بعد قوچ را تکه‌تکه کن، و شکمبه، روده‌ها و پاچه‌هایش را بشوی و آنها را روی سر و هریک از تکه‌ها بگذار.

¹⁸You shall burn the whole ram on the altar: it is a burnt offering to Yahweh; it is a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

¹⁸ تمام قوچ را به عنوان قربانی سوختنی بر قربانگاه بسوزان. عطر این قربانی مرا خشنود می‌سازد.

¹⁹“You shall take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.

¹⁹ «سپس قوچ دوم را بگیر و هارون و پسرانش دستهای خود را بر سر قوچ بگذارند،

²⁰Then you shall kill the ram, and take some of its blood, and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and on the tip of the right ear of his sons, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the big toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood around on the altar.

²⁰ و سر قوچ را بِبُر و قسمتی از خون آن را به نرمهٔ گوش راست هارون و پسرانش، و همچنین به انگشت شَصتِ دستِ راست و انگشت شَصت پای راست ایشان بمال. باقیماندهٔ خون را گرداگرد قربانگاه بپاش.

²¹You shall take of the blood that is on the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron, and on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be made holy, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.

²¹ مقداری از خونی را که بر روی قربانگاه هست بگیر و قدری روغن مسح برداشته بر هارون و پسرانش و بر لباسهای او و پسران هارون و لباسهای آنها بمال تا او و پسرانش و لباسهایشان تقدیس گردند.

²²Also you shall take some of the ram’s fat, the fat tail, the fat that covers the innards, the cover of the liver, the two kidneys, the fat that is on them, and the right thigh (for it is a ram of consecration),

²² «سپس چربی و دنبه قوچ، چربی‌ای که روده‌ها را می‌پوشاند، بهترین قسمت جگر، دو قلوه و چربی‌ای را که روی آنها می‌باشد و ران راست را ببر.

²³and one loaf of bread, one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the basket of unleavened bread that is before Yahweh.

²³ و از سبد نانی كه به من تقدیم شده یک نان از هر نوع بردار: یكی از نانهای با روغن زیتون و یكی بدون آن و یک عدد كلوچه.

²⁴You shall put all of this in Aaron’s hands, and in his sons’ hands, and shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.

²⁴ اینها را به دست هارون و پسرانش بده و به آنها بگو که آنها را به عنوان هدیهٔ مخصوص به من تقدیم کنند.

²⁵You shall take them from their hands, and burn them on the altar on the burnt offering, for a pleasant aroma before Yahweh: it is an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

²⁵ سپس تو اینها را از دست آنان بگیر و بر بالای قربانی سوختنی بسوزان تا عطر خوشبو برای من باشد.

²⁶“You shall take the breast of Aaron’s ram of consecration, and wave it for a wave offering before Yahweh: and it shall be your portion.

²⁶ «بعد سینهٔ قوچ را بگیر و به عنوان هدیهٔ مخصوص به من تقدیم نما. این قسمت سهم تو می‌باشد.

²⁷You shall sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the thigh of the wave offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons:

²⁷ «زمانی که یک کاهن دستگذاری می‌شود، سینه و ران راست قوچی که برای دستگذاری قربانی شده باشد، باید به عنوان هدیهٔ مخصوص به من تقدیم گردد و برای كاهنان کنار گذاشته شود.

²⁸and it shall be for Aaron and his sons as their portion forever from the children of Israel; for it is a wave offering: and it shall be a wave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifices of their peace offerings, even their wave offering to Yahweh.

²⁸ این قانون تغییرناپذیر است که وقتی قوم من هدیهٔ سلامتی می‌گذرانند، سینه و ران راست آن از آن کاهنان است. این هدیهٔ قوم به خداوند است.

²⁹“The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them, and to be consecrated in them.

²⁹ «لباسهای کهانت هارون بعد از مرگ او به پسرانش تعلّق خواهد داشت تا در وقت دستگذاری آنها را بپوشند.

³⁰Seven days shall the son who is priest in his place put them on, when he comes into the Tent of Meeting to minister in the holy place.

³⁰ پسر هارون که به عنوان کاهن جانشین او می‌شود تا به خیمهٔ مقدّس خداوند داخل شده و خدمت کهانت را انجام دهد، باید این لباسها را به مدّت هفت روز بپوشد.

³¹“You shall take the ram of consecration, and boil its flesh in a holy place.

³¹ «گوشت قوچی را که در مراسم دستگذاری هارون و پسرانش قربانی شده در مکان مقدّس با آب بپز.

³²Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

³² هارون و پسرانش آن گوشت را با نانی که در سبد می‌باشد در ورودی خیمهٔ مقدّس خداوند بخورند.

³³They shall eat those things with which atonement was made, to consecrate and sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat of it, because they are holy.

³³ آنها باید خوراکی را که در مراسم دستگذاری و آمرزش آنها آماده شده به تنهایی بخورند. فقط كاهنان می‌توانند این غذا را بخوردند، چون مقدّس است.

³⁴If anything of the flesh of the consecration, or of the bread, remains to the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.

³⁴ اگر چیزی از گوشت و یا نان مراسم دستگذاری تا صبح باقی بماند، باید آن را با آتش بسوزانی. آنها نباید خورده شود، زیرا مقدّس است.

³⁵“You shall do so to Aaron, and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you. You shall consecrate them seven days.

³⁵ «هارون و پسرانش را مدّت هفت روز درست همان‌طور که به تو دستور داده‌ام، تقدیس نما.

³⁶Every day you shall offer the bull of sin offering for atonement: and you shall cleanse the altar, when you make atonement for it; and you shall anoint it, to sanctify it.

³⁶ هر روز باید یک گاو نر برای آمرزش گناهان قربانی کنی تا قربانگاه را پاک گردانی. سپس آن را با روغن زیتون تقدیس کن تا مقدّس گردد.

³⁷Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar, and sanctify it: and the altar shall be most holy; whatever touches the altar shall be holy.

³⁷ این کار را تا مدّت هفت روز، هر روز انجام بده. آنگاه قربانگاه کاملاً مقدّس می‌گردد، و هرکس یا هر چیز که قربانگاه را لمس نماید توسط قدرت قدّوسیّت آن آسیب خواهد دید.

³⁸“Now this is that which you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old day by day continually.

³⁸ «هر روز باید دو برّهٔ یک ساله را بر قربانگاه قربانی کنی.

³⁹The one lamb you shall offer in the morning; and the other lamb you shall offer at evening:

³⁹ یک برّه را صبح و دیگری را غروب قربانی کن،

⁴⁰and with the one lamb a tenth part of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel of fine flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil, and the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink offering.

⁴⁰ با برّهٔ اول یک کیلو آرد نرم و یک لیتر روغن خالص زیتون تقدیم نما و نیز یک لیتر شراب برای هدیهٔ نوشیدنی تقدیم کن.

⁴¹The other lamb you shall offer at evening, and shall do to it according to the meal offering of the morning, and according to its drink offering, for a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

⁴¹ برّهٔ دوم را شامگاهان مانند برّهٔ اول، به همراه یک کیلو آرد نرم و یک لیتر روغن خالص زیتون و یک لیتر شراب قربانی نما تا عطر خوشبو و قربانی سوختنی برای من باشد.

⁴²It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the Tent of Meeting before Yahweh, where I will meet with you, to speak there to you.

⁴² این قربانی سوختنی باید برای همیشه جلوی در ورودی خیمهٔ مقدّس خداوند در حضور خداوند، جایی که من بر شما ظاهر می‌شوم و با شما سخن می‌گویم تقدیم شود.

⁴³There I will meet with the children of Israel; and the place shall be sanctified by my glory.

⁴³ من در آنجا با بنی‌اسرائیل ملاقات خواهم نمود و نور حضور من آنجا را مقدّس خواهد گردانید.

⁴⁴I will sanctify the Tent of Meeting and the altar: Aaron also and his sons I will sanctify, to minister to me in the priest’s office.

⁴⁴ من خیمه و قربانگاه را تقدیس خواهم گردانید، و هارون و پسرانش را برای خدمت به عنوان کاهنان تقدیس می‌نمایم.

⁴⁵I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.

⁴⁵ من در میان بنی‌اسرائیل ساکن شده خدای ایشان خواهم بود. آنها خواهند دانست که من خداوند خدای ایشان هستم که ایشان را از مصر بیرون آوردم بنابراین در میان ایشان ساکن خواهم شد. من خداوند خدای ایشان هستم.

⁴⁶They shall know that I am Yahweh their God, who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them: I am Yahweh their God.

⁴⁶ آنها خواهند دانست که من خداوند خدای ایشان هستم که ایشان را از مصر بیرون آوردم بنابراین در میان ایشان ساکن خواهم شد. من خداوند خدای ایشان هستم.
