¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹ خداوند به موسی فرمود:

²“Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:

² «من بصلئیل پسر اوری نوهٔ حور را که از طایفهٔ یهودا می‌باشد، انتخاب کرده‌ام.

³and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship,

³ او را از قدرت خود پُر ساخته‌ام و به او استعداد و دانش و مهارت برای انجام هنرهای گوناگون بخشیده‌ام.

⁴to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

⁴ تا در طلا سازی و نقره سازی و برنز کاری، همچنین در جواهرسازی و مرصع‌کاری آن و نجّاری و چوب‌بری و صنایع دیگر با مهارت کار کند.

⁵and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of workmanship.

⁵ اهولیاب -‌پسر اخیسامک- را که از طایفهٔ دان است، به همکاری و معاونت او انتخاب کرده‌ام و به تمام صنعتگران حکمت و قدرت مخصوصی بخشیده‌ام تا تمام چیزهایی را که دستور داده‌ام،

⁶I, behold, I have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the heart of all who are wise-hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you:

⁶ یعنی خیمهٔ مقدّس خداوند، صندوق پیمان و سرپوش آن، تمام وسایل خیمه،

⁷the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the testimony, the mercy seat that is on it, all the furniture of the Tent,

⁷ میز و اثاثیهٔ آن، چراغدان طلای خالص و وسایل آن، آتشدان بُخور،

⁸the table and its vessels, the pure lampstand with all its vessels, the altar of incense,

⁸ آتشدان برای سوزاندن قربانی‌های سوختنی با تمام وسایل آن،

⁹the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, the basin and its base,

⁹ لباس مخصوص کهانت برای هارون و پسرانش،

¹⁰the finely worked garments—the holy garments for Aaron the priest—the garments of his sons to minister in the priest’s office,

¹⁰ روغن مسح و بُخور معطّر برای مکان مقدّس و همهٔ اینها را کاملاً همان‌طور که دستور داده‌ام، بسازند.»

¹¹the anointing oil, and the incense of sweet spices for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded you they shall do.”

¹¹ خداوند به موسی فرمود:

¹²Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹² «به بنی‌اسرائیل بگو: سبت، روز مخصوص من و روز استراحت را محترم بدارید. این بین من و شما و تمام نسلهای آیندهٔ شما، نشانه‌ای است تا بدانید که من که خداوند هستم، شما را قوم مخصوص خود نموده‌ام.

¹³“Speak also to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Most certainly you shall keep my Sabbaths: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies you.

¹³ شما باید روز سبت را محترم بدارید زیرا این روز برای شما مقدّس است. کسی‌که حرمت آن را نگاه ندارد، از قوم من اخراج گردد و کسی‌که در این روز کار کند، باید کشته‌ شود.

¹⁴You shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

¹⁴ شما شش روز دارید که در آن کارهای خود را انجام دهید. امّا روز هفتم، روز استراحت و روز مقدّس خداوند است. هرکس که در آن روز کاری انجام بدهد باید کشته شود.

¹⁵Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to Yahweh. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall surely be put to death.

¹⁵ قوم ‌اسرائیل باید این روز را به عنوان نشانهٔ پیمان، نگاه دارند.

¹⁶Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

¹⁶ این پیمانی ابدی بین من و قوم اسرائیل می‌باشد. زیرا من -‌خداوند- آسمان و زمین را در شش روز ساختم و روز هفتم دست از کار کشیدم و استراحت نمودم.» وقتی‌که خداوند سخنان خود را با موسی در کوه سینا تمام کرد، دو لوح سنگی به او داد که خودش احكام خود را روی آن نوشته‌ بود.

¹⁷It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.’”

¹⁷ وقتی‌که خداوند سخنان خود را با موسی در کوه سینا تمام کرد، دو لوح سنگی به او داد که خودش احكام خود را روی آن نوشته‌ بود.

¹⁸He gave to Moses, when he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony, stone tablets, written with God’s finger.
