2 Chronicles

36

1Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father’s place in Jerusalem.
1 Laabo borey na Yosiya izo Yehowahaz sambu k'a didiji bonkooni a baabo nango ra Urusalima.
2Joahaz was twenty-three years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.
2 Yehowahaz gonda jiiri waranka cindi hinza waato kaŋ a sintin ka may. A may handu hinza Urusalima ra.
3The king of Egypt deposed him at Jerusalem, and fined the land one hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
3 Misira bonkoono mo n'a kaa koytara ra noodin Urusalima ra. A na laabu jukke nzarfu ton taaci nda jare cine da wura kilo waytaaci cindi gu cine.
4The king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and changed his name to Jehoiakim. Neco took Joahaz his brother, and carried him to Egypt.
4 Misira bonkoono mo na Yehowahaz nya izo Eliyacim didiji bonkooni Yahuda nda Urusalima boŋ. A n'a maa barmay ka daŋ Yehoyacim. Neko n'a nya izo Yehowahaz sambu ka kond'a Misira.
5Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh his God.
5 Yehoyacim gonda jiiri waranka cindi gu alwaato kaŋ a sintin ka may. A may jiiri way cindi fo Urusalima ra. A na goy laalo goy te Rabbi nga Irikoyo diyaŋ gaa.
6Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.
6 Babila bonkoono Nebukadnezzar mo kande Yehoyacim gaa wongu. A n'a haw da guuru-say sisiriyaŋ zama nga ma kond'a Babila.
7Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of Yahweh to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.
7 Nebukadnezzar na Rabbi windo ra jinay fooyaŋ ku mo ka kond'ey Babila. A n'i daŋ nga tooro windo ra noodin Babila.
8Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his place.
8 Yehoyacim goy cindey mo, d'a fanta harey kaŋ a te, da taalo kaŋ i gar a do, ngey neeya, i n'i hantum Israyla da Yahuda bonkooney tira ra. A izo Yehoyacin te bonkooni a nango ra.
9Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh.
9 Yehoyacin gonda jiiri ahakku waato kaŋ a sintin ka may. A may handu hinza nda jirbi way Urusalima ra. A na goy laalo te Rabbi diyaŋ gaa.
10At the return of the year king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought him to Babylon, with the goodly vessels of the house of Yahweh, and made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem.
10 Waato kaŋ jiiro bare, bonkoono Nebukadnezzar donton i ma kond'a Babila, nga nda Rabbi windo jinay hanney. I n'a dumi fo Zedeciya daŋ koytaray Yahuda nda Urusalima boŋ.
11Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem:
11 Zedeciya gonda jiiri waranka cindi fo waato kaŋ a sintin ka may. A may jiiri way cindi fo Urusalima ra.
12and he did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh his God; he didn’t humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet speaking from the mouth of Yahweh.
12 A na goy laalo te Rabbi nga Irikoyo diyaŋ gaa. A mana nga boŋ kaynandi annabi Irimiya jine, nga kaŋ na Rabbi me sanno salaŋ.
13He also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart against turning to Yahweh, the God of Israel.
13 A murte mo Bonkoono Nebukadnezzar gaa, nga kaŋ n'a daŋ zeyaŋ Irikoy maa boŋ, amma a na nga hanga sandandi. A na nga bina sandandi mo nga ma si bare ka ye Rabbi, Israyla Irikoyo do.
14Moreover all the chiefs of the priests, and the people, trespassed very greatly after all the abominations of the nations; and they polluted the house of Yahweh which he had made holy in Jerusalem.
14 Alfaga beerey kulu mo, da jama na asariya daaru gumo, dumi cindey fanta harey kulu boŋ. I na Rabbi windo kaŋ a hanandi Urusalima ra din ziibandi.
15Yahweh, the God of their fathers, sent to them by his messengers, rising up early and sending, because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:
15 Rabbi mo, i kaayey Irikoyo donton i gaa nga diyey do. A ga soobay k'i donton, zama a ga bakar nga borey se, da nga nangora mo se.
16but they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scoffed at his prophets, until the wrath of Yahweh arose against his people, until there was no remedy.
16 Amma i na Irikoy diyey hahaara, i donda a sanno. I na me nyatte a annabey gaa, hala Rabbi futa tun ka gaaba nda nga jama, hal a sinda safari.
17Therefore he brought on them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or gray-headed: he gave them all into his hand.
17 Woodin se no a kande Kaldancey bonkoono i gaa. Nga mo n'i arwasey wi da takuba i nangu hananta ra. Arwasu gaa, wandiyo gaa, albeeri gaa, hamni kwaaray gaa, a mana bakar baa afo se. Rabbi n'i kulu daŋ a kambe ra.
18All the vessels of God’s house, great and small, and the treasures of the house of Yahweh, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes, all these he brought to Babylon.
18 Irikoy windo jinay kulu, ikayna nda ibeeri, da Rabbi fuwo ra jinay darzantey, da koyo wane jinay darzantey, d'a mayraykoyey waney, woodin yaŋ kulu a kond'ey Babila.
19They burnt God’s house, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all its palaces with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels of it.
19 I na Irikoy windo ton ka Urusalima birni cinaro bagu-bagu. I n'a faadey kulu ton da danji, i n'a jinay hanney kulu halaci.
20He carried those who had escaped from the sword away to Babylon; and they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:
20 Borey kaŋ yaŋ na takuba yana mo, a kond'ey Babila. I ciya a tamyaŋ d'a izey mo waney hal a to Persiya mayra zamana gaa,
21to fulfill the word of Yahweh by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its Sabbaths. As long as it lay desolate it kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.
21 zama i ma Rabbi sanno kaŋ a ci Irimiya me ra toonandi, hala waati kaŋ cine laabo ga maa nga asibtey kaani. Zama duumi kaŋ a goono ga goro kurmu, a n'a asibtey haggoy, hala jiiri wayye timmante.
22Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of Yahweh by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, Yahweh stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
22 I go no binde, Persiya bonkoono Sirus koytara jiiri sintina ra, zama Rabbi sanno kaŋ a ci annabi Irimiya me ra ma to, kala Rabbi n'a daŋ Persiya bonkoono Sirus biya ra hal i ma fe nga mayra kulu ra. A naŋ i ma hantum mo ka ne:
23“Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘Yahweh, the God of heaven, has given all the kingdoms of the earth to me; and he has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all his people, Yahweh his God be with him, and let him go up.’”
23 «Yaa no Persiya bonkoono Sirus ne: ‹Rabbi Irikoy kaŋ go beene, a na ndunnya mayrayey kulu no ay se. A gaabandi ay se mo ya windi cina nga se Urusalima ra, kwaara kaŋ go Yahuda laabo ra. Boro kulu kaŋ no araŋ a borey ra, Rabbi a Irikoyo ma goro a banda. Bora ma tun ka koy noodin.› »
