1Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of Yahweh at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel.
1 Kala Hezeciya donton Israyla nda Yahuda kulu gaa. A na tirayaŋ hantum mo ka samba Ifraymu nda Manasse kulu se, ka ne i ma kaa Rabbi windo kaŋ go Urusalima do, zama i ma Paska* bato te Rabbi, Israyla Irikoyo se.
2For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the assembly in Jerusalem, to keep the Passover in the second month.
2 Zama bonkoono na saaware te no, nga nda nga mayraykoyey da jama kulu kaŋ go Urusalima ra, i ma Paska bato haggoy handu hinkanta ra.
3For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves in sufficient number, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
3 Zama i mana du k'a haggoy alwaati kaŋ ga hagu ra, zama alfagey kaŋ na ngey boŋ hanandi mana wasa. Borey mo mana margu Urusalima ra jina.
4The thing was right in the eyes of the king and of all the assembly.
4 Haya din binde boori bonkoono da jama kulu diyaŋ gaa.
5So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem: for they had not kept it in great numbers in such sort as it is written.
5 I binde na hin sanni te ka ne i ma fe Israyla ra nangu kulu, za Beyer-Seba gaa kal a ma koy Dan gaa, i ma kaa ka Paska haggoy Rabbi, Israyla Irikoyo se Urusalima ra. Zama i mana bato haggoy da jama beeri sanda mate kaŋ cine a go hantumante.
6So the couriers went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, “You children of Israel, turn again to Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that he may return to the remnant that have escaped of you out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
6 Kala diyayaŋ fun bonkoono da nga mayraykoyey do ka konda tirey Israyla da Yahuda kulu ra, bonkoono lordo boŋ. I ne: «Ya araŋ Israyla izey, wa bare ka ye ka kaa Rabbi, Ibrahim da Isaka da Israyla Irikoyo do, zama a ma ye ka kaa araŋ kaŋ cindi yaŋ do, kaŋ yaŋ du ka yana Assiriya bonkooney kambe ra.
7Don’t be like your fathers, and like your brothers, who trespassed against Yahweh, the God of their fathers, so that he gave them up to desolation, as you see.
7 Wa si ciya sanda araŋ kaayey cine yaŋ, wala araŋ nya-izey, kaŋ yaŋ na amaana ŋwaari te Rabbi, i kaayey Irikoyo se. Nga mo n'i nooyandi i ma ciya humburandiyaŋ hari, sanda mate kaŋ cine araŋ go ga di.
8Now don’t be stiff-necked, as your fathers were; but yield yourselves to Yahweh, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified forever, and serve Yahweh your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you.
8 Sohõ binde, araŋ ma si te hanga sanday, sanda mate kaŋ cine araŋ kaayey te, amma wa araŋ boŋ salle Rabbi se. Wa furo a wane nangu hananta ra, kaŋ a hanandi hal abada din. Araŋ ma may Rabbi araŋ Irikoyo se, zama a futay korna ma bare ka fun araŋ gaa.
9For if you turn again to Yahweh, your brothers and your children shall find compassion before those who led them captive, and shall come again into this land: for Yahweh your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.”
9 Zama d'araŋ bare ka ye ka kaa Rabbi do, kulu araŋ nya-izey d'araŋ izey ga du bakaraw borey kaŋ kond'ey ka daŋ tamtaray yaŋ do. I ga ye ka kaa mo laabo wo ra. Zama Rabbi araŋ Irikoyo ya gomnikoy no kaŋ gonda bakaraw. A si banda bare araŋ gaa mo, hala day araŋ ye ka kaa a do.»
10So the couriers passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, even to Zebulun: but they ridiculed them, and mocked them.
10 Kala diyey koy ka galley gana Ifraymu da Manasse kulu ra, ka koy hala Zabluna ra, amma i dond'ey k'i hahaara, hala i na sanno ciya foori hari.
11Nevertheless certain men of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
11 Amma Aser da Manasse da Zabluna ra boro fooyaŋ na ngey boŋ kaynandi ka kaa Urusalima.
12Also on Judah came the hand of God to give them one heart, to do the commandment of the king and of the princes by the word of Yahweh.
12 Rabbi kamba goy Yahuda ra mo k'i no bine folloŋ, i ma bonkoono nda nga mayraykoyey lordo kaŋ i te Rabbi sanno do din gana.
13Many people assembled at Jerusalem to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great assembly.
13 Boro boobo mo no ka margu Urusalima ra zama ngey ma buuru kaŋ sinda dalbu bato* haggoy handu hinkanta ra, jama bambata no nda cimi.
14They arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.
14 I binde tun ka sargay feemey kaŋ go Urusalima ra yaŋ ku. Dugu tonyaŋ feemey kulu mo, i n'i ku k'i gusam Kidron gooro ra.
15Then they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought burnt offerings into the house of Yahweh.
15 Waato din gaa no i na Paska feej'izey wi handu hinkanta jirbi way cindi taaca hane. Lawi borey da alfagey mo, haawi n'i di. I na ngey boŋ hanandi ka kande sargayey kaŋ i ga ton Rabbi windo ra.
16They stood in their place after their order, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood which they received of the hand of the Levites.
16 I kay mo ngey nangey ra ngey sasara ra, Irikoy bora Musa asariya boŋ. Alfagey na kurey kaŋ i ta Lawi borey kambe ra say-say.
17For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves: therefore the Levites were in charge of killing the Passovers for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to Yahweh.
17 Zama boro boobo go jama ra kaŋ yaŋ mana ngey boŋ hanandi. Woodin sabbay se no Lawi borey, ngey no ka bara nda Paska feej'ize wiyaŋo goyo borey kaŋ yaŋ sinda hananyaŋ kulu se, i m'i hanandi Rabbi se.
18For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise than it is written. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, “May the good Yahweh pardon everyone
18 Zama boro jama, sanda Ifraymu nda Manasse da Isakar da Zabluna ra, i boobo mana ngey boŋ hanandi. Kulu nda yaadin i na Paska ŋwa, day manti sanda mate kaŋ cine i hantum din boŋ. Zama Hezeciya na adduwa te i se ka ne: «Rabbi gomnikoy ma yaafa
19who sets his heart to seek God, Yahweh, the God of his fathers, even if they aren’t clean according to the purification of the sanctuary.”
19 boro kulu se kaŋ na anniya haw nga ma Irikoy ceeci, Rabbi a kaayey Irikoyo, baa day kaŋ a mana hanan nangu hananta wano boŋ.»
20Yahweh listened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
20 Rabbi maa Hezeciya adduwa kaŋ a te mo, ka jama no baani.
21The children of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness; and the Levites and the priests praised Yahweh day by day, singing with loud instruments to Yahweh.
21 Israyla izey binde kaŋ yaŋ go Urusalima ra te jirbi iyye i goono ga buuru kaŋ sinda dalbu bato haggoy da farhã gumo. Lawi borey da alfagey mo goono ga Rabbi sifa zaari ka koy zaari. Baytu jinayey kaŋ yaŋ gonda jinde beeri, i goono ga baytu Rabbi se d'ey.
22Hezekiah spoke comfortably to all the Levites who had good understanding in the service of Yahweh. So they ate throughout the feast for the seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings, and making confession to Yahweh, the God of their fathers.
22 Hezeciya binde na Lawi borey kaŋ yaŋ ga goni Rabbi goyo gaa biney gaabandi. Jirbi iyya din kulu i go bato ra, i goono ga saabuyaŋ sargayey no, i goono ga saabu Rabbi ngey kaayey Irikoyo se.
23The whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days; and they kept another seven days with gladness.
23 Jama kulu binde na anniya sambu ngey ma ye ka jirbi iyye fo haggoy koyne. I na jirbi iyya din mo toonandi nda farhã.
24For Hezekiah king of Judah gave to the assembly for offerings one thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
25All the assembly of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the assembly who came out of Israel, and the foreigners who came out of the land of Israel, and who lived in Judah, rejoiced.
25 Yahuda jama kulu da alfagey da Lawi borey care banda, da jama kulu kaŋ yaŋ kaa ka fun Israyla ra, da yawey kaŋ kaa ka fun Israyla laabo ra, da borey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga ngey goray te Yahuda ra, i soobay ka farhã.
26So there was great joy in Jerusalem; for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.
26 I binde farhã gumo Urusalima ra, zama za Israyla bonkoono Dawda izo Suleymanu zamana ra i mana woodin dumi te Urusalima ra.
27Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even to heaven.
27 Waato din gaa alfagey da Lawi borey tun ka albarka gaara jama se. Rabbi maa i jindey mo. I adduwey mo ziji ka to Irikoy nangoray hananta do, kaŋ go beena ra.
