1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
1Jehovha wakataura naMozisi akati,
2“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘When a man makes a vow, the persons shall be for Yahweh by your valuation.
2Taura navana vaIsiraeri, uti kwavari, Kana munhu akazvisunga nokupika kukuru, vanhu ngavave vaJehovha sezvaunotara iwe.
3Your valuation shall be of a male from twenty years old even to sixty years old, even your valuation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
3Ipapo uchitara mutengo womurume una makore ana makumi maviri kusvikira pamakumi matanhatu, kutara kwako ngakuite mashekeri makumi mashanu esirivha, uchienzanisa neshekeri rapanzvimbo tsvene.
4If it is a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels.
4Kana ari mukadzi, kutara kwako ngakuite mashekeri makumi matatu esirivha.
5If the person is from five years old even to twenty years old, then your valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels.
5Kana ana makore anobva pamashanu kusvikira pamakore makumi maviri, kutara kwako komurume ngakuite mashekeri makumi maviri, nokomukadzi mashekeri ane gumi.
6If the person is from a month old even to five years old, then your valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver.
6Kana anomwedzi mumwe kusvikira pamakore mashanu, kutara kwako komurume ngakuite mashekeri mashanu esirivha, nokutara kwako komukadzi ngakuite mashekeri matatu esirivha.
7If the person is from sixty years old and upward; if it is a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels.
7Kana ana makore makumi matanhatu naanopfuura, kana ari murume, kutara kwako ngakuite mashekeri ane gumi namashanu, kana ari mukadzi mashekeri ane gumi.
8But if he is poorer than your valuation, then he shall be set before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to the ability of him who vowed shall the priest value him.
8Kana ari murombo, asingasviki pakutara kwako, anofanira kuiswa pamberi pomupristi, kuti mupristi amutarire; mupristi anofanira kumutarira iye wakapika sezvaangagona kuripa.
9“‘If it is an animal, of which men offer an offering to Yahweh, all that any man gives of such to Yahweh becomes holy.
9Kana chiri chipfuwo chinopiwa Jehovha, chokutenda nacho, zvose zvacho zvinopa munhu Jehovha zvinofanira kuva zvitsvene.
10He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change animal for animal, then both it and that for which it is changed shall be holy.
10Haafaniri kuzvishandura kana kutsinhanisa chakaipa nechakanaka, kana chakanaka nechakaipa; kana atsinhanisa chipfuwo nechipfuwo, icho nechakatsinhiwa, zvose zviri zviviri zvinofanira kuva zvitsvene.
11If it is any unclean animal, of which they do not offer as an offering to Yahweh, then he shall set the animal before the priest;
11Kana chiri chipfuwo chisina kunaka, chisingapiwi Jehovha chekutenda nacho, chipfuwo icho chinofanira kuiswa kumupristi;
12and the priest shall value it, whether it is good or bad. As you the priest values it, so shall it be.
12zvino mupristi anofanira kuchitarira mutengo, kana chakanaka kana chakaipa; sezvawakachitarira iwe mupristi, ndizvo zvachichaita.
13But if he will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of it to its valuation.
13Zvino kana achida kuchidzikunura, anofanira kuwedzera cheshanu chacho pakutara kwako.
14“‘When a man dedicates his house to be holy to Yahweh, then the priest shall evaluate it, whether it is good or bad: as the priest shall evaluate it, so shall it stand.
14Kana munhu achiita imba yake tsvene, kuti ive tsvene kuna Jehovha, mupristi anofanira kuitarira, kana yakanaka kana yakaipa; sezvainotarirwa nomupristi, zvinofanira kuramba zvakadaro.
15If he who dedicates it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall be his.
15Kana iye wakaita imba yake tsvene achida kuidzikunura, anofanira kuwedzera cheshanu chemari yawakatara iwe, ipapo ichava yake.
16“‘If a man dedicates to Yahweh part of the field of his possession, then your valuation shall be according to the seed for it: the sowing of a homer of barley shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.
16Kana munhu akaitira Jehovha ndima yomunda wake tsvene, iwe unofanira kuitarira mutengo uchienzanisa nezvakadzvarwamo; homeri imwe yebhari yakadzvarwa iite mashekeri makumi mashanu esirivha.
17If he dedicates his field from the Year of Jubilee, according to your valuation it shall stand.
17Kana achiita munda wake mutsvene kubva pagore rejubheri, sezvawakautarira iwe, zvinofanira kuramba zvakadaro.
18But if he dedicates his field after the Jubilee, then the priest shall reckon to him the money according to the years that remain to the Year of Jubilee; and an abatement shall be made from your valuation.
18Asi kana achitsaura munda wake shure kwegore rejubheri, mupristi anofanira kumutarira mari yakaenzana namakore akasara kusvikira pagore rejubheri; zvino mari iyo inofanira kutapudzwa pakutara kwako.
19If he who dedicated the field will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall remain his.
19Kana munhu wakatsaura munda wake achida kuudzikunura, anofanira kuwedzera cheshanu chemari yawakamutarira, ugova wake.
20If he will not redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more;
20Kana asingadi kudzikunura munda, kana zvimwe achinge atengesa munda kuno mumwe, haungazodzikunurwi;
21but the field, when it goes out in the Jubilee, shall be holy to Yahweh, as a field devoted; it shall be owned by the priests.
21asi munda uyu, kana uchisunungurwa negore rejubheri, unofanira kuva mutsvene kuna Jehovha, somunda wakayeriswa; uchava womupristi.
22“‘If he dedicates to Yahweh a field which he has bought, which is not of the field of his possession,
22Kana achitsaurira Jehovha munda waakatenga, usati uri munda wenhaka yake,
23then the priest shall reckon to him the worth of your valuation up to the Year of Jubilee; and he shall give your valuation on that day, as a holy thing to Yahweh.
23mupristi anofanira kumutarira mutengo sezvawakatara iwe kusvikira pagore rejubheri; zvino iye anofanira kuripa mari sezvawakatara iwe, chive chinhu chitsvene kuna Jehovha.
24In the Year of Jubilee the field shall return to him from whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land belongs.
24Pagore rejubheri munda unofanira kudzokera kumunhu waakanga atenga kwaari, kuna iye wakange ari muridzi wenyika.
25All your valuations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs to the shekel.
25Kutara kwako kose kunofanira kuenzaniswa neshekeri rapanzvimbo tsvene; shekeri rimwe rinoita magera maviri.
26“‘Only the firstborn among animals, which is made a firstborn to Yahweh, no man may dedicate it; whether an ox or sheep, it is Yahweh’s.
26Asi mwana wemhongora pakati pezvipfuwo, uri waJehovha zvauri mwana wemhongora, ngakurege kuva nomunhu unoutsaura; kana iri nzombe, kana gwai, ndezvaJehovha.
27If it is an unclean animal, then he shall buy it back according to your valuation, and shall add to it the fifth part of it: or if it isn’t redeemed, then it shall be sold according to your valuation.
27Kana chiri chipfuwo chisina kunaka, unofanira kuchidzikunura sezvawakachitarira iwe, achiwedzerawo cheshanu chacho; kana chisingadzikunurwi, chinofanira kutengeswa sezvawakachitarira iwe.
28“‘Notwithstanding, no devoted thing, that a man shall devote to Yahweh of all that he has, whether of man or animal, or of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy to Yahweh.
28Kunyange zvakadaro, hakune chinhu chakayeriswa, chakayerisirwa Jehovha nomunhu pazvose zvaanazvo, kana chiri chavanhu, kana zvipfuwo, kana munda wenhaka yake, chingatengeswa kana kudzikunurwa; chinhu chipi nechipi chakayeriswa, chinofanira kuva chitsvene kwazvo kuna Jehovha.
29“‘No one devoted, who shall be devoted from among men, shall be ransomed; he shall surely be put to death.
29Munhu upi noupi wakayeriswa, kana ari munhu wakayeriswa kuvanhu, haangadzikunurwi; anofanira kuurawa zvirokwazvo.
30“‘All the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is Yahweh’s. It is holy to Yahweh.
30Zvegumi zvose zvenyika, kana zviri zvembeu dzenyika, kana michero yemiti, ndezvaJehovha; zvitsvene kuna Jehovha.
31If a man redeems anything of his tithe, he shall add a fifth part to it.
31Kana munhu achida kudzikunura chimwe pazvegumi zvake, anofanira kuwedzera kwachiri cheshanu chacho.
32All the tithe of the herds or the flocks, whatever passes under the rod, the tenth shall be holy to Yahweh.
32Zvegumi zvose zvemombe, kana zvezvipfuwo zviduku, zvose zvinopfuura napazasi petsvimbo, chegumi chinofanira kuva chitsvene kuna Jehovha.
33He shall not search whether it is good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he changes it at all, then both it and that for which it is changed shall be holy. It shall not be redeemed.’”
33Haafaniri kucherekedza kana chiri chakanaka kana chakaipa, kana kuchitsinhanisa nechimwe; kana achinge atsinhanisa nechimwe, zvose zviri zviviri, icho nechakatsinhiwa, zvichava zvitsvene; hazvingadzikunurwi.
34These are the commandments which Yahweh commanded Moses for the children of Israel on Mount Sinai.
34Ndiyo mirairo yavana vaIsiraeri yakarairwa Mozisi naJehovha pagomo reSinai.
