1“Sing, barren, you who didn’t bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who did not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife,” says Yahweh.
1Возвеселись, неплодная, нерождающая; воскликни и возгласи, немучившаяся родами; потому что у оставленной гораздо более детей, нежели у имеющей мужа, говорит Господь.
2“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitations; don’t spare: lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.
2Распространи место шатра твоего, расширь покровы жилищ твоих; нестесняйся, пусти длиннее верви твои и утверди колья твои;
3For you shall spread out on the right hand and on the left; and your seed shall possess the nations, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
3ибо ты распространишься направо и налево, и потомство твое завладеет народами и населит опустошенные города.
4“Don’t be afraid; for you shall not be ashamed: neither be confounded; for you shall not be disappointed: for you shall forget the shame of your youth; and the reproach of your widowhood you shall remember no more.
4Не бойся, ибо не будешь постыжена; не смущайся, ибо не будешь в поругании: ты забудешь посрамление юности твоей и не будешь более вспоминать о бесславии вдовства твоего.
5For your Maker is your husband; Yahweh of Armies is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; the God of the whole earth shall he be called.
5Ибо твой Творец есть супруг твой; Господь Саваоф – имя Его; и Искупитель твой – Святый Израилев: Богом всей земли назовется Он.
6For Yahweh has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off,” says your God.
6Ибо как жену, оставленную и скорбящую духом, призывает тебя Господь, и как жену юности, которая была отвержена, говорит Бог твой.
7“For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you.
7На малое время Я оставил тебя, но с великою милостью воспримутебя.
8In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting loving kindness will I have mercy on you,” says Yahweh your Redeemer.
8В жару гнева Я сокрыл от тебя лице Мое на время, но вечною милостью помилую тебя, говорит Искупитель твой, Господь.
9“For this is like the waters of Noah to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
9Ибо это для Меня, как воды Ноя: как Я поклялся, что воды Ноя не придут более на землю, так поклялся не гневаться на тебя и не укорять тебя.
10For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my loving kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed,” says Yahweh who has mercy on you.
10Горы сдвинутся и холмы поколеблются, – а милость Моя не отступит от тебя, и завет мира Моего не поколеблется, говорит милующий тебя Господь.
11“You afflicted, tossed with storms, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in beautiful colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires.
11Бедная, бросаемая бурею, безутешная! Вот, Я положу камни твои на рубине и сделаю основание твое из сапфиров;
12I will make your pinnacles of rubies, and your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones.
12и сделаю окна твои из рубинов и ворота твои - из жемчужин, и всю ограду твою – из драгоценных камней.
13All your children shall be taught of Yahweh; and great shall be the peace of your children.
13И все сыновья твои будут научены Господом, и великий мир будет усыновей твоих.
14In righteousness you shall be established: you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not be afraid; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.
14Ты утвердишься правдою, будешь далека от угнетения, ибо тебе бояться нечего, и от ужаса, ибо он не приблизится к тебе.
15Behold, they may gather together, but not by me: whoever shall gather together against you shall fall because of you.
15Вот, будут вооружаться против тебя , но не от Меня; кто бы ни вооружился против тебя, падет.
16“Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals, and brings forth a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
16Вот, Я сотворил кузнеца, который раздувает угли в огне и производит орудие для своего дела, – и Я творю губителя для истребления.
17No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness which is of me,” says Yahweh.
17Ни одно орудие, сделанное против тебя, не будет успешно; и всякий язык, который будет состязаться с тобою на суде, – ты обвинишь. Это есть наследие рабов Господа, оправдание их от Меня, говорит Господь.
