1Hallelujah! Chváľte Hospodina z nebies! Chváľte ho na výsostiach!
2Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all his army!
2Chváľte ho, všetci jeho anjeli; chváľte ho, všetky jeho zástupy!
3Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you shining stars!
3Chváľte ho, slnce a mesiac! Chváľte ho, všetky hviezdy svetla!
4Praise him, you heavens of heavens, You waters that are above the heavens.
4Chváľte ho, nebesia nebies i vody, ktoré ste zhora nebies!
5Let them praise the name of Yahweh, For he commanded, and they were created.
5Nech chvália meno Hospodinovo, lebo on rozkázal, a boly stvorené,
6He has also established them forever and ever. He has made a decree which will not pass away.
6a postavil ich navždy, na veky; vydal zákon, a niktoré neprekročí!
7Praise Yahweh from the earth, you great sea creatures, and all depths!
7Chváľte Hospodina, vy zo zeme, veľryby a všetky priepasti,
8Lightning and hail, snow and clouds; stormy wind, fulfilling his word;
8oheň a hrád, sneh i para, búrlivý vietor, ktorý vykonáva jeho slovo,
9mountains and all hills; fruit trees and all cedars;
9vrchy a všetky brehy, ovocné stromy a všetky cedry,
10wild animals and all livestock; small creatures and flying birds;
10divá zver a všetky hovädá, plazy a okrýdlené vtáctvo,
11kings of the earth and all peoples; princes and all judges of the earth;
11kráľovia zeme a všetky národy, kniežatá a všetci sudcovia zeme,
12both young men and maidens; old men and children:
12mládenci i panny, starci s deťmi.
13let them praise the name of Yahweh, for his name alone is exalted. His glory is above the earth and the heavens.
13Nech chvália meno Hospodinovo, lebo jeho meno samo je vyvýšené, jeho veličenstvo nad zemou i nad nebesami.
14He has lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise Yah!
14A vyvýšil roh svojho ľudu, chválu všetkých svojich svätých, synov Izraelových, ľud, blízky jemu. Hallelujah!
