Song of Solomon

6

1Where has your beloved gone, you fairest among women? Where has your beloved turned, that we may seek him with you? Beloved
1Kam išiel tvoj milý, ó, ty najkrásnejšia medzi ženami? Kam sa obrátil tvoj milý? A budeme ho hľadať s tebou.
2My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies.
2Môj milý sostúpil do svojej zahrady, k záhonom vonín, aby pásol v zahradách a aby trhal ľalie.
3I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine. He browses among the lilies,
3Ja som svojho milého, a môj milý je môj, ktorý pasie medzi ľaliami.
4You are beautiful, my love, as Tirzah, lovely as Jerusalem, awesome as an army with banners.
4Krásna si ty, moja priateľko, jako mesto Tirca, pekná jako Jeruzalem, strašná jako voje s práporami.
5Turn away your eyes from me, for they have overcome me. Your hair is like a flock of goats, that lie along the side of Gilead.
5Odvráť svoje oči odo mňa, lebo ma vzrušujú; tvoje vlasy jako stádo kôz, ktoré sa spúšťajú s vrchu Gileáda;
6Your teeth are like a flock of ewes, which have come up from the washing; of which every one has twins; none is bereaved among them.
6tvoje zuby jako stádo oviec, ktoré vystupujú z kúpeľa, z ktorých každá rodí po dvoje, a nieto medzi nimi takej, ktorá by nerodila,
7Your temples are like a piece of a pomegranate behind your veil.
7jako polovica granátového jablka tvoja slucha zpod tvojho závoja.
8There are sixty queens, eighty concubines, and virgins without number.
8Šesťdesiat ich je kráľovien a osemdesiat ženín, a mladiciam neni počtu;
9My dove, my perfect one, is unique. She is her mother’s only daughter. She is the favorite one of her who bore her. The daughters saw her, and called her blessed; the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.
9ale iba jedna je moja holubica, moja bezvadná, jediná svojej matky, vyvolená tej, ktorá ju porodila. Videly ju dcéry a blahoslavily ju, kráľovny a ženiny, a chválily ju.
10Who is she who looks forth as the morning, beautiful as the moon, clear as the sun, and awesome as an army with banners?
10Kto je to tá, ktorá vyzerá jako ranná zora, krásna jako mesiac, čistá jako slnce, strašná jako voje s práporami?
11I went down into the nut tree grove, to see the green plants of the valley, to see whether the vine budded, and the pomegranates were in flower.
11Sišla som do orechovej zahrady pozrieť ovocie údolia, pozrieť, či kvitne vinič, či kvitnú granátové jablone.
12Without realizing it, my desire set me with my royal people’s chariots. Friends
12Nevedela som, len keď ma presadila moja duša medzi vozy môjho kniežatského ľudu.
13Return, return, Shulammite! Return, return, that we may gaze at you. Lover Why do you desire to gaze at the Shulammite, as at the dance of Mahanaim?
