¹Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.

¹ بعد از روز سبت، در سپیده‌دَم صبح روز یكشنبه، مریم مجدلیه و آن مریم دیگر به دیدن قبر رفتند.

²Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat on it.

² ناگاه زمین لرزه شدیدی رخ داد، زیرا فرشتهٔ خداوند از آسمان نازل شده به سوی سنگ آمد و آن را به كناری غلطانیده بر روی آن نشست.

³His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.

³ صورت او مثل برق می‌درخشید و لباسهایش مانند برف سفید بود.

⁴For fear of him, the guards shook, and became like dead men.

⁴ از دیدن این منظره نگهبانان از ترس لرزیدند و مانند مرده به زمین افتادند.

⁵The angel answered the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified.

⁵ آنگاه فرشته به زنها گفت: «نترسید! می‌دانم كه به دنبال عیسی مصلوب می‌گردید.

⁶He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.

⁶ او اینجا نیست. چنانکه خود او قبلاً گفته بود، پس از مرگ زنده گشت. بیایید و جایی را كه او خوابیده بود، ببینید

⁷Go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there you will see him.’ Behold, I have told you.”

⁷ و زود بروید و به شاگردان او بگویید كه او پس از مرگ زنده شده است و قبل از شما به جلیل خواهد رفت و شما او را آنجا خواهید دید. آنچه را به شما گفتم به‌خاطر داشته باشید.»

⁸They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.

⁸ آنها با عجله و ترس و در عین حال شاد و خوشحال از قبر خارج شدند و دوان‌دوان رفتند تا این خبر را به شاگردان برسانند.

⁹As they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” They came and took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.

⁹ در ضمن راه، ناگهان عیسی با آنان روبه‌رو شده گفت: «سلام بر شما!» زنها جلو آمدند و بر قدمهای او به خاک افتاده، در مقابل او سجده كردند.

¹⁰Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Go tell my brothers The word for “brothers” here may be also correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see me.”

¹⁰ آنگاه عیسی به آنان فرمود: «نترسید، بروید و به برادران من بگویید كه به جلیل بروند و در آنجا مرا خواهند دید.»

¹¹Now while they were going, behold, some of the guards came into the city, and told the chief priests all the things that had happened.

¹¹ وقتی زنها در راه بودند، بعضی از نگهبانان به شهر رفته، آنچه را كه اتّفاق افتاده بود، به سران كاهنان گزارش دادند.

¹²When they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave a large amount of silver to the soldiers,

¹² سران كاهنان پس از ملاقات و مشورت با مشایخ پول زیادی به سربازان دادند

¹³saying, “Say that his disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

¹³ تا اینكه آنها بگویند: «شاگردان او شبانه آمدند و هنگامی‌که ما در خواب بودیم، جسد را دزدیدند.»

¹⁴If this comes to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him and make you free of worry.”

¹⁴ و نیز افزودند: «اگر این موضوع به گوش فرماندار برسد، ما خودمان او را قانع می‌کنیم و نمی‌گذاریم كه شما به زحمت بیفتید.»

¹⁵So they took the money and did as they were told. This saying was spread abroad among the Jews, and continues until this day.

¹⁵ پس نگهبانان پول را گرفته طبق دستور آنان عمل كردند و این موضوع تا به امروز در بین یهودیان شایع است.

¹⁶But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had sent them.

¹⁶ یازده شاگرد عیسی به جلیل، به آن كوهی كه عیسی گفته بود، آنان را در آنجا خواهد دید، رفتند.

¹⁷When they saw him, they bowed down to him, but some doubted.

¹⁷ وقتی آنها عیسی را دیدند، او را پرستش كردند. هرچند كه بعضی در شک بودند.

¹⁸Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

¹⁸ آنگاه عیسی جلوتر آمده برای آنان صحبت كرد و فرمود: «تمام قدرت در آسمان و بر زمین به من داده شده است.

¹⁹ Go, TR and NU add “therefore” and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

¹⁹ پس بروید و همهٔ ملّتها را شاگرد من سازید و آنها را به نام پدر و پسر و روح‌القدس تعمید دهید و تعلیم دهید كه همهٔ چیزهایی را كه به شما گفته‌ام، انجام دهند و بدانید كه من هر روزه تا آخر زمان با شما هستم.»

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

²⁰ و تعلیم دهید كه همهٔ چیزهایی را كه به شما گفته‌ام، انجام دهند و بدانید كه من هر روزه تا آخر زمان با شما هستم.»
