1 Corinthians

3

1Brothers, I couldn’t speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ.
1 Ay mo, ay nya-izey, ay si du ka salaŋ araŋ se danga boroyaŋ kaŋ ga Irikoy Biya gana, amma day danga boroyaŋ kaŋ go bine ibaay* laaley banda, danga boroyaŋ kaŋ go attaciriyayaŋ Almasihu ra nooya.
2I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, not even now are you ready,
2 Ay n'araŋ no wa araŋ ma haŋ, manti ŋwaari tiŋo bo, zama waato araŋ mana hin a. Oho, hala hõ mo araŋ si hin a,
3for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men?
3 zama baa sohõ araŋ go bine ibaay laaley banda. Za kaŋ canse nda kusuuma go araŋ game ra, manti bine ibaay laaley banda no araŋ go? Manti araŋ go ga dira Adam-ize alhaali ra no?
4For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you fleshly?
4 Zama waati kaŋ araŋ boro fo go ga ne: «Ay ya Bulos wane no!» Afo mo ma ne: «Ay wo Abolos wane no!» Manti Adam-ize alhaali no araŋ go ga te?
5Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed; and each as the Lord gave to him?
5 Ifo ga ti Abolos binde? Ifo ga ti Bulos mo? Goy-teeriyaŋ no kaŋ do araŋ cimandi, mate kaŋ Rabbi na boro fo kulu no.
6I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.
6 Ay wo duma, Abolos mo na dumaro haŋandi, amma Irikoy no ka naŋ a beeri.
7So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
7 Yaadin gaa, bora kaŋ ga duma wala bora kaŋ ga haŋandi manti hay fo no, amma Irikoy no kaŋ ga naŋ a ma beeri.
8Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
8 Sohõ binde, bora kaŋ ga duma nda bora kaŋ ga haŋandi, i kulu afolloŋ no, boro kulu mo ga du nga alhakko nga goyo boŋ.
9For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.
9 Zama iri ya Irikoy goykasinyaŋ no, araŋ mo Irikoy faro da Irikoy cinaro no.
10According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.
10 Ay binde, Irikoy gomno boŋ kaŋ a n'ay no, ay na daba sinji, mate kaŋ cinako goni kaŋ gonda laakal ga te, amma boro fo go ga cina a boŋ. Amma boro kulu ma haggoy da cinayaŋo kaŋ dumi nga ga cina a boŋ.
11For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
11 Zama boro kulu si hin ka daba fo sinji, kaŋ waana wo kaŋ i jin ka sinji, nga kaŋ ti Yesu Almasihu.
12But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble;
12 Boro kulu mo kaŋ goono ga cina daba din boŋ, da wura no, wala nzarfu, wala tondi darzakoy, wala bundu, wala subu, wala buunu -- boro fo kulu goyo ga bangay.
13each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.
13 Zama zaaro din g'a bangandi, za kaŋ danji ra no Irikoy g'a neesi. Danjo bumbo mo ga boro kulu goyo neesi, hala dumi kaŋ no.
14If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.
14 Da bora goyo kaŋ a cina a boŋ ga cindi, bora ga du alhakku.
15If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.
15 Da bora goyo ton, a ga mursu nd'a, amma nga bumbo ga du faaba, danga boro kaŋ fun danji ra punti.
16Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
16 Araŋ mana bay kaŋ araŋ ya Irikoy fuwo no, Irikoy Biya mo go araŋ ra da goray?
17If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.
17 Boro kulu kaŋ na Irikoy fuwo halaci, Irikoy g'a koy halaci, zama Irikoy fuwo ya hanante no, kaŋ ga ti araŋ.
18Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.
18 Boro kulu ma si nga boŋ halli. Araŋ game ra boro kulu kaŋ ga tammahã nga te zamana wo laakalkooni, naŋ a ma bare ka ciya saamo, hal a ma du ka ciya laakalkooni nda cimi.
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He has taken the wise in their craftiness.”
19 Zama ndunnya wo laakalo ya saamotaray no Irikoy do, mate kaŋ i n'a hantum ka ne: «Ay ga laakalkooney di ngey boŋ hiila ra.»
20And again, “The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.”
20 I n'a hantum ka ne koyne: «Rabbi ga laakalkooney miiley bay, kaŋ yaamoyaŋ no.»
21Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,
21 Yaadin gaa, boro kulu ma si fooma nda boro! Zama hay kulu araŋ wane no.
22whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,
22 Da Bulos no, wala Abolos, wala Kefas, wala ndunnya, wala fundi, wala buuyaŋ wala sohõ hayey, wala hayey kaŋ go kaa -- i kulu araŋ wane yaŋ no.
23and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
23 Araŋ mo Almasihu wane yaŋ no, Almasihu mo Irikoy wane no.
