¹Paul, an apostle (not from men, neither through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead),

¹ از طرف پولس رسول كه رسالت خود را نه از جانب انسان و نه به وسیلهٔ كسی بلكه از طرف عیسی مسیح و خدای پدر كه مسیح را پس از مرگ زنده گردانید، به دست آورد.

²and all the brothers The word for “brothers” here and where context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” who are with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:

² تمام ایماندارانی كه با من هستند به كلیساهای غلاطیه درود می‌فرستند.

³Grace to you and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ,

³ فیض و آرامش خدا، پدر ما و عیسی مسیح خداوند بر شما باد.

⁴who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father—

⁴ همان عیسی كه جان خود را برای گناهان ما داد تا طبق ارادهٔ پدر ما خدا، ما را از این زمانهٔ شریر برهاند.

⁵to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

⁵ خدا را تا به ابد جلال باد! آمین.

⁶I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”;

⁶ من از این تعجّب می‌کنم كه شما به این زودی از آن کسی‌که شما را به فیض مسیح دعوت كرده است روی‌گردان شده‌اید و اكنون از انجیل دیگری پیروی می‌کنید!

⁷and there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the Good News of Christ.

⁷ (درصورتی كه انجیل دیگری وجود ندارد) امّا عدّه‌ای هستند كه می‌خواهند شما را مضطرب سازند و انجیل مسیح را تحریف نمایند.

⁸But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.

⁸ حتّی اگر ما یا فرشته‌ای از آسمان، انجیلی غیراز آنچه ما اعلام كردیم بیاورد، بر او لعنت باد!

⁹As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.

⁹ چنانکه قبلاً گفته بودم باز هم تكرار می‌کنم: «هر کسی‌که انجیلی غیراز آنچه پذیرفتید، بیاورد بر او لعنت باد!»

¹⁰For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.

¹⁰ آیا این سخن می‌رساند كه من رضایت آدمیان را می‌خواهم؟ خیر! من فقط رضایت خدا را می‌خواهم. آیا قصدم خشنود ساختن مردم است؟ اگر تاكنون قصدم این بود خادم مسیح نمی‌بودم!

¹¹But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to man.

¹¹ ای دوستان من، می‌خواهم بدانید انجیلی كه من به شما دادم، ساخته و پرداختهٔ دست انسان نیست.

¹²For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.

¹² من آن را از كسی نگرفتم و كسی هم آن را به من نیاموخت. بلكه عیسی مسیح به وسیلهٔ الهام آن را به من آشكار ساخت.

¹³For you have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God, and ravaged it.

¹³ سرگذشت و کارهای سابق مرا در دین یهود شنیده‌اید كه چگونه با بی‌رحمی به كلیسای خدا آزار می‌رسانیدم و در نابود ساختن آن می‌كوشیدم.

¹⁴I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.

¹⁴ و در رعایت دیانت یهود از تمام یهودیان هم سن خود سبقت می‌گرفتم و خیلی بیشتر از آنها در اجرای تعالیم نیاكانمان متعصّب بودم.

¹⁵But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me through his grace,

¹⁵ امّا وقتی خدا كه مرا قبل از تولّد برگزیده و به وسیلهٔ فیض خود مرا دعوت كرده بود، صلاح دانست

¹⁶to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,

¹⁶ كه پسر خود را در من ظاهر سازد تا بشارت او را به ملل غیر یهود برسانم، به عوض اینکه با كسی مشورت كنم

¹⁷nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.

¹⁷ یا به اورشلیم نزد آنانی كه قبل از من رسول بودند بروم، فوراً به عربستان رفتم و بعد به دمشق باز گشتم.

¹⁸Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.

¹⁸ بعد از سه سال به اورشلیم برگشتم تا با پطرس آشنا شوم و مدّت پانزده روز نزد او ماندم.

¹⁹But of the other apostles I saw no one, except James, the Lord’s brother.

¹⁹ هیچ رسول دیگری را به جز یعقوب، برادر خداوند ندیدم.

²⁰Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I’m not lying.

²⁰ آنچه به شما می‌نویسم عین حقیقت است و خدا شاهد است كه دروغ نمی‌گویم.

²¹Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

²¹ بعداً به نواحی سوریه و قلیقیه رفتم

²²I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ,

²² و كلیساهای مسیح در یهودیه مرا شخصاً نمی‌شناختند.

²³but they only heard: “He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.”

²³ فقط می‌شنیدند كه: «آن کسی‌که به ما آزار می‌رسانید، اكنون همان ایمانی را بشارت می‌دهد كه زمانی می‌کوشید آن را از بین ببرد.» و خدا را به‌خاطر من سپاس می‌گفتند.

²⁴And they glorified God in me.

²⁴ و خدا را به‌خاطر من سپاس می‌گفتند.
