1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
1In GOSPOD je govoril Mojzesu, rekoč:
2“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her monthly period she shall be unclean.
2Govóri sinovom Izraelovim in reci: Če žena spočne in porodi moško dete, nečista bodi sedem dni; nečista bode kakor v dnevih ločitve v bolezni svoji.
3In the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
3In osmi dan naj se obreže meso kožice njegove.
4She shall continue in the blood of purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any holy thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying are completed.
4Ona pa naj še ostane triintrideset dni v krvi svojega očiščevanja; ničesar svetega naj se ne dotakne in k svetišču naj ne hodi, dokler se ne dopolnijo dnevi očiščevanja njenega.
5But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her period; and she shall continue in the blood of purification sixty-six days.
5Ako pa rodi žensko dete, bodi nečista dva tedna, kakor ob mesečni ločitvi svoji; in šestinšestdeset dni naj še ostane v krvi očiščevanja.
6“‘When the days of her purification are completed, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring to the priest at the door of the Tent of Meeting, a year old lamb for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering:
6Ko pa se dopolnijo dnevi očiščevanja njenega za sina ali za hčer, naj prinese enoletno jagnje v žgalno daritev ali golobiča ali grlico v daritev za greh duhovniku pred vrata shodnega šatora.
7and he shall offer it before Yahweh, and make atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the fountain of her blood. “‘This is the law for her who bears, whether a male or a female.
7Ta pa naj to daruje pred GOSPODOM in izvrši poravnavo zanjo, in čista bode toka krvi svoje. To je postava roditeljicam pri moškem ali ženskem detetu.Ako pa imetje njeno ni zadostno za ovco, naj vzame dve grlici ali dva golobiča, enega v žgalščino in drugega v daritev za greh; in duhovnik naj stori poravnavo zanjo, in čista bode.
8If she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons; the one for a burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.’”
8Ako pa imetje njeno ni zadostno za ovco, naj vzame dve grlici ali dva golobiča, enega v žgalščino in drugega v daritev za greh; in duhovnik naj stori poravnavo zanjo, in čista bode.
