¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹ خداوند به موسی فرمود این دستورها را به قوم اسرائیل بدهد: هر مرد یا زنی که نذر مخصوصی کند و خود را وقف خدمت به خداوند نماید،

²“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them: ‘When either man or woman shall make a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to Yahweh,

² تا هنگامی‌که خود را وقف خداوند کرده است، نباید مشروبات الکلی، شراب، سرکه و آب انگور بنوشد و نباید انگور، کشمش و هر چیزی که از تاک به دست آمده باشد، حتّی دانه و پوست آن را بخورد.

³he shall separate himself from wine and strong drink. He shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of fermented drink, neither shall he drink any juice of grapes, nor eat fresh grapes or dried.

³ مدّت زمانی که خود را وقف خداوند نموده، نباید موی سرش را بتراشد، او مقدّس است و باید بگذارد موی سرش بلند شود.

⁴All the days of his separation he shall eat nothing that is made of the grapevine, from the seeds even to the skins.

⁴ در مدّتی که خود را وقف خداوند کرده است، نباید به جنازه‌ای نزدیک شود و خود را ناپاک سازد، حتّی اگر جنازهٔ پدر، مادر، برادر و یا خواهرش باشد،

⁵“‘All the days of his vow of separation no razor shall come on his head, until the days are fulfilled, in which he separates himself to Yahweh. He shall be holy. He shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow long.

⁵ زیرا در تمام آن مدّت وقف خداوند می‌باشد.

⁶“‘All the days that he separates himself to Yahweh he shall not go near a dead body.

⁶ هرگاه کسی به طور ناگهانی در کنار او بمیرد، ناپاک می‌شود و باید پس از هفت روز موی سر خود را بتراشد تا از نجاست پاک شود.

⁷He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die; because his separation to God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” is on his head.

⁷ در روز هشتم دو قمری یا دو جوجه کبوتر را به در ورودی خیمهٔ عبادت بیاورد و به کاهن بدهد.

⁸All the days of his separation he is holy to Yahweh.

⁸ کاهن یکی را به عنوان قربانی گناه و دیگری برای قربانی سوختنی تقدیم کند و گناه او را به‌خاطر نزدیکی‌اش به جنازه، کفّاره نماید. در همان روز او باید موهای خود را دوباره تقدیس کند.

⁹“‘If any man dies very suddenly beside him, and he defiles the head of his separation; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing. On the seventh day he shall shave it.

⁹ در همان روز دوباره خود را وقف خداوند کند و روزهای پیش از ناپاکی‌اش را حساب نکند، زیرا تقدیس موهایش از بین رفته است. او باید یک برّه به عنوان قربانی جبران خطا تقدیم نماید.

¹⁰On the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting.

¹⁰ وقتی دورهٔ نذر خود را به پایان رسانید، باید به دَم دروازهٔ خیمهٔ عبادت برود

¹¹The priest shall offer one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make atonement for him, because he sinned by reason of the dead, and shall make his head holy that same day.

¹¹ و یک برّهٔ نر یک ساله و بی‌عیب را، برای قربانی سوختنی، یک برّهٔ مادهٔ یک ساله و بی‌عیب را، برای قربانی گناه و همچنین یک قوچ بی‌عیب را، به عنوان قربانی سلامتی،

¹²He shall separate to Yahweh the days of his separation, and shall bring a male lamb a year old for a trespass offering; but the former days shall be void, because his separation was defiled.

¹² با یک سبد نان فطیر، که از آرد مرغوب، مخلوط با روغن زیتون تهیّه شده باشد و قرص‌های روغنی و هدیهٔ آردی و نوشیدنی بیاورد.

¹³“‘This is the law of the Nazirite: when the days of his separation are fulfilled, he shall be brought to the door of the Tent of Meeting,

¹³ کاهن این قربانی و هدایا را از او بگیرد و به حضور خداوند به عنوان قربانی گناه و قربانی سوختنی تقدیم کند.

¹⁴and he shall offer his offering to Yahweh, one male lamb a year old without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings,

¹⁴ قوچ را با یک سبد نان فطیر و هدیهٔ آردی و نوشیدنی برای قربانی سلامتی تقدیم نماید.

¹⁵and a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and their meal offering, and their drink offerings.

¹⁵ بعد، شخصی که خود را وقف خداوند کرده است، موی سر خود را جلوی در خیمهٔ عبادت بتراشد و در آتش قربانگاه سلامتی بیندازد.

¹⁶The priest shall present them before Yahweh, and shall offer his sin offering, and his burnt offering.

¹⁶ سپس کاهن، شانهٔ پُخته قوچ را با یک نان فطیر و یک قرص نان روغنی، در دست او بگذارد.

¹⁷He shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh, with the basket of unleavened bread. The priest shall offer also its meal offering, and its drink offering.

¹⁷ پس از آن کاهن همهٔ آنها را بگیرد و به عنوان هدیهٔ مخصوص در حضور خداوند تکان بدهد. اینها و همچنین سینه و ران قوچ، سهم مقدّس کاهن است. آنگاه شخصی که خود را وقف خداوند کرده است، می‌تواند شراب بنوشد.

¹⁸The Nazirite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of peace offerings.

¹⁸ این مقرّرات مربوط به کسی است که نذر می‌کند و خود را وقف خداوند می‌کند و همچنین مربوط به قربانی‌هایی است که در پایان دوران نذر خود باید تقدیم کند. علاوه بر اینها، او باید نذرهای دیگری را که در شروع دوران وقف به گردن گرفته است، ادا نماید.

¹⁹The priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them on the hands of the Nazirite, after he has shaved the head of his separation;

¹⁹ خداوند به موسی فرمود:

²⁰and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh. This is holy for the priest, together with the breast that is waved and the thigh that is offered. After that the Nazirite may drink wine.

²⁰ به هارون و پسران او بگو که قوم اسرائیل را با این عبارات برکت بدهند:

²¹“‘This is the law of the Nazirite who vows, and of his offering to Yahweh for his separation, besides that which he is able to get. According to his vow which he vows, so he must do after the law of his separation.’”

²¹ خداوند شما را برکت بدهد و در پناه خود نگه دارد.

²²Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²² خداوند نور چهرهٔ خود را بر شما بتاباند و شما را از فیض و رحمت خود برخوردار گرداند.

²³“Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘This is how you shall bless the children of Israel.’ You shall tell them,

²³ خداوند به شما بنگرد و به شما صلح و آرامش عطا فرماید. خداوند گفت: «هرگاه هارون و پسرانش به نام من، برای ایشان برکت بخواهند، من به آنها برکت خواهم داد.»

²⁴ خداوند گفت: «هرگاه هارون و پسرانش به نام من، برای ایشان برکت بخواهند، من به آنها برکت خواهم داد.»

²⁵Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you.

²⁶Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace.’

²⁷“So they shall put my name on the children of Israel; and I will bless them.”
