¹“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,

¹ خداوند می‌فرماید: «در آن زمان هنگامی‌که سعادت و آرامی را به یهودا و اورشلیم بازگردانم،

²I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will execute judgment on them there for my people, and for my heritage, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations. They have divided my land,

² تمام اقوام جهان را در دشت داوری جمع کرده در آنجا آنها را به‌خاطر میراث خود، یعنی قوم اسرائیل محاکمه خواهم کرد، زیرا آنها قوم مرا در بین اقوام جهان پراکنده ساخته و سرزمین مرا تقسیم کردند.

³and have cast lots for my people, and have given a boy for a prostitute, and sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.

³ آنها بر قوم من قرعه انداختند. پسران جوان را در عوض فاحشه‌ها دادند و دختران را در مقابل شراب فروختند.

⁴“Yes, and what are you to me, Tyre, and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Will you repay me? And if you repay me, I will swiftly and speedily return your repayment on your own head.

⁴ «ای صور و صیدون و ای سرزمین فلسطین، با من چه‌کار دارید؟ آیا می‌خواهید از من انتقام بگیرید؟ اگر چنین کنید من بی‌درنگ شما را مجازات خواهم نمود.

⁵Because you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried my finest treasures into your temples,

⁵ شما نقره و طلا و گنجینه‌های نفیس مرا گرفته به پرستشگاههای خود بردید.

⁶and have sold the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem to the sons of the Greeks, that you may remove them far from their border.

⁶ مردم یهودا و اورشلیم را به یونانیان فروختید و آنها را از وطنشان آواره ساختید.

⁷Behold, I will stir them up out of the place where you have sold them, and will return your repayment on your own head;

⁷ امّا من آنها را از جایهایی که به آن فروخته شده‌اند بازمی‌گردانم و شما را به سزای کارهایتان می‌رسانم.

⁸and I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hands of the children of Judah, and they will sell them to the men of Sheba, to a faraway nation, for Yahweh has spoken it.”

⁸ پسران و دختران شما را به مردم یهودا می‌فروشم، آنها نیز ایشان را به سبائیان که در سرزمینی دوردست زندگی می‌کنند، خواهند فروخت. من که خداوند هستم، این را می‌گویم.

⁹Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Stir up the mighty men. Let all the warriors draw near. Let them come up.

⁹ «به اقوام جهان اعلام کنید، 'برای جنگ آماده شوید و جنگجویان ورزیدهٔ خود را فرا خوانید و سپاهیان را جمع کنید.

¹⁰Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’

¹⁰ گاوآهنهای خود را ذوب کنید و از آنها شمشیر بسازید و از ارّه‌هایتان نیزه تهیّه نمایید. افراد ضعیف هم خود را برای جنگ آماده کنند.

¹¹Hurry and come, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves together.” Cause your mighty ones to come down there, Yahweh.

¹¹ بیایید ای تمامی قبایل اطراف، عجله کنید و در درّه جمع شوید!'» خداوندا، جنگ‌آورانت را برای حمله فرود آور!

¹²“Let the nations arouse themselves, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there will I sit to judge all the surrounding nations.

¹² خداوند می‌فرماید: «تمام اقوام بیایند و در دشت داوری جمع شوند. من در آنجا می‌نشینم و همه را محاکمه می‌کنم.

¹³Put in the sickle; for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread, for the winepress is full, the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.”

¹³ داسها را بردارید، زیرا محصول رسیده و برای درو آماده است. مردم همه شریر شده‌اند، پس بروید و آنها را همان‌طور که انگورها را برای شراب در چرخشت لِه می‌کنند تا شراب لبریز گردد، پایمال سازید.»

¹⁴Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Yahweh is near, in the valley of decision.

¹⁴ دسته‌دسته در دشت داوری جمع شوند، زیرا در آنجا روز خداوند بزودی فرا خواهد رسید.

¹⁵The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.

¹⁵ آفتاب و ماه تاریک می‌شوند و ستارگان نور خود را از دست می‌دهند.

¹⁶Yahweh will roar from Zion, and thunder from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth will shake; but Yahweh will be a refuge to his people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.

¹⁶ غرّش صدای خداوند از فراز کوه صهیون برمی‌خیزد و همچون رعد از اورشلیم فریاد می‌زند. آسمان و زمین به لرزه می‌آیند، امّا خداوند پناهگاه قوم خود، اسرائیل بوده از ایشان حمایت می‌کند.

¹⁷“So you will know that I am Yahweh, your God, dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain. Then Jerusalem will be holy, and no strangers will pass through her any more.

¹⁷ آنگاه شما خواهید دانست که من، خداوند خدای شما، بر کوه مقدّس خود صهیون، ساکن هستم. اورشلیم شهری مقدّس خواهد بود و بیگانگان دیگر هرگز نخواهند توانست بر آن پیروز شوند.

¹⁸It will happen in that day, that the mountains will drop down sweet wine, the hills will flow with milk, all the brooks of Judah will flow with waters, and a fountain will come forth from the house of Yahweh, and will water the valley of Shittim.

¹⁸ در آن زمان از کوهها شراب تازه می‌چکد و از تپّه‌ها شیر جاری می‌شود. جویهای خشک یهودا از آب لبریز می‌گردند و از معبد بزرگ چشمهٔ آب فوران می‌کند و درّهٔ اقاقیا را سیراب می‌سازد.

¹⁹Egypt will be a desolation, and Edom will be a desolate wilderness, for the violence done to the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

¹⁹ سرزمینهای مصر و اَدوم به‌خاطر ظلمی که در حق اهالی یهودا کرده‌اند و خون مردم بی‌گناه را در آنجا ریخته‌اند، به بیابان خشک و بایر تبدیل خواهند شد.

²⁰But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

²⁰ امّا یهودا و کوه صهیون برای همیشه آباد و پرجمعیّت می‌ماند. انتقام خون ایشان را خواهم گرفت و از خطای گناهکار نخواهم گذشت‌، چون من، خداوند در صهیون ساکن خواهم شد.

²¹I will cleanse their blood, that I have not cleansed: for Yahweh dwells in Zion.”

²¹ انتقام خون ایشان را خواهم گرفت و از خطای گناهکار نخواهم گذشت‌، چون من، خداوند در صهیون ساکن خواهم شد.
